  1. Then we move to some industrial music. Laibach is hard to grasp for newcomers, they were outlawed in yugoslavia, and the uninitiated often see them as fascists, they are one of the very few bands who performed in North Korea. In reality they are neither communists or fascists they are merely creating satire. They present things through a mocking glass, often pointing out the obvious that is ignored my the mainstream. Their live performances are not just about them playing music, it's an audiovisual feast. They act on stage, and show imagery to compliment the sounds. I was lucky enough to see them live, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. So without further ado here is one of their songs in their native language: From every band I like they are the one who I respect the most for being able to continually renew themselves, and everything they put out is a masterpiece in some sense.
  2. Next up in a complete 180 of genres here is this masterpiece, what can I say my musical taste is very wide and far reaching. I heard a few seconds of this song in a parody video, but instantly had to find out what it is. While I do speak a few words of German not on a level to have a grasp on the lyrics.
  3. I'll start with a few favorites of mine. i've bumped into this song a very long time ago, I DOn't remember exactly how, but been in love with it ever since. It goes without saying that I don't understand a single word of Swedish.
  4. There is something special about music, it speaks to you on a personal level, it can have a meaning even if you don't understand the words. The rhymes and voice of the singer can still tell you something. So are there any songs that become your favorite before you understood their lyrics?
  5. Basically every time when you think nobody is watching, but then someone actually walked in the room without you noticing.
  6. I'd not change it per se, but I'd make the indoctrination theory the canon ending of Mass Effect 3.
  7. Ok, here is something newer. This was extremely hard to find, youtube kept shoving results at me for the movie with that softboy Gosling.
  8. this topic got derailed pretty badly. What happened to the "discuss" part?
  9. Basically any game that is made with only online multiplayer in mind, lacking a proper single player campaign.
  10. I think it must have been some point and click adventure game that I first finished, but I have no idea which one. Based on a walkthrough guide OFC as I had zero english knowledge back then, and it's hard to complete an adventure game if you don't have a bloody idea what it's about. The first game I actuallly remember finishing was Doom in 1995 (because that's when I had a computer that could run it). We did it in hotseat coop with a friend during summer break.
  11. Even superfans aren't interested in inherently bad games.
  12. Most unusual recipes happen when you drink a lot. When hungry there is no time to "prepare" anything. And I always have something to eat, it never happened before that I'd ran out of all food. And I hope it never will. Besides all the food we eat is unusual to an American I guess. For example I ate tripe stew today. It is a perfectly normal food here.
  13. I blame the people who buy from scalpers. Weak minded fools. I'd love to see scalpers forced to sell bellow MSRP. Owning a game console is not a need, it's a want, you can wait.
  14. Blümchen - Nur geträumt Sash! - Ecuador Scooter - Break It Up Starsplash - Free Robbie Williams - Supreme Rollergirl - Dear Jessie Wamdue Project - King of my Castle Genesis - I Can't Dance Jamiroquai - Cosmic Girl Well, I remembered a lot, and there is more.
  15. You were referring to movies. How do you feel guilt over what happens in movies? Sadness, pity, resentment, but guilt? HOW?
  16. Game testing is mostly about doing things in games that you'd normally never do while actually playing a game.
  17. I'm old, so my favorite gaming video is old as well:

    The Paralympics?

I'm not a fan of the regular olympics either. I think it's overhyped and overorganized. I like some niche sports, some of which are at the olympics, but I prefer smaller competitions. There is more comradery and fair play, and it seems like everyone is happy at smaller events. At the olympics you can see a lot of frustrated athletes, I don't like that. I watch sports for the beauty of it, and the individual achievements, not because I root for anyone. I don't even revel when my countrymen win. I find it disgusting when the whole country acts like it is "our" victory, yeah, how did you personally contribute to it? It's not your victory then, you can't claim ownership of it just because the athlete happened to be born in the same country.
