Which is scariest?
Reality vs Adventure replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Forum Games & Fun
That's rough. In your case the simplest thing might scare you like a bunch of happy clowns skipping down the street with bloody aprons and naked headless dolls. Seems your fear is not knowing how to defeat the threat instead of the actual situation. -
Discuss a favorite game every day thread
Reality vs Adventure replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
Final Fantasy X is one of my favorites and it was my first turn based rpg. The story really impressed me and probably one of the best stories from games I've played to date. It was very challenging and fun. Sometimes it would take me an hour or more to defeat a foe using whatever bag of tricks I've accumulated. I played it on ps2, and have that itch to get it for the ps4. -
Why is it that games usually come out on Tuesdays?
Reality vs Adventure replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
I didn't know that. Maybe they have a backdoor agreement with retail to help draw in customers during the week when business is less. Movies don't go through retail so that's why it's always released on weekends when people have more time and get that big opening night for ratings. That's my two cents from this pocket full of pennies. -
Sid Meier Civilization 6 vs Tropico 6
Reality vs Adventure replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Video Games
I used to love Age of Empires. They need to come out with a new one. I'm leaning towards Civilization 6 but I haven't played any of the Civilization or Tropico games. -

Option 4 could actually include #2 and #5 because in genocide they could find themselves in a torture chamber or have inhumane experimentation done on them. -
How Often Do You Stock Up On Snacks?
Reality vs Adventure replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat

I didn't even know this game existed. It looks pretty cool. Any thoughts?

Republicans are really trying for a dictatorship even after the election. This is 3rd world country stuff. Trump is firing Pentagon staff and replacing with anti muslim and pro segregation type far right extremists to represent our military. They claim voter fraud and will not accept election.

What are your favorite open worlds?
Reality vs Adventure replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The Enhanced edition also has The Following which takes place in the countryside. Pretty cool. And you get to drive a buggy. It also has the addition where you can play as the zombie and attack humans. -
Has anyone played any of these two series? Civilization 6 and Tropico 6 are the latest games. Which do you prefer? Or do you prefer an older title or some other city building game?

Christians across the U.S. need to take a page from TST. They need to teach about racism, lying, and how not to discriminate against those in poverty in their Sunday school. They need a prayer configuration so that they know what to pray for and how to pray. And separate church and state. Glad you found something that you like and is helping others fight inequality. At one point I had a fiance that was Mormon. Of course the church controlled our relationship and she chose church over me. One thing I will never forget is a question she asked. How do you know what is morally right if you don't believe in God? That was greatly offensive to me because unlike her who has the need to have a mystic being and book guide her morality out of fear of God's wrath, I have a more innate moral compass that can't be controlled through edited books or what the law says. For example, slavery used to be legal. Is it so hard to know right from wrong? To not be a bigot, abuse others, lie, cheat, steal, kill, rape, violate others in any way? If it is so hard for them, then maybe they do need to go to church. Even that doesn't work. And as long as TST holds their principles, churches hold their principles, then leave me to have my own competence to hold my own principles. And I will fight for those principles if republicans keep trying for a dictatorship.

What are your favorite open worlds?

Finally someone else has a great take on Dying Light. It's one of the best zombie apocalypse open worlds. I was thinking it took place more in the Middle Eastern setting because of the music, hookahs here and there. I came across the game on youtube by chance. Definitely a game many missed out on. -
Satan, wolfman, and the talking mountain
Reality vs Adventure replied to The Blackangel's topic in Video Games
This is the second time my RDR2 said corrupted disc and delete application. I did that already and it took several days for the large updates. Now it did it again. I have to take a knee and say I'm done with RDR2. It was starting to get cool. But I'm not doing this again. I'm jealous you are enjoying the Halloween spoofs. -
Today's the day! I'm definitely getting it. But I am still playing Odyssey and Origins! Would be cool to play a game like that when they still have events.

Recommendations For Survival Horror/Thriller Games
Reality vs Adventure replied to killamch89's topic in Video Games
Hmm, I do see it on the Playstation store for cheap ($6.89). I've never bought digital before. How does that work? I guess it would always require internet to play? Is there any catch I'm missing? Do I need a subscription? Bow to the Gods? Give blood offering? -
Recommendations For Survival Horror/Thriller Games

Layers of Fear is expensive, but I really want that game. I don't even see one available for ps4. Observer also looks really good but expensive. I've never played, but you might want to look into the Outlast Trilogy. -
It's just the first impression everyone would get. I like opposition as long as it's the right opposition. Many false patriots today. I also question everything. And I am not in any way trying to attack you on this. I completely respect the tenets. But how did Satan become to mean opposition? And you are correct nobody should take things at face value. Look at all the evangelicals and other so called christians that betrayed this country. And more importantly chose hate, bigotry, lies, and criminality over civil liberties, morality, and oaths. Republican christians forfeited their claims in God and righteousness. And if Satan is opposition, what is God?

Settlement building, with protective guns

For me, I always had weight issues in my inventory which is the reason I stopped playing it. But you don't have to go around and pick up everything. If you want to city build then you will need those supplies. You can have a companion with you to carry weight and help fight. There is always something to find somewhere and you can use a dog to sniff it out. I think the game is something worth trying. It is a love or hate game. I had the same weight problem in Fallout 3 which I also stopped playing. Fallout 4 has better graphics, shooting mechanics, and city building. I thought the city building was a cool addition. Maybe try the cheaper Fallout 3? Much better graphics in 4 though. It's just one of those games you may love and another may hate. Environment is cool; city build; you get companions; change outfits; build weapons; monsters and bandits; protect your community and others; hack computers and pick locks; story and quests; hop into armor suit to destroy...

Why do they call it Satanic Temple? Doesn't that defeat it's purpose? It's kind of hypocritical to have that name that usually represents evil, and declare compassion and empathy. But those 7 tenets are good to follow. What 14 tenets do you have?

Sure you are thinking of Dying Light? Because the second one hasn't come out yet that I know of. -

Dying Light is a really good game. It's open world apocalypse-zombie. I don't think much is going to compare to RE7. Your standards are already set high. Definitely give Dying Light The Following Enhanced Edition a try. There is always The Last of Us if you haven't played it yet. Don't miss out on that one. Part 2 also was just released.
