  1. Dying Light is the best zombie apocalypse game I ever played. Not sure if I call it a shooter game because you mostly acquire other weapons to smash and chop them with; burn, electrocute, explode, poison; and in the Following expansion, run them over in a buggy. The apocalyptic environment is beautiful in the middle of a city. There were so many things to do in that game. Tons of quests. Run for your life to a safe zone once night hits. Beat the game, and still have quests to finish. The Following expansion is in the country side. I can't say enough that if you like zombie games, this one is a must!!! I came across it on youtube. Looked pretty amazing then, and pleasant surprise it was. There is a prison quest in the game you can repeat as many times you want. It is total hell. You can even play as a zombie in the enhanced edition that includes The Following. Dying Light 2 is coming out soon. Probably going to be on the ps5.
  2. For those that play video games I might have confused: no, what I said is not happening. No, it is not a conspiracy. My only point to make is that all entertainment can be used as a tool to incite violence if fallen into the wrong hands. That’s it. Bada bing.
  3. People on here get mad way too easy. What I said is worst case scenario. Doesn't make it not a possibility. And simply denying anything outrageous to be possible is exactly how things become possible.
  4. Any entertainment tool can be used to cause violence. Randomly violent video games do not cause a person to act in violence. Add in something very political and dominate almost every game with that political intent, then yes, the sheep will follow suit and act in violence. Imagine living in an isolated country where everything you see or do is controlled to make you see things a certain way. In a violent certain way against opponents. There will be violence. Now take a teen who may not watch movies, news, or listen to music. They play video games. The controlling government has to reach that target audience as well before they can become the opposition. To reach that youth, all the video games relay a certain violent message. Those individuals likely will become brainwashed like everyone else and act in violence against any perceived threat they were taught to act upon. So in an open market video gaming world, no. Video games are not the cause of somebody's violent act. In a closed authoritarian regime gaming world where the government is actively involved in manipulating your thoughts and producing tailored gaming, yes. ANY entertainment tool can be used to incite violence for political purposes. Not just one game out 1000. Not 5 games out of 100. ALL games the government has made and released just for you with political violent flavor to indulge yourselves everyday. And if you were the opposition and didn't like the games, spoke aloud, I'm sure your peers would send you to the hospital after school.
  5. I don't think anyone is smart enough to remake a good Contra. Just like Gi Joe, they keep making new ones for a baby audience. Contra was my favorite games on Nintendo. And Golden Axe, oh watch out. Let's see em try.
  6. Looks like No Man's Sky Origins was just released 4 days ago Sept. 23! Wow, talk about timing. I'm a little confused though. Is Origins the update after installing any new disc? Or do I buy the disc with it already updated. It looks like they still have several updates planned. It's definitely got my interest. Think I might wait a little longer to see how it goes.
  7. I miss levels!!! Not many modern games have levels to pass, then go on to another one with a different atmosphere. Today, we level up abilities instead. I miss the simplicity of controllers. You pop in the game and start playing. Today, you have to remember what buttons do what. In sports, you just play. Today it can take an hour to look at stats, build team, call plays. Back then you don't run out of ammo or have to fix gear or nurture your animal. In one hour you could have done a lot of gaming back then. In one hour today, you could dump some weight in your inventory, look at map to see where you are and need to go, choose a quest, choose a new ability, upgrade a weapon, then start playing. After you hit the wrong button and gave yourself the rarest healing potion, you got to restart the game again at latest save file. Hour up? Now you are ready to play. Fuck it, now it's time to go outside.
  8. I'll be damned if trump is playing a video game while China collects data from it. I think Russia has already tapped that ass.
  9. More like American southern jack accent.
  10. When you are in isolation you find out who is demon possessed. Some people have deliberately put their fingers all over my food, rim of cups, etc as if they think they could contaminate it. It is true. Be very observing and you can witness dirty intentions. Could literally be attempted murder. Has a person come around you haven't seen in a while and act as if they try to breathe on you? Does your spouse touch a dirty door handle and immediately make an excuse to touch your face? Yep. The demons are awakened.
  11. It's cause us heer Americans aw soo special and we take aw pride in being soo different than you rugby luvas. We aw betta den you!
  12. Chinese noodles and Italian pasta are the same. Put an Italian wrapper on Chinese noodles or vice versa and there would be no difference. Pasta Lo Mein please!
  13. The Hitler Playbook. Learn to be a dictator and genocide populations for dominance. Create chaos. Have strategic real world simulations online. Free to play for all including politicians and military personnel.
  14. "To be or not to be?" I want to be. I don't want not to be. Not to be seems to be a desperate place to be. To be is a better place to be. If we all wanted to be, then the world would be a better place to be. Animals want to be, we want to be, so why not leave them to be in peace? Not to be is not what nature wants us to be. We grow to be strong not to be wanting not to be. To be a part of something and to simply want to be, inspires me to be. To be able to be sympathetic helps me not to be careless why another chooses not to be. To be able to want to be is where the world should strive to be.
  15. 1st thing that comes to my mind is something I remember from the bible that says animals are here to benefit man. To me it sounds like a green light to abuse animals. If humans are more intelligent and have a 'higher consciousness' than other animals, then it is our responsibility to protect their ecosystems, treat them respectfully, and not drive them to extinction or torture them in slaughterhouses as we seem to do. I believe that a person who tries or wants to dominate others to build the likes of what they want, has simply crossed the threshold into an authoritarian view. I would simply ask the little people. Do you want my help? Of course I would prank them all the time. I would stomp around and hawk loogies at them. If I was mad I’d give them a golden shower. But it takes a special kind of nerve to try and dominate them. If I put that ring of power on my finger, will I turn mad? I don’t believe so. I have lost confidence in humanity, but I haven’t lost confidence in my own humanity. So I slip on that ring and try it out. My head is spinning and I am speaking in tongue! Now kneel before your master! I am the almighty! I own you! Ahhahahah! I will gut you all! I will tie all your bowels together and hang you from… Oh no the ring just fell off my bony finger. Ahem!! What just happened?
  16. I think the market really lacks any good space exploration game. Dead Space is good, but it is mostly inside a ship. Mass Effect was just ok for me. Are Star Wars games any good?
  17. I am definitely going to try and complete the story. Been playing it for around a year now. I put it down for a couple months cause it was complicated at first with all the potions and gear wearing down. I didn't care much for Gwent and skipped a lot of that part of the game. But now I just got into it and know how to play. Been going back to places I been to collect the cards. Kind of a brilliant little card game. I don't plan on quitting Witcher 3. I'm at level 19 in the main story line.
  18. Thank you Blackangel! But, the couple weeks I've been here it was you that was impressively active on this board. You've got interesting things to say and your contribution cannot be overlooked. I definitely have to nominate @The Blackangel.
  19. Spent my week transferring games, data, and updating them onto a new ps4 system. Took 2 full days to install AC Odyssey newest update on the new system. The damn ps4 to ps4 transfer wouldn't work; kept saying playstation network was down for maintenance. Bastards!!! Really? Then it rained, kept losing signal. Started smashing the old ps4 on my head! NOT! At least now I'm safe with backups.
  20. I went to Pompeii! They were definitely shorter in 79 than people are today. Stools and bar tops were low to the ground. There was even a preserved brothel with beds that fit 5 ft people. Paintings depicted different positions! No lie. There are also preserved bodies there.
  21. You won the lotto and have your own studio up on the Swiss Alps. What one genre would you be making a game in?
  22. This day in age, use your financial power to support companies with greater moral value. That rules Amazon out for not paying taxes and financially supporting a QANON politician. It's you who decides what companies make it in the future. Choose those with high morality.
  23. No, something was definitely wrong. I switched HDMI cable, plugged into different HDMI on tv. Found one HDMI slot that works. It wasn't picking up tv resolution. I guess it's sort of common I have seen on the web. Now I'm having a problem transferring data. Keeps freezing at a certain point. Might have save all the data manually from an external drive and reinstall each game separately on the new ps4. Bummer. No gaming for a while. Soldier is down! Carry the flag!
