Seriously, the wallet adjustment point really cracked me up this morning and if you look at it very closely, it's actually true because all they do now is set up ways to suck your money more.

I'm already speaking with a friend in US to see if he's interested in getting the chair. Although, I know he does have something similar but I'm going to try and persuade him.

Like Capcom cares about that at all? They are all eye out for ways to keep making silly remakes that doesn't offer anything unique.

I think the biggest thing to gaming in recent years is VR gaming. To me, video games haven't really changed all too much. Sure we've had some additions with rhythm based games like Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc. And great new mechanics in video games. But I feel video games have been a constant for the past 15-20 years. At least for me, because each new console has been an easy experience for me to adjust to. I guess dealing with online connectivity was a change, but it was more of a welcomed change, to finally be able to play video games online with friends.
Aside from that, I think the only adjustments you really got to make is to your wallet, because each new generation consoles cost a ton, and I've never been able to adjust to that.

Boblee reacted to PGen98 in Do you make use of game's tutorials?
Agreed, it would be foolish not to include a tutorial in a game, it's essential for newer players to learn how to actually play a game.

Seriously, Fortnite is a major disappointment in video games now. Capcom is now battle with EA and Ubisoft who would be the best shitty company.

Here is a clip of what I talked about how good WatchMojo is when it comes to their reviews.

Yeah - he screams a lot but it's just for the comedic value. You do get a good laugh out of some of his complaints.

Boblee reacted to Kane99 in Can you enjoy a game without being crazy about its gameplay?
I think you can enjoy games while not enjoying the controls. Does anyone remember the Wolverine game that came out on the 360/ps3? The one where you play as Wolverine and his skin starts to show damage. I remember being a bit annoyed about some of the controls, but overall I had a fun time with that game. I stopped playing during this car segment you have to be precise on, and I just gave up on it. But yeah, that game had some stiff controls if I remember correctly.

Boblee got a reaction from Withywarlock in If you’ve worked in gaming, did your job change how you approached playing?
I actually had to go and check out the video game trailer of poop slinger and it was actually one funny video game because I can imagine how the poop is going to be smelling when you have it splashed on people.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has been an online game that I have been playing for a while now over the past month and it's quite interesting.

Boblee reacted to Withywarlock in Do completionist tendencies ever compel you to do things you hate in games?
I suppose it comes with the territory, but then it also begs the question for another, much bigger discussion: what makes someone a completionist? Is it on a per-game basis, or is there a measure of what makes a person a completionist, and to what extent will someone go to 'complete' something?
To give you some examples of when I'd done something for completion's sakes, my favourite game of 2020 was Vakyria Chronicles. I used a cheat engine on the third or so mission because I found the game too tough, but the story, music, and art style to be so impressive. I then decided to use the cheat engine to get all of the content done, including non-achievement stuff which I only wanted initially. It's a game I will forever kick myself for cheating at, but the guilt is bittersweet because I enjoyed the game so much that it was worth every minute.
Another time I did something for completion's sake was Insane in the Membrane in World of Warcraft. I wrote all about that on this here forum, so no need to repeat too much of that. But I found a love for something I previously never saw any sense in, and now lament that there's no more reasonable grind in the game.

What I really pray for in the game is for it not to be killed with microtransactions and loot boxes.

That's just the NES, SNES, and N64 games. I don't have any of my PlayStation games down there or any of my Xbox games down there. I don't have my Sega, Atari, or Game Boy games down there. I know one bin says Game Boy on it, but that's just accessories. All my Switch games are in a case, most of which are DDL's. As a matter of fact I have 116 DDL's on my Switch. But I have in total over 1000 games in my collection, spanning several systems. Some that are somewhat rare like Ducktales 2 and TMNT Tournament Fighters on NES. I also have Secret Of Mana on SNES. I'm saving what up and plan on getting a quality authentic copy of Little Samson when I can afford it. If I ever decide I want to play it, I'll get a repro.
It's been steadily growing over the last 20 or so years. But needless to say, my collection is enormous.

Boblee reacted to Jutsun in Do you prefer games where health, etc. regenerates, or not?
I think it's something that really depends on the type of game, and both systems can work well depending on the situation. Regenerating health doesn't necessarily mean that the game is easier and I feel that it can make combat more dynamic at times, but having to heal also adds some thrill to it, especially when you have to manage resources.

That is actually true because the more you get to play a particular game for a very long time you are always going to get more into it than the other games that you don't play for too long.

Using cars to chase balls and using legs to chase ball aren't the same at all. The control of the ball with cars is definitely going to be more difficult with do.

It's a useless Easter egg if you ask me because there is no importance attached to it in the game at all.
