  1. Haha damn sounds like something a woman would ask me on a first date. I'm 36 years young, what about you, i've always wondered where you are from @Head_Hunter why don't you open up a thread so i can ask it 😉? I woulden't mind telling how much i earn in a month but i don't think it would be wise to tell that on a public forum.
  2. I'm a baker well atleast that's what diploma says, i work at a local bakery that is about a mile away from where i live. Have been ever since i graduated bakery school. My boss and i are like family so that's why i have been there for so long i guess. The bad side my boss and his wife are coming of age and will retire by by the end of the year and since there is no follow up so i'll have to search for another job. But I've already got an offer that i agreed to from a flour company to become one of their "test" bakers, which would be meanly testing out various batches of flour, or if local bakers have a problem with any of said company their products i would need to solve them. It will be weird to move to another job but i'm exited for it and start a new chapter in my life. I live in the kingdom of Belgium, in a village called Nazareth it's like 15 minutes away from ghent and about a little over an hour away from Brussels well if your lucky and not get stuck in traffic. Life is quite good here, where a little under 12 k people live, it's a mostly rural village like when i step outside the house this is the view in my backyeard that i have :
  3. @kingpotato Just wondering have you ever heard of a game called slay the spire, it's supposed to be a card/deck building, rogue like hybrid? I know you like card games so maybe you have heard of it, it's on ps4/xbox one/pc and probably switch aswell. Ign gave it a 9/10 so it must be good, i've been eying it for a while now so i'll probably pick up a copy next time i see it on sale somewhere.
  4. Thanks Heatman for the questions : 1) The avatar you mean, there is no real reason behind it as it's just something i found online a couple of years ago and i stuck with it ever since. 2) Losing 7-1 to my girlfriend her 10 year old son in fifa 21 kinda hurted my pride, especially when i was out for revenge afterwards and again i lost again with another couple of heavy defeats but all in all we had fun. 3) One thing i've learned over the years is that there is always somebody better then me in pretty much everithing and to be honest I've never been one to cheat but as far as it counts, One time i got so pissed that i was losing in halo split screen as they all ganged up on me that i just pulled the power cord from the console and that was the end of it in turn i kicked all my buddies out.
  5. Pretty much any gaming experience can be educational but you just don't know or realise it, have you ever wondered about the following : -> Is playing racing games on a regulair basis making you a better driver in real life? -> Is playing a puzzle game going to help you finding more logical solutions to a problem? -> Is playing a management game going to help somebody should they you ever start a business or have one? -> Is playing a game full of moral choices going to help you make tough choices in real life more easier? -> Is a building game ala minecraft benefitual for somebody's creativity?
  6. I'm currently wrapping up Road 96.
  7. @Shagger Would it be possible that you rename this thread in something like the global fifa or fifa discussion thread or something simulair, i'm just suggesting as it would be ideal for people to talk about their memories about fifa or just as the fifa series as a whole? I'm sure the original poster won't mind. Maybe fifa won't be brought as much in other threads anymore, where it doesen't belong. It's clear not too many people have played fifa 99, the only thing i can remember about it is that Dennis bergkamp was on the cover and that's about it. The game was released like what late 1998 that's a long ass time ago some people that post here weren't even born yet (and i probably had zero idea how babies were even made)
  8. 1) Favourite anime -> Hands down Fist of the north star gotta respect them classics 2)Damn that's a tough question, i've been breaking my head about this the entire day. As for worlds i want to live in either in : -> The pokemon universe would be my top pick, even as a background character i would be able train pokemon, not only that but world seems so peacefull, no war or nothing. -> Initial D -> Nobody seems to give a fuck about anything other then cars, drifting and whatnot. Yeah i can see myself living in this world, i'd probably be the dude driving around a subura impreza wrx like an old man. Worlds i don't want to live in : -> You could name pretty much any anime because there is always something off about the world as a whole. think I'll go with attack on titan as background character you're bound to die anyway. 3) Favourite video game, man i'm i only able to choose one : From a nostalgic point of view probably Fantasy star 4 or super street fighter 2, i'll leave the choice in your hands green ranger pick what you like.
  9. I've travelled all over the place, i spent 6 months travelling japan with my then girlfriend, we also travelled taiwan and southern parts of china which was awesome to say the least. I went to japan again a few times just as a tourist (and to buy videogames offcourse) over the years but nothing like those 6 months. I've probably been to most of the countries one way or the other in europe, last year i spent a month with my parents rv together with my dad of all people travelling trough europe and trust me you can do a lot of countries in a months time. Mostly Balkan states, hungary, it was awesome. I haven't always been on good terms with my parents but that has since changed a lot over the years, when getting older i realise that maybe i wasen't always the easiest person to deal with. Countries i really want to go are scandinavia, ireland and why not scotland aswell. If money and time woulden't be an issue i woulden't mind travelling across the usa aswell, but that is maybe something for when i'm able to retire. I'm a simple man give me my backpack and whatever else i need to hike as there are so many beautiful multiday trails in europe that i would like to do at some point in my life. This year in early august i'm travelling to iceland for 2 weeks and we will do the 2 most famous hikes there, it's the first time i'm going together on a trip with my "new" girlfriend so that will be another challenge in itself haha.
  10. Not really a huge fan of making my own thread as i find it you know weird. But since i've been asking questions to other posters and i've got a lot more coming it only seems fair i make my own thread as i feel like we should keep this section alive. So if you want to ask/roast/call me an idot or anthing else really go ahead.
  11. I'll disagree on that, I still play my 360 and ps3 all the time and i'm not the only one who does that, so that doesen't mean microsoft or sony should dich the little support of their old consoles as there is still a community that plays these console often, the good thing is that atleast they keep up their respective stores online for now which is a good thing if only for game preservation. How many digital only titles and dlc for that matter would dissapear forever when they decide to pull the plug on both stores. I know most of you don't care about that and just want to play the latest games and you know there is nothing wrong with that but try to see it from the other angle aswell. You could pretty much say the ps4 and xbox one is also outdated because it's base models are 9 year old hardware which is in technology terms acient. I just got a 320gb slim ps3 and while the installation was a nightmare and toke almost 8 hours, i played quite a few hours of gran turismo 6 and you know that game looks better then a lot of ps4 games, same with forza 4 it's still the best in the series if you ask me and still looks great, if you ask me it's still worth keeping these consoles around if you like those games. You of all people should know because you've used a ps3 probably longer then most of us, imo there are still plenty of games to discover that are worth playing today. As for myself i missed out on a ton of ps3 exclusives that are imo still worth playing today.
  12. That's so cool shagger, I used to be into death/black/trash/doom metal you know the whole extreme metal thing bands like obituary, morbid angel, death, immortal, dark funeral, kreator, vader, napalm death, early cathedral etc when i was a teen till my early 20ies, after that i started to get softer and softer haha. As for the more melodic side of metal i always had a soft spot for Tristania and offcourse type o negative, paradise lost, anathema, etc Do you still go to concerts often?
  13. Kinda suprised you're into nightwish, i always assumed you were more of the Oasis type of guy. Any other bands in the same vain you dig?
  14. Couple i can think off : Assasins creed black flag : pretty obvious and likely boring choice but wait let's massage my brain and see if i can think of a couple more. Maneater : Kind of an underrated game where your play as a shark in an openworld, offcourse it's mostly underwater but you can still attack and eat people on the coast lines, had a lot of fun with this one. By the end of the game you're an unstoppable force, exellent game that would probably my top pick for this thread if you're looking to play a game that is just a blast to play. Another obvious answer would be ecco the dolphin. Bioshock games also have some interesting underwater sections from what i remember but it's been years since i played those games so my memory isen't all that great. Abzu would be an exellent choice aswell. other recent games i can remember that include underwater sections that were good : rayman legends and offcourse how can i forgot super Mario Odyssey, Seaside Kingdom section. I don't really know how far you want to go back into time but my favourite underwater section has to be Legend of zelda majora’s mask – great bay temple dungeon. Also from what i remember the underwater levels in the donkey kong country series were also top notch and how could i forgot super mario 64 Dire Dire Docks level. Don't know if this is the answer you're looking for? I usually hate underwater levels especially the ones in the crash bandicoot series and the first sonic games so it's a hard subject for me to come up with something good.
  15. @The Blackangel some questions for you if you want to answer them : Who in your oppinion is the biggest scumbag in the world that is currently alive? Let's just exclude poetin because that would be the obvious answer. Do you have any tatoos? If you were to sell your videogames collection, what would be the last thing you would hold onto? Do you have a favourite metal band/genre? Do you believe there is life somewhere outher then on earth? Any words of wisdom you can give me?
  16. Now that i've finally beaten the game and it's dlc, i've put about 70 hours into the game, i'm only missing the long live deadsec achievement, so if i played it on playstation instead of xbox i would have platinumed the game so i've got a decent idea what i'm talking about. -> London looks beautiful and at times you really feel like you're in london because the world is full of life, having visited london myself a couple of times i can finally relate to a location. The fact that i had a high ranking police officer on my time and people would thank me for keeping the streets safe is nice touch, aswell if you have a high ranking albion officer in your time, people start calling you out, i tought that was a nice touch worth mentioning -> The recruit anyone is on paper a nice idea and for the first few hours you play the game, it's also seems to work well, however the recruiting missions could have been a little more varied if you ask me, after stealing a car or inflirtrating the same building for the third time. it get's repetitive after a while. The recruiting anybody system is a double edged sword imo, On one hand is that the game is unique to everybody on the other hand you really don't get memorable characters like in watch dogs 2. -> Once i started playing it was hard to put the game down, let's try and grab another tech point, maybe i should do another side missions or recruit somebody new, before you know it you're a couple of hours later without even knowing. -> The story is typical Ubisoft stuff, not bad but not great either, i don't think the vilians weren't even all that bad some of their ideas weren't even half bad if you ask me exept for the kelly leader bitch had to die, just to give an example there was a woman were you had to choose to let here live or shut off a machine, no matter what you choose you'll have the same outcome anyway then why even let me choose in the first place. The fact i meanly divided missions between several characters was also a nice change of pace. -> The voiceacting of the characters let's just say they are terrible, i had a woman on my team that had an indian accent and a guy who had a russian accent but damn that must be some of the worst voice acting i've heard in quite a while. Also the dialogue when you recruit somebody i don't know what drug they were on but is must be good stuff. One thing i missed aswell was interaction between fellow deadsec members sometimes you encounter one in london, why is there no interaction between the two, like why did they just pass me instead of maybe saying Hi or greeting me. -> Gameplay wise is the strongest point of the game because it's awesome, stealth is still king and your robot spider is probably your best friend and you know once you can hack drones, nothing beats taking over a couple of drones and shooting up the place but as previously mentioned more upgrades could have been integrated into the game. -> I played with permadeath on, on the default difficulty while i had a few officers die early in the game, like with any ubisoft game once you have a couple of upgrades the game becomes easier over time, i don't think i had anybody die when i was halfway trough the game. ->Let's talk about the dlc last, it's not worth 40 bucks i only paid 20 for it but it's still pushing it. Unless you really want to play as wrench or aiden in the main game, While the bloodline story was good it's not earth shattering and brings nothing new to the table, no new part of london for you to explore either, i don't know if the assasin darcy was dlc or not, she was a likeable character enough, maybe they could bring here back in future installments of assasins creed. Lastly should you buy the game, i'm going to say if you like ubisoft games or open world games this is definatly something you should look into, especially since the game can be had under 20 bucks, i paid like 18 euros for it, the amount of hours you can poor into the game is good value for money.
  17. @Shagger here is a few i have for you? If you are forced to choose only one videogame and have to play it for the rest of your life, what would it be? Let's say you are on a deserted island and can take one item with you which one and maybe tell us why? Say you have to leave scotland with your family what would you miss the most? Did you ever wore a Kilt? If you could choose a job at one videogamedeveloper or publisher who would it be? Say i visit scotland what would something that would be a must to visit?
  18. Alright @kingpotato shit i've been meaning to ask let's just start with these 5 for now? Who is your favourite villian in the might morphin power ranger series? Also do you have a favourite Monster? Who did you marry in Skyrim? Also who do you prefer Aela the Huntress or Mjoll the Lioness? What's your favourite beer? Cooked potatoes or deep fried? Favourite sport if any?
  19. Obvious answer would be assasins creed since everithing historic is neatly explained in a database well in the first few games. Not really sure how many people bothered with this but in the first few games i learned quite a bit about the italian renaissance ( that i forgot mostly in the maintime ) Gran turismo always did a great job in telling car history, as far as game it's also a car encyclopedia. Maybe a more obscure one but both Endless ocean games on the wii, while gameplay wise there isen't a whole lot to it, you can explore the depts of the sea at your own pace as it simulates fish and other sea life accuratly, once you discover a new life form you can learn more about the fish you just discovered, i'm not sure how many people even played this but from what i remember it's quite a relaxing experience. But anyways you could pretty much list any game here that has deep choices to make and will make you think twice before you take action. Maybe not as educational as one thinks but imo some moral choices learn from them and take with you in real life.
  20. Drank way too much beer last night and that combined with vgr clearly is not a good idea, that's another valuable lesson learned in life.
  21. Green ranger don't you remember Lady blackangel who crashed the party late, her dog ate my Gba so no more gba for me for a while. Also shagman gave my xbox whisky instead of water did you know the damn thing won't turn out anymore unless i give it some alcohol man all of you guys really want me to over to playstation not going to happen even with a console that drinks more then me. some of my motogp games went missing, do you have any idea who could be the culprit. If you have zero clue what is going on I'm just having a stab at some fellow posters, don't take it personally feel free to roast me if you feel to need to or are offended because sometimes you need to have a laugh even with yourself.
  22. I'll go ahead and fire on the bbq green ranger so we can start the roasting you better like your steak well done because goldar is behind the bbq and he doesen't have a clue how the damn thing works, i've also invited lord zedd and rita repulsa sadly they already ate all the potatoes but they already left whilest bickering with each other, nothing new i guess. Well what you know i just got my ass kicked by the pink ranger because i kept staring for too long damn woman hits hard lost a couple of teeth in the process, no steak for me today damnit. I doubt i'm worthy enough to have my own thread besides what would you even ask?
  23. Just wondering since their hasn't been posted in that section but is the as ask the community section stil active, maybe we should give it some fresh life? I kind of want to roast some members by asking some burning question (you better be prepared : green ranger, king of the crabs, blackangel, shagman and offcourse the bigbossman dc 😈 ) I'm talking about this section of the forum?
  24. Nothing last forever, who knows how long twitch will be around, for all we know something new comes around the corner and makes twitch irrelevant? People change and also their interests, a twitch streamer may have a big audience now but as those people get older their interest may change and they move on to something else. I also doubt many younger people would want to watch a middle aged dude/woman playing videogames but maybe i am in the wrong on this one. Like i said before i've never seen the appeal to watch somebody play videogames when i can play them myself.
  25. Yes but mostly out of respect for the people who made the game.
