  1. I'm a simple person when it comes to puzzle games so i'm gonna say tetris is my favourite puzzle. Puyo puyo being a close second.
  2. I don't really have too much spare time these days but when i do -Offcourse playing videogames something i try to do on a daily basis. I also like to read books or watch youtube videos about videogame history. - Collecting (japanese region) videogames is my main hobby and where i blow most of my spare money on, have been collecting since the early 2000's and i don't see myself stopping anytime soon, i do however feel like i need to start downsize somewhat to have it more streamlined. - Hiking is my other main hobby, i always liked hiking but never tought about it as a hobby until a few years ago. It's quite relaxing to hike 10-15 miles in the middle of nowhere on a sunny saturday afternoon and come home exausted. To put it simple hiking makes me happy and always puts me in a good mood. Sometimes i go out alone, sometimes with some other folks, made quite a few friends over the years trough hiking still the beauty of it is, you don't need to bother anybody else perse to go out and hike.
  3. After finishing up watch dogs 2,i dove straight in to watch dogs legion and see for myself if the play as anyone is not just a gimmick. So far it isen't, the map is kind of overwhelming as per ubisoft traditions, graphics seem to have improved a lot compared to the second game, london looks amazing. Let's see how it develops as i get further into the game. Season pass is currently 50% off, should i grab it or not, is it worth spending 20 bucks on, anyone who can tell me?
  4. Lol, yeah yeah i got owned a couple of times this week so one more isn't going to hurt my feelings. Yep that's correct those are the 3 official languages (however since we're becoming more and more multicultural people speak whatever they want. Well we speak flamish, which is the same as duch but more of regional dialect then anything, kind of a bastard version of what they speak in holland. Nice eems like we're posting from all over the world! I wouldn't call myself fluent in english but i try my best. Most of my english was self taught over the years i did get some in school in later years but a whole lot, you would be suprised how watching movies/ playing games with subtitles can benefit you in getting better at a language.
  5. Like i said before it's from auto modellista. Also i hear you mentioning you like wrc 8 on the switch, one game i recommend you should keep on eye out is V-rally 4, i don't know how it performs on the switch but it's from the same people behind the wrc series, just with a little more variety in the racing departement. You never hear people talking about it so that's why i bring it up, kind of under rated game imo that deserves more attention, i'm sure you can buy it on the cheap since it's been a few years old.
  6. I picked up the game of the year version of dirt rally 2.0 for 20 bucks a few weeks ago, kind of looking forward to try it out as i haven't played a rally game for quite some time now, so i'm looking forward to it, let's just hope it's not as brutal as the first game, because my god that was like the dark souls game of racing games even on the easiest difficulty with all the assist on it was tough as nails.

    Burnout

I haven't played a burnout game in years so there's not much i can add that isen't already said, i did enjoy burnout paradise when it first came out unlike some of you. I bought the remake for cheap a few years ago but never really got around playing that version, doubt i'll get around to it anytime soon. Since my favourite in the series hasen't been mentioned yet i'll do the honours and say that burnout legends on the psp is the best in the franchise, if you have a psp laying around you owe it to yourself to buy a copy and play it as It's pretty much a best off from the first 3 games crammed into one game.
  8. I think this video explains it way better then i ever could, so if you've got 10 minutes to spare check it out :
  9. I've considered many things, giving up gaming was not one of them. Why are you attacking me, since I think you misunderstood me, try saying when you're 16 in the early 2000's that you are into pokemon, people would have laughed straight at you and tell you to grow the fuck up. Times have changed for the better since geek culture is generally accepted by society, back then it wasen't and yes I did care about what people tought of me when i was a teen, because i was afraid of getting bullied at school. Now i just don't give a fuck what people think of me and do my own thing.
  10. If there is one thing belgians are good at it's drinking beer, myself include offcourse. Needless to say Belgian beer is probably the best in the world! Don't know how hard it is to get these in other countries but they are fairly well know worldwide, if you have the chance check them out, you will not regret it. My top 3 : DUVEL : Tripel Karmeliet : Westmalle tripel : And my favourite regulair beer : Stella artois :
  11. Yeah but what country in africa do you live in, like for real i know africa has countries so how about that Or do you want me to guess in what country you live? I live somewhere in belgium and if you diden't know it's located between (well it's more sandwiched) france/germany/ holland and luxembourg.
  12. Yeah english is not my main language either while i try my best it's not without grammar mistakes, since i feel like it's something i have to keep up on a daily basis with either writing or speaking, vgr helps me with that so that's a good thing. When i'm not sure i usually just google the word i have in mind to spell it correctly. I'm just quoting you two, where are guys your from anyway? i know @Justin11 mentioned he lives in africa but what country exactly? And you @Head_Hunter what country are you from?
  13. Hmm, what more is there to tell john and arthur their respective stories have been told, can't really see what more they could possible add more to the red dead universe. Offcourse we know sadie and what became of her after rdr 2 (just trying to avoid spoilers) imo she would make one hell of protaganist and charles went up "north" so what became of him we don't know for sure. Maybe rockstar should put us into the shoes of a sheriff, i mean why not, would be a nice change. What are your thoughts boblee, are you thinking of something else?
  14. Speaking from nostalgia i'd say tekken 3 was the highlight of the series but is it the best tekken game eh i prefer tekken tag tournament 2 to be honest, for easy going i'd suggest to just try Tekken 7 if you come across it cheap.
  15. The only problem i have with RDR 2 Is the lack of single player expansions when you finish the game you just want more, rockstar could have atleast add another whole story into the world of rdr 2 that takes place after the game with either charles or sadie or why not both as playable characters, you know something similair to what they did with gta 4 dlc.
  16. Lol, i'm not a fan of anything, sure i may pick xbox over playstation any day of the week but does that make me a fanboy if you think i am so be it, it's that i'm not going to lose sleep over it. Well despising a company i woulden't go that far sure I find sony fairly arrogant and they think they can get away with pretty anything but that's all the bad you hear from me. i most likely still buy more playstation games then most people anyway so what does it matter. Fan boyism is good for 15 year old kids who have zero clue what they are talking about but eh it's just plain stupid like either sony or microsoft give a shit what one persons thinks. My main reasons i stick with xbox is that i was around since the beginning i got the og xbox a day after lauch since i stayed a school during the week and only came home on friday for the weekends, my dad drove me to the nearest gaming store to pick it up, i only had money for one game and the console, but to my suprise my dad said eh you've got good grades at school and you suprised us in a good way, mom said you can pick up one more game. My parents were always pretty hard on me but very fair when i did good at school and that as a gamer is a memory that will last me a lifetime. March 15th 2002 Man now i feel like i need to talk about nintendo, Nintendo has always put a smile on my face, no matter how shitty my day went, when i play nintendo games i feel instantly happy and get a warm fussy feeling inside and that apart from sega any console manufactor failed to do so. Why i'm typing all this, i've got no idea guess i'm getting kinda used to posting useless long posts or i'm on a nostalgic rant again who knows. I don't even know it anymore. Either way cheers to you Blackangel
  17. If i speak from nostalgia i have to say super monaco gp one and two on the sega megadrive/genesis. I still try to play trough the second game atleast once a year. Can't really say i have one favourite series but if i have to choose probably going to pick forza motorsport, the 4th being the highlight of the series. Maybe that changes if they release forza 8 this year or the next let's hope it does. I always had a lot of fun with the test drive unlimited series, they were cringy at best and the handling of the care were quite awfull but it did so much things that were new at the time nobody really cared about that. Sure i have nothing agains gran turismo and i had put many hours into the series but i feel like the series has been in a downward spiral after the 4th entry. GT 6 was quite good but nobody played that since by the time it got released, the ps4 was already out and people already moved on. GT7 With the recent micro transaction bullshit i don't know man, going to keep my hands away from that game for quit a while.
  18. I never was hugely into pokemon, by the time it became really populair i've already hit an age where you were supposed to be acting more mature instead of being a kid, let alone playing pokemon video games. I'm not gonna rank the gens but to me the original 151 pokemon are still the best. What was it called ah yes Scyther being my favourite amongst the bunch.
  19. Alright 300 posts, let's do this is how 300 xbone games on the floor look like one for each posts, you always see these big ps4 collections, but never xbox one/series x collections, well maybe that's for a reason but you know. I probably have another 50 orso more games but that's not really the point, but i doubt i'll get to 400 games when i may hit 400 posts, so guess i'll have to come up with something else :
  20. I think that picture is from auto modellista and not gran turismo. Maybe justin11 chucked it in to test our racing game knowledge, i don't know (ain't gonna fool me boy 😉)
  21. Dude, as a straight male it's normal to like women isen't it? My career isen't posting on vgr.com, it's just something i happen to do in my spare time, which clearly some of you have way too much of. Now let's get this back on the subject because i can already see shagger shaking his head in disbelief on how offtopic we're going. I can't really say if it's a statue or not, but it would be more appropriate for a doom or black metal album cover.
  22. Hmm i don't know to be honest it kinda represents what i'm into -> Japanese video games, women and anime are all combined in that avatar and no i can't remember where i got it from haha. True that, beauty is on the inside.
  23. I just beat watch dogs 2 must admit it suprised me in a good way, only negative i can point out it's at times a little to hipster for my taste. Kind of want to get the season pass but it's 40 bucks like over my dead body i ain't going to pay that much for it.
  24. Time for one more i always like bringing this game up, because it's the last game in what once was a legendary series. So it's time for some nostalgia. Import Tuner Challenge / Shutokou Battle X (2006 Xbox 360) First thing i need to get out of the way this is not a need for speed underground clone, the Shutokou Battle series has been around since 1994. If you don't know what i'm talking about maybe tokyo extreme racer or tokyo highway challenge may ring a bell. There is also street supremacy on the psp which is exellent that is also part of this series. Several different publishers published the games hence the different names. Also why they diden't went with the japanese cover is beyond me as it looks so much better. And here we are released in 2006 and published by ubisoft, yep back in the day ubisoft were willing to take a chance on something risky, they weren't afraid to release a few stinkers here and there. Is import tuner challenge a stinker, i'm going to say no it's not, is it a good game well that's up for debate. The game is your standard affair you start with a beginner car and beat rivals in turn you earn money to upgrade your car. Their is a story but all in all it's forgettable. The main objection is to beat all the racers in a gang and then take on their leader and if you win, you get their car. You drive around tokyo's various highways challenging various racers, earning some money upgrading your car rince and repeat for most people that sounds boring and i'll admit it is. Let's start with the good stuff import tuner challenge has by far the best car customization i have ever seen in a racing game, literally anything can be changed and upgraded towards different levels. The car selection is jdm cars only but that's not a bad thing imo, all the tuning parts are real licensed from various brands, you can put stickers on your car to make it look unique but eh why should you do that. Gameplay wise i had to replay it a bit since it's been so long, the driving is just not fun anymore, you can beat the ai so easy, even if they have the faster car you can just block them the entire "race". You win when you're opponent is a certain distance behind. Graphics i can look past it it's a 16 year old game after all but it sure as hell hasen't aged very well. The environment look bland and uninspired, there isen't a whole lot of traffic and you race always in the dark. Why do i bring this game up, i had a lot of fun with import tuner challenge when it first came out, was it a good game when it released maybe not, is it bad game i'll say i've played worse. I just wanted to highlight the last game released in a once great series, it probably diden't help that it was 360 only and by 2006 a lot of the once populair tuning scene was in serious decline. It also marked the end of smaller racing game series, because let's face it it's just gran turismo, forza, grid, dirt whatever licensed game like f1/wrc these days there is no more room for niche racing games in todays market. Should you go grab this, maybe if you see it a flea market orso for a few bucks pick it up and put it out if it's mysery. Otherwise no it sells for quite a bit of money on ebay. The japanese version is quite sought after aswell i've seen it going near the 100$ mark, no before you ask i did not pay that much.
  25. I've been using the same avatar for like what over 15 years now maybe it's time to chance it up a bit i'm open to suggestions and Trust me you don't want to see my ugly mug every time i make a post 😉
