  1. This is so bad it's cringe. It's funny, these people think that the left are snowflakes but then they get upset when they're "freedom of speech" is "taken away" when they post controversial posts about harming other human beings on a platform that has guidelines and rules that everyone needs to follow. I know social media moderation can be a joke at times though... They get so upset that they make a video game that depicts harming minorities because they know they can't do this in real life without getting arrested.
  2. Honestly I'm not a fan of paid modders myself. As someone who hacks the 8-bit Sonic games and have done some work for people in the past, any time they offered to give me some money I would decline. I wouldn't want to make money off of someone else's work and I don't think its a good idea to charge people to get these mods. I agree with Shagger on this one, it's okay to support modders by donating money to their Patreon or other platforms.
  3. I knew that in Korea, the Genesis/Mega Drive was called the Super Gamboy and the Sega Master System was called the Gamboy. They were both distributed by Samsung, I had no clue about the fact that there were NES consoles rebranded and sold in other countries. However, these NES clones are probably not even official and are just bootlegs, but the Korean sega consoles were official.
  4. I wish we got a sequel to Hit and Run too! It's a shame this never seen the light of day, at this point though I would love a remaster or remake of the first game. Will it ever happen I wonder... I suppose since we've been getting a lot of remasters lately it's only a mater of time. Makes me wonder if there's a prototype of the sequel, if it even made it that far.
  5. Of course exclusives are the first things I look for, but other than that if it's a game I really like and would want to play mods or even mod it, then I'll get the game on PC. Otherwise I'll just get the PS5 version since that's the only current gen console I own. (Other than the Switch of course.)
  6. Honestly I can see this happening to games too. This is why I believe that physical will always be the best option when it comes to owning games. I also like video game preservation, and games stuck on digital platforms in the future will be difficult to archive. Likewise when it comes to certain movies and shows, I like to have physical copies of the series or movie, you just never know when they'll be removed from certain streaming sites.
  7. I think it won't be as quick as when people dropped IV for V, since V has been active for over a decade at this point. Many people have invested in tons of time and money to the game, and probably will stick around a bit longer when VI drops. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if there's still a good dedicated playerbase for years to come until Rockstar decides to pull the plug on V's servers. They know it'll still bring in good money, which is why they waited so long to actually reveal VI.
  8. I've never had issues with my phone getting too hot that it warns me. My phone does get quite warm if I end up playing Pokemon Go for a while. Though it's not the most taxing game you can play on mobile, which is probably why it only gets somewhat hot if I play for maybe a couple hours straight.
  9. You'll definitely need to upgrade to a SSD for gaming in the future, if not now. Thankfully SSDs have gone down in price recently, and you might even be able to pick one up for pretty cheap with it being the Holidays. Many stores have deals going on right now, it's best to take advantage of them. If not, wait until tax season if you live in the US since many stores will also have good sales during this time since they know people will be spending their tax refunds on goods.
  10. I think the only reason why I'd get a folding smartphone is to emulate DS/3DS games and that's it. I just don't get the appeal of having a smartphone that folds, my spouse knew someone who had one and you can see where the two screens meet together when it's open. That would drive me insane lol.
  11. There's a few things I really want this Christmas. They are a elgato capture card so I can record footage off my retro consoles, a microphone, a beginners soldering kit that allows you to make an alarm clock, a desoldering gun, and some cell batteries so I can replace the save batteries in my generation 2 Pokemon games. I also need solder too since the solder I have is old and I don't think it'll work anymore.
  12. I hope you're not suffering from long term Covid. I got it last year and it was the worse I have ever felt. I got a bad cough that wouldn't go away, then the next day I just felt like garbage. I got the chills really bad, mind you it was July and super humid and hot outside but I was super cold and got bundled up in my comforter. I missed out on Holiday pay at work too since it was the weekend of the 4th of July that I got sick and couldn't return to work that following Monday.
  13. I would love to learn ever language, you'd be able to visit literally any country you'd wish without having to worry about a language barrier, plus it'll open up good career opportunities too. It'd be cool to learn to play ever instrument, but I can imagine it would be more difficult in this day and age to become a musician rather than getting a job as a translator.
  14. Yes I do, I play the game daily. I at the very least will catch a Pokemon every day to keep my catching streak going, I'll also send gifts to my friends as well. I want to go out more and play though, there's a event going on that you can earn a incubator whenever you first visit a Pokestop and spin it. I love Pokemon though, it's my second favorite gaming franchise.
  15. Horror films are my favorite genre of movies. A few of my favorites are Pet Sematary (1989), Hereditary, Mid Sommar, Smile, The Boogeyman, and The Babadook. There's many others I enjoy of course like A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, and Hellraiser but the ones listed above are on my top list of favorite horror films.
  16. I don't listen to Christmas music unless I'm decorating the house or on Christmas day so I haven't listened to it yet. Though there was a day back in October where one of my coworkers turned on a Christmas music station, thankfully it wasn't on long lol. I don't care for Christmas music as much as I used to as a kid, since I used to work in retail and would have to hear it way too much.
  17. I would love to see a new Clock Tower game, with the same style that Clock Tower 3 had. I know CT fans either love or hate the third installment, it's completely different from the other games in the series since it's not a point and click game. Or heck, Timesplitters Future Perfect had a few campaigns that reminded me of horror games that actually freaked me out, if a new Timesplitters game came out and it was a horror game I think it could work.
  18. I've kept all my old phones except for my very first phone which was a Samsung Glide. I didn't get a iPhone until 2018, but I still own my first iPhone which was a iPhone SE. It still works just fine, I just wanted to have a bigger phone so I switched to the iPhone 7S and now I've got a XR. I also have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and S7, the S2 doesn't power on at all anymore nor does it charge so it's dead. The S7 still works but the battery drains fast and the phone runs slow.
  19. I honestly haven't even started Christmas shopping yet. I'm bad about this, I tend to wait until the last minute to buy gifts and hope they come in just in time for Christmas. My spouse doesn't really want much from me though, so it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out what to get them. My father in law is a pain to shop for though, but my mother in law isn't.
  20. Honestly it doesn't really bother me too much. The main reason why it falls behind the PS5 and Switch has to be Game Pass Ultimate. You can play pretty much any Xbox game on a PC if you have a decent setup. There's not really any exclusives anymore for the Series X/S, which is another thing that's been hurting the sales of Xbox consoles. I doubt Microsoft will ever address this though, they just see these subscriptions as more ways to get money from people. It makes me wonder if after this generation will the Xbox stop being produced? If Microsoft sees the sales for consoles vs. Game Pass subscriptions and sees that they're making more money from subscriptions surely they could stop making Xbox consoles in the future right?
  21. Most of the country music I enjoy listening to is country from the 80's, 90's, and 00's. My favorite country artist for sure is Shania Twain, I can listen to her stuff over and over again. She's one of my guilty pleasure artists. I also enjoy some songs from Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks.
  22. I like some KPop but my spouse is more into the genre. They love BTS and Suga is their bias, so I have to hear some of their songs often. I do like Butter, it's a catchy song. I like some of Jungkook's solo music, and I liked one song from the band 2NE1. I never liked Psy's music though, couldn't stand Gangnam Style at all and think it's the worse song in existence lol. I also like a few songs from the band Tomorrow X Together (or TXT for short.)
  23. Wait there's a new Goosebumps series? I used to watch the original show when I was a kid and I loved it as much as I loved "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" There were some moments watching the original that scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. xD
  24. I feel like The Last Of Us is becoming more like Resident Evil 4 at this point lol. Well seeing how I never actually got around to playing the two games, perhaps I'll finally pick up the PS5 editions and play the definitive versions of the games. I suppose it somewhat makes sense since the show is currently airing and that's the perfect time to bring the games back in the limelight to get those who have watched the show to play the games if they haven't done so yet.
  25. I can't really say that my favorite game of all time has changed. I love Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and no other 2D platformer has really done anything better than Sonic 3 and Knuckles has in my opinion. Sure Sonic Mania exists, but most of the levels are from previous games and even though these levels are better than their original counterparts it really needed new levels all together to make it better. Would it have taken the spot as my favorite game of all time? Maybe, though some of the audio design choices sucked. (I'm tired of hearing that goofy Sonic 3 alone 1 up jingle that has been used in most of the newer 2D Sonic titles.)
