  1. That's bullshit. Did they just not like you, or had you been pulling some shady shit?
  2. Public school has always lacked all quality, value, and/or worth. There needs to be a complete overhaul of the entire system. Teachers have their favorites, and don't give half a fuck about the other students. None of the faculty cares about bullying. Teachers go out of their way to be especially cruel to one hand picked student. When that student fights back it's a national tragedy. Everyone's asking "Where were the parents?" and blaming people like Marilyn Manson, or movies like Terminator, or games like GTA. They refuse to look at the big picture and accept what the real mother fucking problem is.
  3. They at least need to do something about the Madden curse. Which would mean STOP PUTTING ATHLETES ON THE FUCKING COVER.
  4. Rose Red has met video games. This one can fuck with the mind big time. And that's why I love it.
  5. If you're talking to me there, then yes, you're right. My first system was the Colecovision. The Atari 2600 came out just a few years before I was born. I grew up on Atari 2600, Colecovision, and NES. All I played were late 70's or early-mid 80's games as a kid, because that's what I grew up with. And I remember the Atari 2600 being revolutionary in home entertainment. They laid the groundwork for video games, and kept the industry alive through the crash of '83.
  6. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........................
  7. A computer that folds, and can fit on my lap? No shit.
  8. Stress levels. I know this isn’t everyone, but it is a large number of gamers. Trying to obtain something, and repeatedly failing at whatever part in obtaining said desire. Anger and frustration starts to rise, thus inducing an elevated stress level. I know I have a major problem with video game rage. It’s part of the reason I stick to one player game mostly, and have entirely quit playing other games. Because I’m often just not a good choice as a gaming partner.
  9. I get like that with RDR2 more often than I would like. Sometimes I’m enjoying the storyline, but a lot of the time I’m working on stranger missions, or things for camp, or something for myself and leaving the storyline for later. For example, the first two things I go for once we get out of the mountains and into chapter 2 (not a spoiler it’s required quickly) is the white Arabian, and the Legend Of The East satchel. Best horse in the game, and best satchel. Neither is particularly easy to get, but more than worth it. Catching, breaking, and taming a wild horse never is.
  10. I’ve tried online gaming several times with several different games. I’ve always hated it. The closest I ever enjoyed was playing Soul Calibur II at the arcade on campus. The machine ranked its top 100 players and I was ranked 6th. In a town with 3 major colleges that add 60k-80k people with 110k permanent residents, that was no small feat. I knew how to use Kilik, and I knew how to use him well.
  11. Spell caster. I suck with magic. Physical attacks and long range bow attacks however, I’m deadly. I’m a deadeye IRL, so that helps. If I have a sword or bow, that leaves you two options. Do you want strategically placed holes in your body, or a dismembered corpse?
  12. It depends on what I’m playing. Most of the time I don’t care, but if I’m trying to escape the universe, then I don’t want to even know other people exist.
  13. We were never assigned any games, but the library had 2 that were really popular. Operation Weather Disaster and Skytrip USA. It was a complete crapshoot on whether anyone got lucky enough to get to play either as they were almost always taken. That was when PC games required the disc to be in the drive to run. OWD was always my favorite.
  14. I would love it. I have a fairly simple brain when it comes to gaming. I’m a million times better at games that send you from point A to B to C to D etc. A little exploration is fine, but a world so open, that it actually takes away from the enjoyment of the game is a serious issue. Then again, too linear is just as big an issue. Zelda OoT was mostly linear with a little bit of side quests. BigGoron Sword, Epona, gold skulltulas, weapon capacity upgrades. Then try RDR2 and everything is on steroids. It’s at times too much. There are so many options for what to do next if you want to move the game forward, that it will easily be overwhelming to someone new to the game. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
  15. The closest I can think of is the FF8 remaster. A great game getting a facelift. It makes a hell of a difference.
  16. It doesn’t make any god damn sense to do the milk first. You won’t get hardly any cereal in the fucking bowl.
  17. Yeah, and so does rabbit fur, camel sperm, and whale shit. But the cheese MUST be made with orangutan milk.
  18. I don’t think anyone here is stupid enough to buy from a scalper. But in the event that someone IS, then I have no sympathy for them when they have to choose between rent and food because they spent $1000 on a $400 PlayStation.
  19. I still have and buy CD’s as well. I currently have more than $1500 worth of CD’s and listen to them whenever I’m driving. But whenever I get a new CD the first thing I do is rip it. And I’m always burning mixes so I have a shitload of burned discs around here, and a hell of a lot of blanks left. CD-R’s and CD-RW’s both. Also my disc drive is a blu-ray RW as well.
  20. Bubble Bobble and Dig Dug would be interesting. Q*Bert and Asteroids would be a couple other great additions.
  21. Nowadays I don’t really see a way it could be integrated into education unless more games like Mario Is Missing are made. There were a couple PC games when I was a kid that were fun as hell and educational. One was Skytrip USA, and the other was Operation Weather Disaster. OWD was so much fun to play, that none of us even realized that it was educational. If companies were willing to look in that direction, then gaming could have a future in the educational market. But all that matters now is the almighty dollar, so companies are going to stick with what they know will make them money. Just look at all the fuckups coming from EA for example.
  22. Mortal Kombat and Conker’s Bad Fur Day come to mind immediately for me. MK for the violence, and CBFD for the graphic content. Get the two of those mixed together in one kids mind, and it can’t get much more fucked up than that.
  23. The best thing about the PlayStation exclusives is definitely God Of War. Awesome game.
  24. Check Craigslist in your area. People are selling them for roughly $200 here, with games.
