  1. True, and when you have small fan based groups that make their own games, like the one I'm part of, it doesn't take a lot to do.
  2. The Antagonist is the character you play as in Hatred. That's the actual name the game gives him. It doesn't give him a typical name like John or Mike or whatever. He's just called The Antagonist.
  3. Meyna is the mother in Legacy Of The Wizard on NES. She has the ability to use any magical item to aid her on her part of the quest for the 4 crowns, and also has the ability to fly. She isn't the strongest physically, but she is more or less the smartest. Sorry. It never occurred to me to explain who she is.
  4. In my home office I have a minifridge and cabinet right by my desk that I keep food and cold drinks in. I have my systems set up, and my computer all on my desk. I don't have to leave this room for a damn thing except to use the bathroom. And since all 8 of my rats are in here with me, I have company the whole time. Even though, with the exception of the girls (who all think they're actually monkeys), they tend to spend most of their time asleep.
  5. I picked up Photoshop yesterday, and I'm looking forward to learning my way around it. I've never used it before, so I don't have a clue what I'm doing. So I was wondering if anyone here has used it and can give me a few tips on it that may make my learning experience a bit easier to get me up to where I know what the hell I'm doing.
  6. Digital downloads are bigger than ever now. Granted, DDL was popular before the pandemic, but since COVID-19 hit, that seems to be the way EVERYONE is getting their games. I was never a fan of digital games because I thought that if something happened to the system, then I was screwed for all the games I had. So I always wanted physical copies. But even I have been going digital for a large part of my gaming purchases. But then there are also things like PlayStation Plus, and other online programs. So I think the ones most hard hit are the game stores such as GameStop, just like you mentioned. Which kinda sucks, because I always enjoyed browsing, and hitting the bargain bin. I've picked up some really sweet games for $2 several times.
  7. The last I knew, they don't use simulations at all. It's all firsthand. Aside from actually being shot at, you go through what you would/could in actual battle.
  8. I haven't played the first one. I kinda got hooked on RDR2. But it's on my bucket list. Well, my "gaming" bucket list that is.
  9. RDR2 goes almost entirely on the will of the gamer. You choose whether or not to participate in virtually everything, the only exceptions being events that are crucial to game advancement. But everything else, down to whether or not to kill a random that you just cross paths with and would never see again either way is entirely up to you. You deal with the results of either path entirely on your own. Personally, I kill anyone who gets an attitude with me.
  10. My thoughts exactly. Aside from the friend part.
  11. The game I absolutely hate the most is Tetris. Literally nothing happens or changes except the speed of which the god damn blocks fall as you go up through the "levels". There is no point or purpose in the game. You're not working towards any kind of goal, because there is no goal. You're just doing the same fucking thing over and over and over. No changes of any kind except block fall speed. I want to kill the asshole that even thought up the monstrosity. I won't even allow that disease in my house. There are no copies here, nor will there ever be. The closest thing in this house is Dr. Mario. There will never be a copy of that vomit inducing disease infested piece of shit on my property.
  12. My phone was just being a dick. It happens from time to time. AT&T sucks.
  13. I don't think Xbox is going anywhere any time soon. But PlayStation will always be out front between the two. The only thing I can think of that I like about Xbox is that their controllers are somewhat comfortable.
  14. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they did. Corporate greed is higher than ever, and they know gamers that are die hard PlayStation loyalists will pay whatever price they set for their new systems. We're talking millions of systems sold in the first week worldwide. Multiply that by say, $650 per system, that's looking at $650,000,000 to start. That's not pocket change.
  15. Ok, I'm a dumbass. I should have known that immediately. I'm in the states and here we use the imperial system, not the metric system. We're one of only 3 countries on earth that still use that system. The other two are Myanmar and Liberia. When the hell we're gonna get with the program, I don't know. President Ford tried to switch us to metric in 1975, but it didn't work. Americans are basically assholes that don't welcome change.
  16. Are they available on iPhone though? And what do they cost if they are? I'm having trouble with my phone at the moment and can't get the app store to open, or I could answer those questions myself. Also I can't find anything online telling me anything useful.
  17. 22 degrees? Where are you, Antarctica? that's freezing! It's 81° here.
  18. That's one of the main issues. Battle royale and online games are not my thing. I hate online gaming, and battle royale is just not something I enjoy.
  19. Did you check out Goblin Sword?
  20. I had heard of Stardew, but never knew what it was. Alto on the other hand, I had never heard of until now.
  21. Spent the last few days farming items on FF8.
