  1. Good luck in school. Are you in college or high school?
  2. It's not from Wikipedia, and I guarantee you 100% it's not San Diego.
  3. At the moment I'm playing Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice on my Switch, and Tell Me Why on my Xbox. I identify with the characters in both games on a very personal level. For those reasons, they are extremely difficult for me to play, but even harder for me not to play. For example, Senua is schizophrenic. I am schizophrenic as well. If you're not, you can't get as personally involved in the game as someone who is, because you're unable to truly understand our struggle. And once again, I have to thank @Shagger for introducing me to Hellblade, and @skyfire for introducing me to Tell Me Why.
  4. It's the senate square in Helsinki Finland.
  5. I'm not talking about what Huckleberry Fin, or Tom Sawyer said. I'm talking about Samuel Clemens, AKA Mark Twain. A real flesh and blood creature. And its real enraging ideals.
  6. True, but the sad thing is that in todays world, the stupid vastly outnumber the intelligent.😢
  7. Granted neither are sports. On the wrestling, my point was in response to you having mentioned it. So I just continued with the comparison between the two. But if you dig deep enough into any sport, or potential sport, you can find reasons to discredit it as a sport. So while eSports is a sport to some, the mere notion of it as a sport to others is ludicrous. I personally don't give a half a shit either way. I will never take part, so it matters not to me whether it is or isn't a sport. I just felt compelled to reply to this topic. And I'm interested to see what people say, as I find this topic very interesting.
  8. Hey now, don't insult the blueberries. Those things are awesome. I eat them all the time. 😋
  9. In RDR2, there are things you can do that aren't in any way part of anything. For example if you talk to Pearson in camp and look at crafting with him, he needs a bunch of different perfect hides to craft you new satchels. After you get them crafted, you can finally get a last few hides and he will craft the ultimate satchel that, instead of holding 3-5 of any given item, will now hold 99 of EVERY item.
  10. I don't know if I entirely agree with that. While pro wrestling is as choreographed as any ballet, it does take incredible strength and agility. It also takes a convincing ability to act, so as to draw the crowd into a dramatic story line. The feuds, the partnerships, the longstanding stories (Kane and Undertaker) etc. It also takes a hell of a lot of mental fortitude to be on the road 350-360 days a year, and often performing 2-3 times a day. Anyone who hasn't done that has no idea just how exhausted those wrestlers are. Also when they see their families, they have to remember to turn off that persona. Undertaker isn't like that with his family. When he came out as American Badass, that could easily have been the real him. John Cena is a big teddy bear, but I've never seen anyone else lift Big Show onto their shoulders and flip him. I think Cena called that move the FU at the time. I haven't watched wrestling for probably 15+ years, so I honestly don't remember. But anyway.... So for those reasons, I personally give pro wrestling sports credit over eSports.
  11. Look at how he talked about the Native Americans. Myself being part Cherokee, I won’t tolerate that shit.
  12. I’m not willing to read anything written by that bigoted piece of shit. But as for my writing, I haven’t thought about a series per se. Like I said, I’ve finished 2 full length novels, a few short stories, and a hell of a lot of unconventional poetry. One of my novels is getting a major revamp of a chunk of the story. I didn’t like it when I wrote it, and for the life of me I can’t figure out why the hell I kept it in the story.
  13. As far as modern fantasy books go, my absolute favorite is Knight's Wyrd. It's an awesome book. Another good one is Wolfskin. A writer you might be interested in checking out is Dennis Young. I have several of his books. I'm not the biggest fan of his writing style, but he's still really good. If I ever decide to try to get published, I'll tell you when my books are going to hit the shelves. I have 2 finished at the moment, and more on the way. As for classics, absolutely nothing can beat Edgar Allen Poe. His insight to the human mind and heart have never been rivaled, before or since. I have 2 bearded dragons, one male one female. I named them Edgar and Lenore. A second place would be William Shakespeare. His sonnets are great aside from his plays. I like sonnet 141 the best. My favorite of his plays out of the ones that I have read is MacBeth. That one was amazing. The Illiad and Odyssey by Homer are also amazing. I read them repeatedly before I lost my book that had them both in it. I like the classics. I'm not big on much modern writing.
  14. @DC I bid 1,000,000,001 points. Give me 40 or 50 years of posting nonstop for 12 hours a day at minimum, and I'll have the points ready for you. Since topics garner more points than replies I may be doing shit like this for the most part: Topic 1 abc Topic 2 abc Topic 3 abc Topic 4 abc Topic 5 abc Topic 6 abc
  15. I agree for the most part. It's not entirely about getting the virus, it's about spreading it. Someone can argue it by saying "I feel fine, so I can't have it." Well that person could be asymptomatic or a carrier. Both situations would cause them to spread the virus without feeling the symptoms. I wear a mask when I go out, and although I hate doing it, I suck it up and put one on. I feel fine, but that doesn't mean I'm not infected or a carrier. I don't touch fresh unpackaged produce unless I know for a fact that I'm going to buy it. But that's a bit of a moot point as I've always been that way. Masks won't cure it, but they will slow it down and give the medical world (the ones that care anyway) a chance to get the virus under control and hopefully kill it. The CDC is working their ass off, but due to the arrogance of a disproportionate number of the American population, their not making much progress. I mean how long did it take to get the black plague under control after it killed 1/3 of Europe?
  16. For monumental things, like the gold spike at Promontory Point, I think it's perfectly fine to do something like this. But unless Sony planned the PS5 to be their last ever system, I think it's completely ridiculous to do something like this. Sure, everyone would like to have a gold system. It's human nature to want the most valuable items. But what purpose does it actually serve? All I see it doing is being a status symbol for someone to say "I have more money than you so I'm better than you." It's like this Hermès bag. I guarantee I can get some just as good at Walmart for $20. Why the hell would I spend $107,800 for a fucking purse? Status symbol. But a bag like that is just ASKING to be robbed. And would anyone even hook up a gold PlayStation? It seems to me that no one would. It would just sit in that wooden box, and collect dust. But maybe there are collectors of oddball gold items, so I could be talking nonsense. But these are just my views on a gold console.
  17. Something I like to do is hunt certain items in Castlevanis SOTN. I always get myself 2 Ring Of Varda, a Gods Garb, a Crissaegrim, and a Mourne Blade. They're all drop items, and sometimes take FOR FUCKING EVER to get, but are more than worth it. There's a cheat code I use to get a base luck of 99, and I know a trick to keep every item at the beginning of the game, instead of being Death's bitch. But you have to use the 99 luck cheat code if I remember correctly.
  18. If you want a good starting place with God Of War, you should start with Chains Of Olympus. It's available on PSP and PS3. It's actually the one that made me a fan of the series. It's an amazing game, and a great entry into the series.
  19. Going by that pic, it looks like they grew enough of a brain to come up with a new design for the Xbox X. Smart move on their part.
  20. We have a couple. I bought a few NES and SNES games from them last year. I got Ducktales 2 and TMNT Tournament Fighters on NES at one of them. It was a hell of a good deal. Just over $300 for the both of them together. They also have some other rares like Mega Man 1&5. They check all the games that come in to make sure they're not bootlegs. So nothing fake is sold. And if someone asks them to, they're willing to take the cart apart and prove that it's the real deal right there in store. Well, one store is. The other is employed by a bunch of arrogant college kids.
  21. I think it's not considered a sport because it doesn't require physical skill. Tiger woods could play golf on a PS4, but golf nuts would just see him as killing time doing so. Anyone good at NBA 2Kxx games aren't on the roster of the Lakers. We use our hands on a controller, or a mouse and keyboard primarily. You don't have to know how to skate to play NHL games, but you sure as hell do to actually play it IRL. So while gaming does take a hell of a lot of skill in certain areas, it's not considered a sport.
  22. It wouldn't surprise me in the least. Mark Zuckerberg is always looking to make even more money. As $82 billion, he's already wiping his ass with $100 bills. So it's not like he needs it, but he's still greedy as hell. If he thinks he can make a nickel off of it, he's going to go for it.
