  1. I've ran a Satanic forum for a number of years, but it's slowly going the way of the Dodo. Religious forums are starting to become a thing of the past. At one point there were about a thousand active members. But with the creation of Facebook and Twitter, people are losing interest in forums.
  2. If you like family oriented games, you could look into getting a N64 and picking up Banjo Kazooie. It's a kiddie game, and fun as hell. I'm 38 and still love playing it.
  3. I'm still waiting for Tell Me Why. It's one of the first games I've seen that I could relate to the characters in a very personal way.
  4. I didn't know about it also meaning overpowered. But all too often I don't have a clue what acronyms online mean anyway. It took me forever and a day to remember what SMH means.
  5. I'm a classic/retro gamer, so if you're not into the old stuff, there's probably very little that I could recommend.
  6. You left out PC. Computers are popular so you shouldn't have left that off. I know you mentioned Mac but that's like comparing a motorcycle and a car. The same thing but not the same thing. Now to get more into the question, I typically game during the day. I don't game a lot during the night, unless I wake up and just can't get back to sleep.
  7. It's very easy to lose track of how many times you post here. This place is so interactive, that even introverts and misanthropes like myself enjoy joining in. Not to mention being a clinically diagnosed sociopath as well.
  8. It's 11:41 AM here and I haven't been up for even 2 hours yet. I got up at 10:00 and since then have just been playing games and on the computer. Nothing big.
  9. I've never heard of "claw technique" so I assume I'm a "thumbs on the button" type of gamer. Can you describe both so I know if I'm right or not?
  10. I don't know how much I actually saved, but I picked up AC3 at GameStop a while back for $2. I got a hell of a deal there.
  11. SWITCH--- Elemental Knights R (DDL) Agony (DDL) Redneck Skeet Shooting (DDL) SEGA--- Beavis & Butthead PS3--- Defiance
  12. If you're checking by calling the company on the phone all you will get is a fucking runaround from a god damn automated system.
  13. True, and when you have small fan based groups that make their own games, like the one I'm part of, it doesn't take a lot to do.
  14. The Antagonist is the character you play as in Hatred. That's the actual name the game gives him. It doesn't give him a typical name like John or Mike or whatever. He's just called The Antagonist.
  15. Meyna is the mother in Legacy Of The Wizard on NES. She has the ability to use any magical item to aid her on her part of the quest for the 4 crowns, and also has the ability to fly. She isn't the strongest physically, but she is more or less the smartest. Sorry. It never occurred to me to explain who she is.
  16. In my home office I have a minifridge and cabinet right by my desk that I keep food and cold drinks in. I have my systems set up, and my computer all on my desk. I don't have to leave this room for a damn thing except to use the bathroom. And since all 8 of my rats are in here with me, I have company the whole time. Even though, with the exception of the girls (who all think they're actually monkeys), they tend to spend most of their time asleep.
  17. I picked up Photoshop yesterday, and I'm looking forward to learning my way around it. I've never used it before, so I don't have a clue what I'm doing. So I was wondering if anyone here has used it and can give me a few tips on it that may make my learning experience a bit easier to get me up to where I know what the hell I'm doing.
  18. Digital downloads are bigger than ever now. Granted, DDL was popular before the pandemic, but since COVID-19 hit, that seems to be the way EVERYONE is getting their games. I was never a fan of digital games because I thought that if something happened to the system, then I was screwed for all the games I had. So I always wanted physical copies. But even I have been going digital for a large part of my gaming purchases. But then there are also things like PlayStation Plus, and other online programs. So I think the ones most hard hit are the game stores such as GameStop, just like you mentioned. Which kinda sucks, because I always enjoyed browsing, and hitting the bargain bin. I've picked up some really sweet games for $2 several times.
  19. The last I knew, they don't use simulations at all. It's all firsthand. Aside from actually being shot at, you go through what you would/could in actual battle.
  20. I haven't played the first one. I kinda got hooked on RDR2. But it's on my bucket list. Well, my "gaming" bucket list that is.
