  1. For the most part I liked the movies, but other than that I never had any real interest in anything Harry Potter. harry and Ron's cluelessness was, to put it mildly, annoying. And Hermione's know-it-all attitude was Karen-in-training. Dumbledore, while powerful, was a dumbass too. The movies are ok for background noise, but not much else in my opinion.
  2. If I'm awake I usually have one game or another running. While I may not be paying a whole lot of attention to the game from time to time, it's still running. Sometimes I start up FF8 and get into a fight with something powerful and just leave it be to farm up some good items. I've gotten a lot of Ribbons and Friendships that way.
  3. Does anyone else post on Reddit? I started posting recently, and actually created my own subreddit. It's pretty interesting reading other people's stories. I'm getting ready to create a second one as well. If anyone wants the links I'll be happy to share them. I'd also love to have some people make a few posts as well.
  4. It helped me immensely. I've been able to pay off several debts, pick up a few things I needed, and have some money left over. Those of us that are disabled have been helped more than you know.

    Mario Kart

I was thinking the same thing.

    Mario Kart

I’ve played Mario Kart since it debuted on SNES. I played it in every system up through Wii. The Wii version had some great features and the courses were awesome. But as I’m not particularly a fan of the system, I didn’t really play it all that often. So not counting that one my favorite is Mario Kart 64.
  7. I HATE MY FUCKING VAN!!!! The worthless hunk if junk has screwed me for the last time. I was leaving the doctors office, and the sliding door, on the passenger side with the ramp, CAME OFF THE GOD DAMN TRACK!!!! My anxiety and stress are through the roof now. I wish I had someone here that I didn’t like so I would have someone to strangle.
  8. Being on the inside is hell. No privileges. But that’s the point. We weren’t allowed anything to entertain ourselves but books and occasionally TV. If you didn’t spend a lot of time in the yard, you weren’t left with much else.
  9. GameStop has been open here where I live. But they are taking precautions. They’re only allowing 5 customers in the store at a time. But so far they have been doing great, since people are wanting something to eat up time and boredom, and are coming to look for new games. Either as an avid gamer like all of us here at this forum, or as newbies.
  10. I have to say, you make a great point. I would love a fighting game that was more realistic. So far the closest to real I’ve seen is Soul Calibur. A lot of the moves in it are designed to get your enemies a little off balance which makes it a more authentic fight. At least it does in my eyes.
  11. From the late 80’s and early 90’s I could only name a couple. Sega CD Jaguar 3DO I grew up in the 80’s as well, and played Atari and Colecovision for a long time before I got a Nintendo.
  12. I’ve tried to get into BOTW, but I just can’t. Maybe it’s me, but that game is just too confusing, even in the beginning.
  13. I think I saw Fight Club once a very long time ago, right after it came out on video. But that may be a false memory. I do know that it has always looked somewhat interesting to me though.
  14. I've ran a Satanic forum for a number of years, but it's slowly going the way of the Dodo. Religious forums are starting to become a thing of the past. At one point there were about a thousand active members. But with the creation of Facebook and Twitter, people are losing interest in forums.
  15. Zelda OoT
  16. If you like family oriented games, you could look into getting a N64 and picking up Banjo Kazooie. It's a kiddie game, and fun as hell. I'm 38 and still love playing it.
  17. I'm still waiting for Tell Me Why. It's one of the first games I've seen that I could relate to the characters in a very personal way.
  18. I didn't know about it also meaning overpowered. But all too often I don't have a clue what acronyms online mean anyway. It took me forever and a day to remember what SMH means.
  19. I'm a classic/retro gamer, so if you're not into the old stuff, there's probably very little that I could recommend.
  20. You left out PC. Computers are popular so you shouldn't have left that off. I know you mentioned Mac but that's like comparing a motorcycle and a car. The same thing but not the same thing. Now to get more into the question, I typically game during the day. I don't game a lot during the night, unless I wake up and just can't get back to sleep.
  21. It's very easy to lose track of how many times you post here. This place is so interactive, that even introverts and misanthropes like myself enjoy joining in. Not to mention being a clinically diagnosed sociopath as well.
  22. It's 11:41 AM here and I haven't been up for even 2 hours yet. I got up at 10:00 and since then have just been playing games and on the computer. Nothing big.
  23. I've never heard of "claw technique" so I assume I'm a "thumbs on the button" type of gamer. Can you describe both so I know if I'm right or not?
