  1. I hate to say it, but a lot of the earlier Zelda games are like this. Loads of content, ten minutes to beat. A couple others that go by in the blink of an eye are Wizards & Warriors (NES) and Castlevania SOTN. They have tons of content, but are so damn short. With Castlevania, unless you're hell bent on getting certain items, you're done with the entire game in a couple hours, and I mean both castles here. Wizards & Warriors is a straight shot through. I love the game, but it's quick as hell. You need something in reserves, ready to play when you're done with this one.
  2. Anything related to beastiality, or animal harm in any way gets my vote.
  3. The plot of a game makes all the difference in every way. It can be a game in the most popular and best selling series in gaming history. But if it doesn’t have a great plot, it’s gonna flop, and could possibly have enough affect to destroy the series. Newbies whose first experience with a series that started on a terrible entry will usually see no reason to check out any other entries.
  4. Uncanny Annie It was like Jumanji butt fucked Truth Or Dare. Weird. As. Hell.
  5. I think it's a bit of a Mandela Affect thing. Peoples memories are getting crossed with elements from 3 or 4 different games, and now there's the legendary Polybius. Either way, I still find the story entertaining.
  6. Good. Keep it that way. BTW, the most dangerous drug, so far, is Krokodil aka Krok. The high is beyond anything even a heavy heroin user can imagine. But it starts to rot your flesh instantly at the site of injection. Look it up if you want, but don't say I didn't warn you.
  7. Psychopathic Records or Majic Ninja Entertainment?
  8. My big oversized purple shirt. I’ve had it for years and wear it all the time. I absolutely love it.
  9. I've done both. Trust me they're about equal.
  10. Majora's Mask wasn't real time. Sure it had a clock that you had to keep resetting, but I mean real time as it is in the real world. Has anyone seen the Johnny Depp movie Nick Of Time? That was shot in real time. Sure those type of games aren't for everyone, but I enjoy stuff like that. A million different options, each with a different effect on the next part of the game, and not being able to go back. All culminating in millions of different endings completely based on the choices you made. That would be an amazing game.
  11. Another thing I would like to see more of, would be games that are played in real time. There seems to be a shortage of them, and I always loved that type of thing. A game where you can't pause to think, and couldn't cheat by pausing the game. You had to act as you would in real life. Those are desperately needed.
  12. Before I get to my games, I wanted to respond to this. The people that pull this kind of shit, well I have two words about that: FUCK THEM. Not everyone is going to get along, or agree on everything. It's ridiculous to think otherwise. I can't say anything about Daemons Souls because, while I have the game, I have yet to actually play it. I know, I'm lazy. It's your right to not like a game. I personally hate Halo and GTA. Many people think I'm fucking nuts. Some will agree with me. But all in all, stick to your guns, and tell the others to piss off. You and I didn't exactly start off on the best foot, but I think we've moved past it. We choose to stay, or we choose to leave. Who gives a shit? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Now on to my game entry. I would have to put DarkStone for PS1 on this list. The game is impossible from the start. The paths through the forest outside the town are so monotonous and many so well hidden that you can never find your way around. The enemies pop up out of nowhere and before you know it you're dead. Finding your way back to town, even with your map, is a whole quest in itself. The game is absolutely terrible. One that while I can enjoy, but can't stand at the same time is Zelda: Goddess Of Wisdom. It's a ROM-hack, but it is so god damn hard that it's next to impossible. I've been playing it for three years, and have only just found a third dungeon. I say A third dungeon because none of them are labeled in any way, and I have no fucking clue if I'm going in the right direction or not. The items I need, I'm not getting. I don't know if they're dungeon items, or something I'm supposed to find somewhere on the world map. It's honestly one of the hardest games I've ever played. One that I'll keep playing until I beat it, not because I enjoy it, but because after 30+ years of trying is Legacy Of The Wizard. I've talked about it before. You have to find 4 crowns to release and awaken a dragon so that you can kill the dragon. I have so far found only one crown. I'm too stubborn to give up. But once I do beat the damn thing, I highly doubt I'll ever play it again. It's gotten so bad that I've devolved to using a Game Genie to power up my characters to try to make the game easier. It doesn't help.
  13. I have tons of extra systems, many duplicates, that I'm bundling to sell. I'm wanting to get a cheap Xbox 360 to put in with it, but I don't have the money at the moment. As it sits I have about 7 PS2's, and 4 PS3's. The reason for that is because I buy bundles myself, mostly for the games that are in the bundle. And I always end up with an extra system that I honestly don't need. I have NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis(gen1 and gen2), PS2, PS3, Atari, and another system but I can't think of what it is at the moment, all going in to the bundle with games for each system. That's the reason I want a 360. To sweeten the deal. But as it is, I still can get a pretty decent chunk anyway.
  14. I played a game in an arcade that was called Polybius. I'm not saying it was the legendary Polybius. We all know it wasn't. But they shared the same name. I don't remember much about it (it was after all about 25 years ago) but it was ok enough that I played it more than once. I think that was just because it was better than other games while I was waiting for the one I wanted to open up. But that was when one play on any game as a quarter.
  15. I don't know if it really counts as an urban legend, but the thing about Squall being dead in FF8 could be another one.
  16. There’s the Ben drowned story with Majora’s Mask. I don’t remember all the details about it, but it was a little bit out there.
  17. I tend to hang on to it. But then, as everyone already knows, I’m a classic gamer.
  18. It’s a really soft material. It’s often used for comfort tops and light throw blankets.
  19. Realism can add to a game in some ways, and take away from it in others. Like in Zelda OoT, with the bow, Links breathing makes him move . He doesn't have perfect steadiness the way he does with the hookshot. And in FF8 the monsters seem to be able to actually think, especially the GF's that you have to fight to gain. If the NPC's and enemies act as an intelligent species with the ability to think, and aren't statues, then you have the necessary realism to make a great game. Early systems (Atari, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, etc.) are an obvious exception as they didn't possess the capabilities for so much detail.
