This looks like the kind of game I would play! I have been a fan of FPS games for the longest time and this one definitely has that cartoon/Cuphead vibe to it.

As long as it isn't as rage inducing as Cuphead was I should be good playing it 🙂

I totally agree! This looks like a total blast! Like Cuphead, it's the animation style of the cartoons I watched as a kid, which is what has me playing Cuphead. Despite having never even made it past the first level.😋

So far is hasn't really been rage inducing for me yet, but I'm sure it will at some point. Just being able to play in those graphics is enough for me to not get pissed.

  2. There's a lot of talk about this and that with people building their own PC's. Most of what they're talking about is something I personally have no clue what it is. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. So I'm going to pin this thread and see if it gains much traction. If it does, we'll keep it pinned. If not, we'll let it fall into the depths of the PC forum.

The first question is what the hell are peripherals?

I would have to start with Cats

    Pros:

They are dedicated to their owner
    They can bring comfort
They are easy to take care of as they tend to do most of the care themselves, we just have to worry about treating them for fleas and worms, feeding them and ensuring they are healthy
You don't have to take them on walks as they tend to do this themselves unless you choose to as an owner

    Cons:

They can be quite expensive especially if they are fussy with the kind of food they eat
It can be difficult to bathe them if needed with their fear of water unless they do not mind it
    Vet bills can be expensive

    You left off one con:
They are actively plotting our deaths. You may think the devil is evil, but even he is afraid of cats.

  4. I don't remember the last time I was able to enjoy a xmas dinner. I haven't had anyone in my life to enjoy it with. If I was to have a xmas dinner it would be from going out to eat at some place like Cracker Barrel. Other than that, my xmas dinner would be the same as my Thanksgiving dinner. A can of corn.

get a used Xbone and replace it with my HD.

In theory that sounds like a good idea, but the problem is that most systems from the PS3/Xbox 360 generation forward have put a differing design hard drive in their systems so that they couldn't simply be taken out and put in a different machine. It was a bullshit move to try to force consumers to have to buy new systems when something broke, thus increasing their profits. I know for a fact that the PS3 was like that, because I've tried repairing several that had hard drive crashes, and the hard drives were all physically different to the point that the new ones couldn't even go into the console, let alone be installed into it. So you may have to bite the bullet and lose all your data, or find a tech whiz and see if they can fix your Xbox and save your data.

Your horizons will definitely broaden here. I would venture to say that is fact for everyone. As for the backwards compatibility, I know the PS5 has full backwards compatibility with all PS4 games save 6 titles.

    • Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma Volume One
    • Hitman Go: Definitive Edition
    • Just Deal With It!
    • Robinson: The Journey
    • Shadwen
    • We Sing

Those titles haven't seemed to be much of an issue to most gamers. The only possible exception I could see would be Hitman.

  7. You can't forget that IF Adolf gets back in the White House, he will never leave. The 22nd amendment will be a distant memory, and the constitution will be the first bit of toilet paper he uses to wipe his fat ass as soon as he takes a shit. All while flushing more documents down the toilet as well. We will be under a full fledged dictatorship no different than Iraq and North Korea. When he FINALLY dies, it will most likely be Don Jr who assumes power. I don't think it would be Eric or Ivanka. It damn sure wouldn't be Tiffany. We will be under a fascist regime run by full fledged Nazis. They would make Hitler proud. Anyone who is not a straight, cisgender, white, xtian, republiKKKLanazi will be sent to camps to be executed, no different than 1940's Germany. I'm definitely dead because I'm not straight nor am I xtian. I'm a Satanic lesbian.

This is why I've been talking to Canada seeking asylum.

  8. Things come up that take a toll. @DC doesn't always have something for people to bid on. Until he has something (such as a steam code for a free game) there won't be any auctions. He gets these things as promotions from different sources, but they're not always sending out such things. So all anyone can do is wait.

  9. Playing several hours per day, might not be a sign of addiction. For example take someone in my situation. I'm on disability because I can't work. Thus, I have nothing but empty time. I need to find something to do with that time. When I get up in the morning, if I intend to get on RDR2, I usually end up playing it until I go to bed. Some would call that addiction, while others would just say that I'm just playing the hand I was dealt.

Like I said, gaming addiction can often be a gray area.

  10. Who here can say that their all-time favorite game has changed? I can definitely say that. For the last several decades, my all-time favorite game was Zelda OoT. I thought it was the perfect game. Now, to no ones surprise, my all-time favorite game is RDR2. The game simply blows me away. There is so much to do in the game that it's mind blowing. There are secrets that very few have probably found. Items like the fluorite and ammolite, shrunken head, and gold shield just to name a few. There are also encounters like the giant and the devil. Then there are the challenges. Riding from Strawberry to St Denis in 9 minutes without touching water. Killing 5 flying birds from a moving train. And a hell of a lot more. There is so much to do and discover that I haven't found a game that can match. I've tried Skyrim and Witcher 3, but they just couldn't get their hooks in me.

Play AC Odyssey and stop flirting with Assassins Creed. Play what you love in Greek life and afterlife. Please. Stop beating around the bush. Play Odyssey. I’m thinking you might be afraid of living in that world, the world where maybe you find strong associations with.

    Uhhhhhh….

I DO play Assassins Creed. AC3 is what initially got me into the series. Just because there’s one that I haven’t gotten to yet doesn’t mean I don’t play the franchise. I haven’t played every Zelda game, but I still play the hell out of the series. I haven’t played every entry in the Dark Pictures Anthology yet, but I still love it.

So just because I don’t rave about it all the time doesn’t mean I don’t play it.
