The very simple question asked in the original post has long since been answered and is being kept going by loop of discussion that has nothing to do with the subject. And now we're even looping right back round to people answering he original question again, like @Boblee; This on page one; And this just a few minutes before this post This thread has turned into a mess of the same handful of people posting something for the sake of posting anything, and I think enough is enough. I have been playing video games for 30 years, and I can never think of a time where I forgot what platform I was playing a game on, especially recently. In fact, I am fairly confident I would remember, for the most part, what platform I played any memorable game on. Sorry , but something is off here. Even on modern platforms I'd know if I was playing on Xbox, PC, PlayStation and certainly on switch. I feel a lot of your posts are a bit off. For a start, both the PC and Switch planforms use very different control prompts and default icons that it is impossible to make that kind of mistake. You literally can not play an Nintendo Game nor or PC game with PlayStation button prompts and icons and not recognise that there is some sort of problem unless you are blind. PC games use XBox control icons as defaults, a format Nintendo copied. There is no way in my mind you could have made that mistake. Also, nobody refers to PC gaming as "Microsoft Windows PC". Gamers say "PC", because "PC" games can be played on Linux or MacOS. So, what is going on?

That one I'll sustain. The game is on Switch and PC only. Seriously @Head_Hunter, there is something very odd with a lot of your posts. What you have posted simply can't be true.

The game is playable through PS Now on PS4.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. Launch titles for the PS3 included the likes of Killzone: Shadow Fall and Genji: Days of Blade, games that would look great even as late PS3 games.

It will be just the next FIFA, so inevitably and just like the rest, the best you can hope is for it to be no more terrible than the previous, which is the the likely truth because it will literally be the same game with some features added in back in that were previously removed so they could add them back in a "new features". I'm honestly certain that FIFA fans are at least slightly deluded. Why on earth anyone can look at FIFA with hope and excitement is baffling. Why can't you see it's dreadful, lazily put together con? The only purpose FIFA serves is to bleed money from a fanbase that clearly does not know any better. With all due respect @Head_Hunter, you and others who share your view on this scheme some people wrongfully call a video game game are the problem. You seriously get exited over the same buggy, rubbish mess of a game year after year just for an updated team roster? Why don't you demand better? Why, for example, can't EA simply update team rosters through patching? I'll tell you why, because EA know that the fools who buy this garbage will just take this abuse year after and buy the same game at full price or more every damb year without question. Apparently, that seems to b the case. Because they used facial capture on the actors, I assumed that, at least structurally, the face would be based on Ashley as well, but obviously not. Strange, and maybe it's just me, I don't feel Hannah actually looks that much like Aloy, so I would never have guessed

Well, the first thing I will point out is that woman is NOT the actress who plays Aloy. The real actress is Ashley Burch. I suppose it is possible that that woman did the voice over in some other language, but It's hard to tell. As for @kingpotato's original post, mastering this game, especially on ultra hard, it's all about using not just the right weapons and armour for the given situation. but also using the best weapons, armour and strategy's to compliment your own play style.

I'm not exactly sure why what I would have to say on this subject would be more interesting or relevant, but I'll chime in. The notable difference between extremism and free speech is how it impacts other people. It is no longer your right to express something when that impedes on the rights or safety of somebody else. So, if a website is hosting something that's meant to spread hate, then that is not free speech. Saying "I hate insert" is free speech. You don't have to like it or agree it, but that is free speech. Saying "this is why you should hate insert" is more questionable, and defiantly over line to say "should be violent towards insert". Such conversations online are no different to such conversations in real life.

What gives you the right to decide whether those names are offensive or not when you are (clearly) not a Native American?

But that's not really about how the game looks. The goal is make Messi look like Messi, and to make Wayne Rooney look an ogre. It's about accuracy, not style. The looks in a game like FIFA is not a creative endeavour.

Why are we bringing FIFA into this discussion? The game is a sports simulation, it's graphics are meant to mimic something that's real, there is literally no creative design or style involved.

I'm sorry, but your query can't be fully answered on VGR without someone posting links to pirated software. Discussion on emulsion is fine on VGR, but we can't allow talk of downloading games illicitly. There are already threads on emulsion and abandonware, and many old games can be still be played on legitimate platforms, so I'm locking this thread.

A slave is someone robbed of thier own free will, so a fetus and even a baby up until a certain age lacks the ability to enforce, develop and express such a will and are totally dependence on others for care and survival, so I don't feel that child under a certain age can really be enslaved under my definition. So, with all due respect @Jayson, you're being ridiculous. Even when a child is old enough to have thier own will than can be taken from them comparing a parent's discipline and guidance to slavery is a stretch to say the least. That's not denying someone thier right of will and independent thought.

That pretty much sums up my initial thoughts. It is Horizon Zero dawn with every little thing being a little bit better. I still plan to write a full review, so I won't say much more, but it is a superb games so far.

Telling people that a comedy is bad is very hard to explain because the statement "that's not funny" is so correct and essential, yet so vague and open to critique. in itself, and really all that people ask of a comedy is for it to be funny, so to hate a comedy because "It's not funny" is all you need, but it is so hard to explain in a credible matter.

I went to a catholic primary (elementary) school. The drumming of religious bullshit was there, but they also shoved me to the side because they didn't want to deal with my Asperger's syndrome. To be fair, the similar Catholic #hight school handled it much better, so maybe religion wasn't the issue, but I have truly lost trust in religion as a thing.

I'm actually with you on DA: Inquisition. The story is dynamic, the premise is interesting, the characters are well fleshed out, but the gameplay itself was so dull that it made the game a chore to play through at times. Dare I say, it might have been better in the style on Life is Strange or a Telltale game. In answer to the topic, I believe it is possible to get invested in a game without being crazy about it's gameplay, but when the games seals it's gameplay in manner that isn't that of an interactive narrative that has limited gameplay by design, it really poisons the experience is the gameplay is not fun. I've actually resisted answering this topic because I couldn't quite figure out my ambivalence about it, but now I feel I've figured out it's all about how the experience id presented. If the advert tells you it swims and walks like a pelican, to find it it's a duck would inevitable be disappointed. It wouldn't matter that a duck can fly, and may arguable be better, it wouldn't matter because that's not not what you payed for.

Yes, they did, but 3 years later. If you want to play Forbidden West, I'd advise buying it on console because a PC release is a long ways off if it happens at all.
