It's not ridiculous it all; in fact: it's a pretty normal and basic conquering tactic that goes back literally centuries if not thousands of years to get warriors and men to learn musical instruments and the arts of femininity so that when the population in which they dwell is abused by authoritarian regimes, the men do not resist the abuse.

Military personal often learn musical instruments as part of drills, it helps maintain synchronicity when marching.  Music and dance not exclusively a feminine arts, never have been.

I've mentioned in other topics how human beings can have their minds "erased", or fractured, and then have a new personality sort of implanted via MK Ultra (CIA Mind Control) techniques; and more and more people aren't simply waking up one day and "deciding" that they are queer, or a 3 year old boy "deciding" he is a female one day. This stuff is factually being pushed onto the populace, although its debatable how much and to what extent the content is being pushed.

That is NOT how it works!  Ever heard of Gender Dysphoria?  Trans and gay people don't wake up in the morning and suddenly decide their are of a different gender and/or are attracted to members of the same gender.  If that were true anyone one of us including you could just "flip the switch" anytime and have a weekly tradition of "Gay Thursday", you know that's not the case.  Gender and sexuality are something a person can just "decide".  If it was I fucking guarantee no one would be queer, I mean who the hell make the choice that opens up the floodgates for this kind of social stigma willingly?  Nobody that's who.

Even just last night I looked at right wing journalist Andy Ngo's Twitter and there was a fairly outrageous display of full grown men in drag queen strip tease dance shows having a large drag event where they were teaching literally children how to give the drag people tips like a stripper, and antifa were guarding the event with an armed militia with AR-15's, etc. Is this country serious about this stuff? That is pure decadence at its finest, and if and when the country collapses, don't say you weren't warned because the moral decline and the decadence comes before the collapse.

Post your sources or GTFO.  I'm not going to just take the world of someone who, by your own admission, is bias.  I do know that the people in your camp literally lie about this sort of thing all the time.  I did hear a story recently where a drag artist was doing a book reading for some kids at an event.  The parents were present, it wasn't in any way sexualised, he was just reading a children's book.  Of course they had to take the opportunity to claim that these children were being "groomed" which was complete bullshit.

The big lie is that you are being sold some sort of ridiculous "progress", when in fact humanity has likely already gone through various phases of a build up to high levels of technological achievement only to face a great catastrophe (whether it is natural or planned); and then they have to restart everything again. Also known as the great reset and very similar to how there were actually 5 versions of "NEO" before the one in the original Matrix trilogies.

Yes, there are conspiracies. And yes there are conspiracies all the time. I study law and conspiracies happen on the daily. All a "conspiracy" is, is when 2 or more people collude in order to commit a crime -- similar in a way to contract law. Yes, yes, yes there are "conspiracies" -- but the various intelligence agencies have convinced people that there's no such thing as a conspiracy and what a ridiculous idea the notion is.

ANTIFA plots conspiracies in writing right on Twitter on a constant basis. This is an uncontested fact.

Your not "studying", your just regurgitating propaganda.  If you were studying you would have read up on Gender Dysphoria and at least have made an honest effort to understand the other perspective but you clearly didn't.

Some of my knowledge is also well ahead of the 21st century, which would technically make me ahead of you; so good luck with that one. Trying to prop up a society that is going to a very GENERALIZED and cookie cutter process of collapse via decadence and moral decline is not some sort of way of traveling into the future. This awesome 21st century future you're bragging about is going to feature your local neighborhood lemings in bread lines after the collapse while things head towards a banana Republic like Venezuela. And chili dogs will, of course, be 200,000 dollars a piece, but since we are dealing with the grand "future" of humanity -- inflation will be so downright spectacular and wonderful in the 21st century version of America that chili dogs will increase in price by the hour (just like they do in Venezuela as of August 29th, 2022). And if you don't like chili dogs being 17 billion dollars, or whatever form of currency they have after a collapse, then snitches will rat you out as an enemy of the state and a person will likely be placed on the terrorist watch list.

Now your leaning on pure exaggeration and to be honest, it seems a bit, unnecessary.  I live in the UK where there is a cost of living crisis where the cost of basic amenities like electricity and some select food items have nearly doubled over the past 6 months.  it's got nothing to do with gender identity or any moral issues that you trying to tie into it.  Unless you, of course, link your sources which seem to be consistently missing from all your posts.

Also if your knowledge is ahead of the curve could you tell me what the winning Euromillions are tomorrow?  I'd be be happy to split it with you!

Theory, belief, "component of a world view"; you are nit picking semantics at this point. What I said still stands.

How?  You said forensic science disproves atheism but didn't explain why.  By default forensics has nothing to with atheism so you need to explain your point.

  3. 7 minutes ago, ForwardSlashDownPoke said:

The more you dig into actual modern day forensic science, it seems to disprove the theory of atheism; albeit whom and what is considered a God or a "god" (lower case "g") is debatable.

Disprove what?  Atheism is not a theory, it's someone who doesn't believe in the  presence of any god(s).  That's just one component of a world view, which going from one atheist to another could be wildly different.

  4. Oh for fucks sake!  Denuvo is useless!  Customers (especially on PC) know it's useless, developers know it's useless, even publishers know it's useless.  the only reason anybody uses it is so say they can claim that they are doing something about the money their not loosing to piracy.  Denuvo is usually cracked within 24 hours and even if it isn't, the customer base that do have a legit copy that they paid for have to suffer.  This is without considering the hypothesis that piracy doesn't actually loose these companies any profit.  Think about it, if you would rather go through the hassle of downloading a cracked version of a game that probably has tonnes of adware bollocks then you obviously weren't willing to buy the game in the first place!  For game publishers piracy is an enemy that doesn't exist.

  5. The worst would have to be Resident Evil Survivor 2 – Code: Veronica (PS2).

it's a fucking dreadful excuse for an arcade FPS.  Clunky, same objective every level and every single asset was just copied over from Resident Evil Code Veronica X.  The first Resident Evil Survivor was a piece of crap but even it had more effort put into it than this, with (shitty) voice acting and some exclusive assets.  The abomination doesn't even have that going for it.  This is a lazy and pathetic as you can conceive.

Glad I'm not  the only one who thinks this game has been taking too long to release already.

New trailers are released daily and my curiosity is already to the roof I just want the game to released.

What?  First of all all the trailers are not coming out "daily".  Their's been maybe 3 or 4 spread over the past couple of years which is not excessive at all.  Secondly their initial aim for release (not even an official date) was 2023, which hasn't happened yet.  There has been no official delays.

People seem to be displaying an obscene lack of patience with this game.  This is a independent studio of about 40 people making a game of AAA+ quality during the pandemic in China where the rules are (still) incredibly strict.  Give them some fucking time!  If this were delayed two years I wouldn't feel right to complain.

  7. Ever since Microsoft released the XBox One Pro Controller for their platform gamers have been wondering when and/or if Sony would do the same for PlayStation.  There has been a number of third party controllers over the years from the likes of Namco and Razer but nothing from PlayStation themselves... Until now.

They have just announced the DualSense Edge, a customisable version of the Dual Sense with swappable thumbsticks, adjustable triggers, custom profiles amoung other features.

    https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2022/08/sony-reveals-official-ps5-pro-controller-dualsense-edge

So what do you think of the Dual Sense Edge?

  8. I'm actually quite surprised that they are making this one.  I genuinely thought that after 2015's Illumination no other publisher and/or developer would take risk it with this franchise.  I hope it turns out well.

  9. This is like someone suing a burger van for charging more for a can of Coke than the corner shop does.  Not only this is clearly not going to go anywhere, but it would create a dangerous legal premise for any company that wants to have a digital sale if it does.  The guy has good intentions but he clearly hasn't thought this through.

    Final Fantasy XV.
The plot is super weak and you can constantly tell they had to move stuff around or change things (especially if you played it before any DLC was out) but the final dungeon/boss fight/secret ending parts are all excellent.

The more I think about it that's true of a lot of games in the Final Fantasy Franchise.  I've given Final Fantasy XIII a very hard time but the ending was actually pretty decent.

The video game awards will be back this December, is anyone excited? I'm more interested in the reveals more than anything, but they will be adding one new category. That new category being best adaptation, as in video games turned into movies, tv shows, comic books and other such media. So you probably won't see the likes of The Last Of Us make the list, but I'm sure they will include the Halo show, that Resident Evil show and I imagine there are a few other game adaptations I'm forgetting.

Anyway, feel free to discuss what games you think will also make the Game Awards this year.

Arcane: League of Legends would have to be in there, I can't think of any other recent video game adaptation that was a critical success.

I've seen different pictures of switch, I know it's similar to PSP, but not that similar because switch looks completely like a mobile phone but PSP have some curvy parts. That's what I saw on the internet I never seen the picture of switch real-life that's why I asked the user who claimed to own a switch if PSP and switch are completely the same.

It turns out I could be a little more ambitious.  I've found a refurbished Acer Predator Triton 300 with an i7 and a RTX 3080 for less than £1400.  The same model on Amazon is nearly £1000 more so I think it's pretty good deal.

Hello again tabulation and text options on a PC web browser, oh how I've missed you!

I think I'll sleep on it before I make my mind up.

Weil it has a arrived!  I still can't believe I got a gaming laptop with an RTX 3080 and a 8 core 16 thread I7 for this price. Haven't gamed on it yet but I'm safely assuming it's beast!  Most gaming laptops aren't very subtle and tend to be be kind of bulky and plastic.  This all Aluminium and less than 20mm thick with such a clean executive aesthetic.  If it weren't for the Predator logo on top you wouldn't even know this was a gaming focused machine.

    Here are the basic stats:

    • CPU:        Intel I7 11800H 8 Core 16 Thread 2.3Ghz base 4.6Ghz Boost.
    • GPU:        Nvidia RTX 3080 Mobile.
    • RAM:        16Gb @ 3200Mhz (may upgrade to 32Gb, I'll see how it goes.
    • Storage:  1Tb SSD (not certain if its Nvme, may ad more here).
    • Screen:    1440 x 2160 IPS @ 165Hz.

I'm so glad to be able to play on PC again.

  15. I figured it was a little more economical to make a post here rather than start another topic.  I'm thinking of getting a new gaming laptop myself.  Gaming performance is king, so I'm thinking RTX 3070 or better.  I wanna use it for some music stuff too so 15.6' would be preferable to a 17' to keep it more portable for my gig bag.  Quality of the screen/speakers are not a big priority since I'll likely be using it with external speakers and monitor most of the time anyway.

Normal to hear them becoming more loud and heat coming out from the system, more you open and the more things that you do, like gaming. Yet why post about it. Normal. Gaming laptops are just loud, you can make it slightly less annoying by using one of those cooling pads with a couple of fans in it but it won't really change the fact that your laptop is going to be somewhat noisy.

Other than raising the laptop giving the intake on the bottom more room to breathe (assuming that the intakes are we even on the bottom on the first place) those pads don't really do anything.  Sometimes they can even make the thermal throttling worse.

It depends on how the cooling system in your laptop works.  Most modern laptops use "blower" type cooling similar to the older Nvidia factory coolers, and these are ones that don't work very well.  Blower cooling relies on the pressure of the air coming out to be higher than the air going in to maintain air flow.  Cooling pads actually fuck this up by increasing the pressure of the air going in.  That's why the guy in video (among many others) so his cooling get significantly worse with the introduction of a cooling pad.

If your laptop's cooling is a open system or the pad pulls air out of the exhaust rather than pushes into the intake then yeah, you might see some positive results but for most, their pretty much worthless.

  17. I got Mario Kart 8 Deluxe when I first got a Switch and, I was kinda disappointed with it.  The game is perfectly sound in almost every aspect from its visuals, mechanics and design.  The issue I had was that in the Deluxe edition everything is unlocked from the outset, so for single player is kind of a waste.  I could see why they did it, if you already played the Wii U version you probably wouldn't want to go through the grind again, but I wanted to experience the game as it was originally intended.
