kingpotato Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 A new Tomb Raider games was announced by Crystal Dynamics, no images, gameplay or release date has been announced, so far we only know its being made with Unreal Engine 5 which is pretty cool. Justin11 Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 I tried reading the complete article at IGN, the number of annoying traffics bored me out. Their is no problem with the game announcement, but it's an issue to make announcement without without definite date of release.

Empire Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 Mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I really loved the 2013 game, but I wasn't really all that big on the other two. I know Crystal Dynamics didn't make Shadow, but, well, they did make Avengers...

You mean that crappy Avengers game for Square Enix? If that's the case, I'm definitely not looking forward to it at all - I'd love to be proven wrong but the standards of the gaming industry are currently rock bottom so I'm probably right.

She's more complex and fleshed out, yet more relatable and realistic. I'm not saying that there was anything desperately wrong with the Lara from the older games, but she was built to be something of a fantasy realized rather than a more genuine character. She was a product of her time, but that time has passed and I'm glad because we got a character that had a lot more work out into her in the end. Edited April 18, 2022 by Shagger

I watched Tomb Raider movie when I was very tender around 2004, the movie came out first time around 2001, in which Lara Croft covered the lead role. I just want to see Lara make the comeback, I'm one of her super fan.

Sometimes trying to over reach and change something that's never broken ends up pretty bad. At least, they should roll with what's been working for a while now.

What are differences between the old Lara and the new Lara that bring you to that conclusion. What are changes and why are they to the characters detriment in you eyes?
