What is the best gaming phone?

Recommended Posts

Might want to post in the mobile section here - https://www.vgr.com/forum/forum/36-mobile/

I know Razer has their own phone model, and may have even made a new one. I heard from someone who owned one and I guess they are really good for gaming. Could even be good for streaming of games like on Xbox and nvidia.

But, these days a lot of the newer phones, from Apple and Samsung for example, are becoming better for gaming.

@Kane99 Thanks for the suggestion, I've moved the thread (first moderator action so bear with me if it goes to cock). I've no suggestions myself, but I thought I'd mention the move so you don't get lost, Tom.

There's gong to be very little difference in gaming performance, but ROG 5 is a better phone - Red Magic 6 is a spec beast for sure, but not as good at being a phone. Black Shark 4 is going to be the same, stick with the ROG 5 if it's in budget.

Go for quality RAM devices, the higher the RAM the bigger the phone performance in terms of gaming. Prices differs, I'll suggest the following mobile phones suitable for gaming:

- Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

- Iphone 13 Pro Max

- Asus ROG Phone 6

- Black Shark 5 Pro

- Tecno Camon 19 Pro

You can check their prices at Amazon store, but bear in mind, you'll spend more funds for this devices due to their high quality and features.

hmmm, lot's of people like the Black shark or the ROG phone,

I recently bought a "gaming" phone according to the marketing, but I just needed a replacement for my old phone, so I bought a budget gaming phone for around $200~ USD, the infinix note 12 G96. but hey, it's AMOLED. 😁

basically the company who owns tecno also owns infinix, among a few others. 😀

I never knew that the company that owns Tecno owns the right as well with Infinix. No wonder they look alike, just that Tecno battery capacity tends to be higher than Infinix. I never seen Infinix phone clocking that 6k -8k AMH, but Tecno does..

I use an iPhone 12 Pro, and have never had an issue running all sorts of games. It has a ton of memory and "disc space" so to speak. It also has a lightning fast processor, which means little to no lag time. So I highly recommend that.

You should go for a Samsung device that have a good memory space of more than 120gb. The biggest challenge that you can experience with buying a mobile device is phone lagging when you play the games that you wish to play. Samsung devices also have good performances in the long term too.

Iphone 13, ROG 5, Samsung series, POCO.

Tried Poco and iphone xr. No lag while gaming.

To be quite honest, gaming phones are a bit of a gimmick because most high end phones can offer the same gaming experience without compromising on the quality of the essential features.
