Which channel do you watch for news updates? I watch BBC Breakfast every morning. However, if you stream or download any BBC content, consumers are legally bound to pay a TV License fee which is £157.50 in England. I can't entirely agree with the charge and personally believe the license should abolish or the money should go to good causes. They already get enough revenue from ad-breaks.

I don't get my news from TV, I prefer the internet because on the internet nobody spreads misinformation, surrenders to social/political bias and everyone is always calm, mature and respectful... Yeah.

The TV Licence is archaic bullshit.  It should be a subscription service that is opt in, NOT opt out.  They could easily monetize it in a way similar to Netflix or a premium TV service like Sky and simple cut off the service for non payment but no.  They would rather treat innocent people like criminals and harass people with threatening letters and investigators knocking on your door.  Not to mention a colour TV Licence costs as much as Netflix and Amazon Prime combined, for Strictly Come Dancing and tired ass soap operas.  No bloody thank you!

Just have the BBC news on, from BBC one or two. They always broadcast the news 24/7 however they repeat it ever hour till they have more news to report. BBC news is bad broadcasting anway.

Personally, while I do watch mainstream news outlets, I tend to do my own research on some of these stories to verify that they're supplying me with credible information.

BBC is good anyway, with their repetition of news most of the time. People that miss the first one can catch with the ones they miss later on.
