  1. The Blackangel

    Ask The Blackangel

Alright I'm here. I doubt this will get many replies, if any at all, but I figured what the hell. Ask away people. I'm an open book. I'll answer pretty much anything. Within reason of course.

  2. Not sure if this is the best place for this question BUT, I use PS4 Share to record Gaming Walkthroughs for my YouTube channel. I use a cheaper Turtle Beach headset to do Audio for it. That being said, it picks up pretty decent feedback from the AC vent in my apartment. Would upgrading to a better quality of headset help with this or is it irrelevant? Any input would be super helpful. Thanks guys!

  3. I seem to have forgotten to introduce myself. In fairness, I was pretty much a lurker at best when I joined. This guy over here (@UleTheVee) dragged me in at the time, and for a while I really didn't have much to say. Haha... Anyway! I'm Akamia. Like most of you, I'm a gamer. My favorite genre is real-time strategy. My favorite game for the moment is Stellaris, a 4X real-time strategy game; think Civilization in space. I also really love robots, to the point that I all but completely exclusively play Machine Intelligence empires in Stellaris, and play as robotic characters in other games whenever the opportunity presents itself. Other games I greatly enjoy are the MechWarrior series, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, Halo, StarCraft, and some assortment of fighting games. I'm a Mega Man main in Super Smash Bros., though I have yet to own a Switch for Ultimate. Whenever I'm not playing games, I also listen to music. Mostly video game soundtracks, but I have other things in my library as well. I'm currently learning how to play piano, and I sometimes build robots with LEGO Mindstorms. One project I want to eventually work on is a functioning replica of the Protoss Dragoon from StarCraft made entirely out of LEGO. Getting the electronics for that will be pretty expensive, however... It's sort of a bucket list thing. Looking forward to discussing stuff!

  7. Don't trust him, he used to be a Starcraft II player until he literally betrayed his Protoss kind for the sake of Stellaris lol.

  8. Absolutely and Deus Ex straight up punishes you for playing it as a traditional FPS.

  10. Undertale. It definitely changed my perspective on what a game can be. If you think Human Revolution is creepy in how accurately it reflects the world, try playing the original Deus Ex. Some of the stuff in that game still gives me chills.

  11. I can't say because at first when battle royal games started a couple of years ago, most people never really warmed towards them. However, then PUBG came along and shortly after that Fortnite boosted the genre's popularity. No one can predict the future of any aspects of Gaming. Time will tell.

  12. I hope we see a resurgence in Horror but I doubt it'll happen once again.

  13. I mean, you see the problems starting off so hard right from the get go. Like, for example, why the heck were there so many conditions working against the players? The limited hero pool doesn't make the achievement that enticing.

  14. I'll chime in! Star Fox Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Much much more so than OOT, go figure) Star Wars Rogue Squadron Mario Cart 64 Super Smash Bros Banjo-Kazooie As you guys can tell, the N64 was a BIG part of my childhood. Lol.

Can’t get any better at something if you’re not willing to face it. I may have failures, but I try not to let turning a deliberate blind eye to them be one of them.

  19. I can name one. In Skyrim, you can't jump and attack...I can't even imagine how they could overlook something so simple and the next one is using magic while riding a horse.

  20. Objection!... I have to agree with you there but I just love the way he says objection lol.

  21. I would make something that is complete fantasy based (wizards and warriors type of stuff) but every small choice you make changes the outcome of the game. One wrong move and you can't get a certain weapon you need for a very long time, or a dungeon is blocked off and it's pure luck that you come back later and find it open. Maybe the path to an area on the map is changed. You go to town to buy items, but forgot something. When you return to the area there's no town. You return 5 minutes later on your way through and there's a completely different settlement. You beat a few monsters and you're back at your home. Something with more twists and turns than the biggest roller coaster and corkscrew on earth. And no players guides allowed to be printed.

  22. It's quite difficult to say because a couple of years ago when battle-royale games launched on the scene, most people never really gravitated towards them at first. Then PUBG came along and Fortnite shortly after which boosted the popularity of the genre.

  23. Right, I mean animation can always improve, but for resolution I believe there is a limit for humans.
