  1. Maybe they've got PTSD about this:

  2. Why do so few games feature climbable ladders? Is it because they tend to be especially buggy or something? (I know this was a problem in The Outer Worlds, a rare game with climbable ladders—companions would climb them out into space during dialogue with other followers, and then promptly die) Or is there some other issue with them? It does not seem like it should be a difficult thing to include in games, and yet apparently it is.

  3. This pic is really old, and only covers a fraction of my games. Especially since my library has grown since then, but this is how I display my games.

  4. GameStop is exactly the same. There are tons of reports though, of management treating the employees like shit, and it being an extremely toxic place to work, however. But I still shop there. And if I have a question about a game, they are always knowledgeable and more than ready to help.

    Gaming gear

uTech Venus Smart gaming mouse. RGB, it has 12 buttons on the side, a 3x left-click button next to the left bumper, and up/down mouse speed buttons. steelseries Apex 3 TKL gaming keyboard. A membrane RGB keyboard that looks gorgeous, but its raised keys make typing a bit more difficult, especially when considering the fact it's a membrane keyboard. Still very nice, and I'm happy to continue using it. MSI Optix MAG241C gaming monitor. 1920x1080, 144Hz. Razer Blackshark V2 X gaming headset. Wired, non-detachable microphone, works best when plugged into the back of the motherboard. nobleChairs Epic 2019 Limited Edition gaming chair. Very good build quality but ultimately not recommended because, y'know, gaming chair instead of decent office chair. Gaming mat. Not much to say on this one, it's just a gaming mat with a map of the world on it.

  7. You deserves it dearie, because you've been integral part of my tremendous time being around VGR forum. When I am here, I love chatting with fellow gamers and not dropping messages too long before getting a reply for it. You've been consistently replying my messages here, and sharing good tips as well concerning games to look out for.

  8. Apart from Dead Rising 4, what other games can you recommend for the festive season of Christmas to play together with family and friends?

When there is a leader board on how's gamers progress on the Speedruns shows you how serious they are with their achievements on it.

  10. In most cases, the remasters graphics are always supposed to be better than the original graphics of any games, although some might be overdone. Just take a look at Alan Wake Remastered and the original graphics.

Monster Hunter is a great thrilling game that gives me quite an adrenaline rush whenever I play it.

  13. I believe that I actually saw a video like that as well on Instagram where the father and the son we are actually shooting each other and the father first hit the son and the son fell pretending to be dead, when the father was about to check up on him and he shot him then as well. It was quite hilarious.

  14. EA needs to get their shit together. They have failed countless times over the years with many of their games struggling on release. It's mainly because they push their developers to make unreasonable release dates, and idk why EA can't do more delays. I wonder if these studios have to get EA to approve on a delay, because I bet a lot of their games could have been saved by a couple or few delays. Anthem, Madden, and now Battlefield. It seems every game that releases these days comes with a ton of problems. I think a lot of them fall into the safety net of "Oh we'll fix it up in the next few months to a year, no biggie", so they release it in an unfinished state and make updates/changes later. Things need to change fast, because games can't keep coming out in this quality.

  16. Exactly, that's the reason why I feel like it's a good game that you can play during Christmas season to blend in with the occasion.

  17. I also kept wondering why they had to change or switch to 3rd person shooter in the Resident Evil Village. The control in 3rd person shooting is always off for me.

  18. Not a whole lot this year. I seem to start games often, but rarely do I seem to finish them. Been playing Wreckfest on PC and have been coming back to that, but I also have to run through Alan Wake Remastered as I have the two dlc side missions to do that I completely forgot about, plis the single player dlc that came out for it after. I finished: Unpacking Alan Wake Remastered - Main story done, dlc missions still to finish with American Night DLC to also complete I can't think of anything else that I finished this year. I've also started Back 4 Blood, but haven't played it since its release. There's probably some games I'm forgetting about as well.

  19. Honestly I am okay with this. I think it's better to delay a game, than release it at a time where it's just not ready. I wish more game companies actually allowed more delays. Yeah they suck to happen, and it brings everyone down, but I would rather have a bunch of delays than have another Cyberpunk 2077 or GTA Remastered Trilogy on our hands. Delays are okay.
