  1. I only uninstall a game only if and when the Flying Spaghetti Monster tells me too. Praise Be! It just so happens that he only commands me to do so when I'm done with a game or if I need the space, but that's just because he is wise.

  2. I think we have got to a point in this thread where all that needed to be said has been said. To summarise, if anyone is blacking out, getting dizzy, disorientated, headaches or anything of the sort whilst playing games, stop immediately and take a break. If it's a persistent and/or recurring problem seek medial advice. I've never been a fan of people posting medical advice on a public form, especially one where the members are almost certainly not qualified to offer a professional opinion. Because of that and the fact this thread had run it's course and can only serve to repeat itself, I'm locking this. @Icefrost, I know I speak for all of us at VGR when I say we hope this final reply finds you well.

  3. I must admit, I really don't like playing these types of games on console, so maybe I'm not the one to give advice on this. However, if there is an RTS game that plays well on console, I'd look into Xcom. I know it's not what you were asking for, but some there are some JRPGs that might scratch that itch as well.

  4. Look at call to arms. There aren’t really heroes, and no base building, other than weapon emplacements, but it’s rts, and you can go into first person with any character on your side. I love it. It’s modern combat, but they are beta testing a ww2 one that is quite similar, except there is only 3rd person, not first. Unless you enter a tank I believe. Or use a scoped weapon.

  5. There's not a whole many Real Time Strategy (RTS) games on console to begin with, but here's a quick list: Halo Wars (Xbox/PC exclusive): made with controllers in mind, Halo Wars takes place prior to the mainline games when the Spartan initiative was still around. There's more to it than its famous Warthog Rush strategy, with units that are quite customisable and have no small amount of uses in the great open maps. Starcraft II: One of the last big pushes for RTS on console, Starcraft 2 is as vanilla as they get: a story easy enough to follow, loveable characters and instantly recognisable and memorable troops and mechanics. Warhammer: Battle March: The precursor to Total War: Warhammer, a reverse-engineered 'tactical RTS' that focusses on more intimate squad play in small linear maps and progression. Keep your units and upgrade them between battles to advance through the story of the Empire, Warriors of Chaos and the Greenskins (with some Skaven and Dark Elves thrown in). I can't speak to Command & Conquer, I've never played the games myself but I've heard nothing but good things about them. And if you're playing on PS2, Goblin Commander was an alright game but I don't remember much else about it.

  6. @Yaramaki I understand your suggestion. I am going to brainstorm a solution where users who have made X amount of MEANINGFUL posts and/or have been a member at VGR for X amount of time period have the ability to edit posts for more than 10 minutes. Basically this feature would only be available to those who are considered valued contributors of the forum (which I would categorize you in).

  7. There's enough people on here who don't speak English as a first language, but still post legibly albeit with some errors. Sadly, there is also enough people who post content that's hard to understand because they don't care and are only interested in getting as many posts done as possible. Let me tell you from experience it is very easy to tell the difference. Posts that you and the other members is who don't speak English as a first language are still understandable. A few minor grammatical errors and spelling mistakes isn't going to bug anyone. It is perfectly acceptable and isn't actually what makes there "other" people's post hard to read. It's more about thier post being structured badly and convoluted because it's the act of someone typing in a rush. The act of someone who hasn't thought it through and obviously doesn't proof read anything before posting it. I believe that you make fantastic posts, and you do, because you take your time. Just because the reason you take your time is because of language difficulties, doesn't change the positive effect it has. Hell, even as a native English speaker I can take just as long as you on a post because I'm a horrible typist and make errors all the time, but taking the time I need to get it good enough, just like you do, helps a great deal. You should have seen the mess this very post would have been if I hadn't gone back... twice. I know you're disappointed that your request didn't gather the support you hoped in this this early stage (Ultimately, it's up to @DC, not me or anyone else, so you should not get discouraged anyway), but I can't be anything else but honest and I think that this is a fix for something that isn't broken. Give yourself a little credit, like I said the quality of the content you put on VGR from the very start has been superb. I could be convinced to champion for the edit window to be extended a little bit, maybe to 15 minutes, but I can't get behind 30 minutes, I'm sorry.

  8. I watched the full game play footage and to me it looks more like a proof of concept rather than the final stage. The bugs and glitches I can let slide, but what really bothers me is the contrast between sonics character model vs the world he’s in. It feel like they took 3d cartoon sonic and put him in the world of assassins creed. For me, if they changed sonics character model to match the environment while keeping what makes sonic “sonic” then I’d buy the game once the price dropped.

  9. Like I Said, after am done with the activities of the day and I retire to my hotel room at night, I don't usually fall asleep immediately so I play video games for a few minutes before calling it a day.
