The xbox one x was barely 2 years on the market before they lauched series x/s, ps4 pro like what 3 years, so surely both consoles could have lasted atleast 2 more years.

anybody knows if sf 6 is going to be multiplatform or is it going to be a ps5 exclusives again? i just don't feel like buying yet another arcade stick as these things take up a lot of space.

Best card game i remember playing was SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash on the neo geo pocket color. Man i must have put over 200 hours into that game over the years. Hmm always feels good to bring that game up so nevermind me.

Never got a conversation going about this, so let's try bumping the tread as it may have slipped trough the cracks.

I remember being laughed at school (mind you this was early 2000's) that i was into older games, back then it was nothing but junk for most people! I was getting many ps1 and sega titles from classmates in exchange for a few beers or a pack of cigarettes. They diden't care, i once traded my copy of gta 3 for a bunch of ps1 rpg's they were like 8 orso all pretty much in mint shape, most people would go on and call me an idiot for doing that trade. A copy of gta 3 i can buy anyday of the week for a few bucks, a copy of grandia i doubt i'll find it for a few dollars, pretty sure azure dreams was also in that stack. Now years later i'm still the same idiot that spends his spare money on collecting old video games or rather old junk. ☺️

I'm going to go with the yakuza games, the world to explore may be small and some woulden't call it open world perse but the world that is there is jam packed with minigames and side missions that are interesting and fun to do, something ubisoft could learn a thing or two from. If you want ps3 open world games i'd suggest : Yakuza 3,4 and 5 Infamous 1 and 2 -> great ps3 exclusives from insomniac kind of a superhero game where you get powers based on being good and bad. The saboteur -> Nobody really talks about this game anymore, but i really liked this one kind of ac during world war 2, you blow up a lot of stuff. also why not try out kingdoms of amalur and i'll name it for the hell off it Driver : san francisco. and how could i forget Dragon's dogma -> capcom's answer to skyrim, often forgotten but still well worth checking out.

Games should be fun to play to begin with, if it starts to get frustrating i usually quit immediately.

There is always last year Rims racing that kinda slipped under the radar. Surely their is TT isle of man ride on the edge 1 and 2 that weren't mentioned before, i've only played the first one which was quite good, altough a bit too hardcore for my taste.

I think you miss understood me i'm not a pc gamer, never was infact. I'm 100% console player. i'm not into consoles that were released before i was born like that atari 2600, colecovision that sort off thing.

Dirt 5 came out in 2020, forza last year. Justin11 you should check out Dirt 2 that is the highlight of the dirt series in my oppinion before they went all ghymkana and shit. Before you ask, yes you can play that on your ps3.

I always get an empty feeling when i beat a game,especially games that you put a 50+ hours in orso. Like what i'm going to play now and sometimes i don't have the motivation to start a new game.

Why would they, Konami is still a healthy company as they make a ton of money with their pachinko business.

As title says : Since both ps5/xbox series s/x have been released about a year and a half ago, mind you in the middle of the pandemic. You still can't buy them anywhere trough normal means as the only way is overpaying to a third party seller, well unless you get lucky. I feel like sony and microsoft should have delayed next gen consoles atleast a year and make sure there was as much as possible stock avaible at launch. I know the pandemic caused shortage of supply on certain parts but it could have been avoided for a part if they delayed the launch. You now have a situation where both sony and microsoft lose sales due to scalpers buying them up like crazy, money otherwise would have flowed back to the console manufacters. My mom managed to place an order for a series x back in september, she got the console in january, so i was lucky to get atleast my preferred system. Bar the loading times i don't really see much difference compared to my xbox one x. Can't talk about ps5 yet but since most of sony their exclusive are coming to ps4 i don't really see a reason either to be in a hurry to get a ps5.

Just don't buy them and let them be stuck with their consoles is the best thing you can do. But i think we should create another thread for this as i kinda want to reply in general so i'll go ahead and do that.

It's the other way around road rage was a crazy taxi clone, hit and run was a gta clone (and a good one at that). But i'm sure that is what you meant 😉 Haven't watched the simpsons in ages but since we are talking about clone games : what if they would do something simulair to the duo of south park games and create an rpg with bart or lisa as the main character with springfield as an open world game to explore make mr burns the end boss pretty sure that game is only win-win.

I always tought final fantasty games were kinda over rated but that is just me, while dragon quest games keep getting ingnored for the most part in the west. Final fantasy 13 trilogy were good games despite what others say, i enjoyed my time with it and that is what matters. Final fantasy 8 was the first ff i played and dare i say one of the first jrpg i ever beat, so out of nostalgia i'll pick that one as best game. Can't really say i like one more then the other though, never played trough any ff more then once and i doubt i played them all since there are so many spin offs and whatnot. My advice go play dragon quest 11 😀

I don't know about you but i consider series x on equal footing.

Mine is the sega sg-1000 released in 1983, it still works fine last time i booted it up even got the box and everithing with it. I'm not huge on consoles that were released before i was born, but i'm a sega fan above anything else so sega's first home console was a must buy for me.

new vegas is my favourite from the 3d fallout games series so why not.

Man are you for real 2000$ for a ps5? How stupid can people be paying 4 times the price for a console that you most likely can buy everywhere in the next year and a half orso. Are people that impatient or just plain stupid, i could get it if it was a limited edition console but for normal ps5 yeesh.

I think 5 is my least favourite (apart from gt sport), the ai was questionable at best and i played the game when it was pretty much unfinished, Kudos to them they managed they kept adding content but for me it was a little too late. One thing i've learned with gran turismo games is to play them a year after launch maybe by then they finally completed the game.

The oldest console i own is the sega sg-1000 released in july 1983 only in japan so that's also the oldest game i can play. It's kind of a pain to set up the system but i've got an old crt tv at my parents place that i can play the system if i really wanted to. However since all the early sega games are backwards compatible with a sega mark 3 or a japanese master system that is much much easier to use.

Yeah happens a lot when i had a long shift at work and if i have nothing on my hands to keep me busy, i'm getting old so i need my rest.

Since we're bumping old threads you do know that the simpsons road rage was a blatant rip off from crazy taxi? Still i remember renting the simpsons road rage for the weekend and had fun with it, albeit repetitive but you meanly stuck around because it were the simpsons in a video game.
