Can we post personal milestones here? I've hit one or should i open a new thread.
Kind of hard to believe i already made 150+ posts in the first month i'm here. Here's to many more 🥂

Kingdom come deliverance forces you to eat, not only that but food can get spoiled over time and your character will remind you when they are hungry. You will here the phrase i'm feeling kinda hungry quite often especially early game. It's a game everybody into rpg's and medieval period atleast should have played once.
Another game i can vaguely remember altough i don't like bringing it up is shenmue 3 i believe your health is going down if you haven't eaten in a while or when you were involved in a fight health doesen't automaticly recover. But the less said about shenmue 3, the better.
Think Far cry primal (god who remembers that game) also had something similair that you coulden't acess the snowy mountains if you diden't have a certain clothing item or you would freeze to death. Same with Biomutant where you had to obtain a special suit first before you could enter a toxic area.
I think Tamagotchi should be worth mentioning, since every kid in the late 90 ies had one of these. Man how many times mine died 😄

Looks like i won't be getting any mail sometime soon, since japan post suspended delivering mail to europe and since it's been pilling up so here is the stuff from the past 2 months orso. Meanly stuck with the 3 systems i'm meanly collecting for at the moment japanese xbox, xbox 360 and wii u.
Og Xbox pick ups, think i'm down to 175 out 222 games released in japan, so it's just a matter of chipping away at it, got most of the expensive stuff already, hopefully i can complete it this year well if i don't get sidetracked that is :

 
Xbox 360. trying to round out the collectors editions, pretty sure i have 90% of the collectors editions released in japan now, as for games i'm not really far off to have everithing it's just a matter of feeling to get all the sports games : 

And wii u, i've got some found memories for the system so that's why i collect for it. One of my top 10 jrpg's off all time is still trapped there btw. There are only a little over 100 physical games released in japan so it's something i'm aiming for to complete. Not going super hard on it, if i can find a deal i'll take it but i'm not in a rush. Also a lost shikigami no shiro limited edition on the ps2 because i had no clue where to put it :

And the best for last, i need to stop buying dreamcast consoles since it's going to ruin me haha. Now i see how much i suck at taking pictures, anyway got a good deal on it, in terms i can easily make a profit on it if i was to sell it on ebay.  But it's a keeper, it's said only 200 were made, but it shows up a little too often for that so probably more like 2000. This is probably going to be one of the best picks up of the year for me, very happy with it, it looks like it's never been used until i tested it out :

 

I agree, at the end of the day is it really worth bothering, sueing that website is likely going to take time/effort and money seems like a waste of both. 

You should get the game with the cover art below, not the one released in 1999 😉 , but man if you lived in europe i'd just send you a stack of ps3 games to keep you busy :
 

Don't really know what to call it so it will have to do for now. As title says and i won't deny it i like to collect and buy videogames, most forums i used to visit were collector based so they all had these sort of threads so here we go, post video game and video game related stuff you bought, pictures are a must imo so we know what you are talking about. Pretty much anything goes aslong it's somewhat related to video games.
It would be cool if we could get a thread and conversation going about pick ups.
 
As for myself i kind off went on a bargain hunting spree for current gen games the past week orso, some games i really wanted to play but diden't want to pay full price and a few i toke a chance on because they looked interesting. Grid legends is the only game i paid full price for. I'm normally more of a collector for the older stuff but you'll find that out pretty soon. I've got about 50 more games i picked up the past few weeks just waiting on a few more packages to post those.

Just finished up Greedfall yesterday, while mediocre in gameplay i'm glad i stuck around for the entire game because the story and questlines were quite good.
I'll probably start watch dogs 2 this afternoon, i coulden't get into it the first time but some folks here are very positive about it so may aswell give it another go.

No, playstation 3 discs can't be played on a ps1 console. Just ps1 discs on a ps3 console.

I think the board is just full of bots copying threads from this board, the weird thing is when you look at the members their join date is that they only logged in once and made over 5000 posts in a single day, i doubt any human is capable of posting that much posts in 24 hours.

It was the most logic thing to do, now publishers can have the spotlight on themselves whenever they want. During E3 it's always hectic to follow all the announcements and most smaller games slip trough the cracks that way.

I'll just be honest and gave my vote to the green ranger. It was a toss up between him and crazycrab so next month i'll give him my vote.

Both have their good and bad sides, sony has always been master in getting the maximum result out of their competiters mistakes, they won 2 generations that way. They already won with the ps4 before it even launched since microsoft fucked the launch of the xbox one so bad it hurts my eyes when i think about it.
I've always been more of an xbox guy then a playstation fan, surely i like both but if i can play a game on xbox that's where i will play it. This has nothing to do with being a fanboy.
The original xbox was the first console i bought on launch day with my own money i saved up for months ahead, had to go trough hell and back to get that money haha. Since It only felt the logic thing to do after the dreamcast died and there were so many sega exclusives on the og xbox it made sense for me to get it. Ever Since then i stuck around with xbox being my platform of choice. Does it really matter no because i end up buying both xbox and playstation consoles anyway

after about 80 hours orso i finally got every achievement in Grid legends. Truly a great racer that finds a perfect balance between arcade and simulation. Go check it out if you love racing games because there is a lot to like about the game.

My 2 cents for what it's worth :
-> Get atleast one more Moderator or maybe 2, i think the forum is just way too busy for 2 people who have have a full time job and family stuff going on, you can correct me on that if i'm wrong. Either just give them access to the gaming part of the forum which is the busiest part instead of the whole board. 
-> I'm not really a fan of discord, so i'll just leave it at that. I find it weird to use and don't really get why it's so populair, but then again i'm old and ways off with modern technology.
->While we are on the subject the forum already has more then enough section so adding another section to just chat if you really want to do that go ahead but isen't that what the general chat section is about.
-> I'd say the whole board could use a little overhaul, the subsection videogames and platforms could be moved together because in theory they are just the same thing. For the rest of the board i'll admit i don't ever really use it since i come here to talk about games with like minded people. The mainstream topics like what's going on the world i already discuss enough in daily life.

In agree with @The Blackangel about the long out conversations being pointless but I'm not gonna nominate anybody since imo it should go to someone who's posts contribute towards the community in a positive way and posts that make sense and i haven't been here for too long so i feel like i've not got the right to do so.
Since we are on the subject of long drawn out conversations : I know it's not not a populair oppinion but a lot of threads especially in the general gaming section go on for way too long to the point it doesen't really have anything to do with the topic in particulair. It makes it hard to read trough all "spam" posts and takes up way more time then it should be to fish out the quality posts.  If you wanna chat why not use the general chat section instead.

A remake came out last year but it's only avaible on apple arcade don't know if it's avaible on the Istore as standalone game, but will moslikely come to consoles in the near future i suppose
 
 

You're damn right, even if you just buy your games digital you still have the option of the disc drive, needless to say you have options to not being stuck to the ps store alone.

I picked this up on the cheap and have enjoyed it for what's it worth, get's kinda repetitive after a while tough. Doubt they will ever remake it, since all i heard it sold very badly. But they remade the wonderful 101 so you may never know.
As angry video game nerd would say What were they thinking? Putting a bloody gory game on a family friendly console.

I don't really have a problem with microtransactions if they are optional and don't disturb normal gameplay. I don't really get developers on this either, since it does  more harm then good for their games. Take the recent backlash Gran turismo 7 is taking because let's be honest, what a dick move from sony to include microtransactions a few weeks after launch it not also makes them look like money greedy assholes. GT7 on the ps5 costs already 10 bucks more the usual price, pretty sure it costs damn near 75 euros over here. 
I don't really play multiplayer so can't really talk too much about that. Like i said free to play games are something i stay away from, if they offer the whole experience for a fixed price, i'll gladly try some of them out. I always wanted to play Genhsin impact but since it's free to play i'm not going to bother why they don't offer it as a complete game for a fixed price i'll never understand. 
Maybe i'll just need to get over the fact that games are nothing but consumables these days, you're done with them and move onto the next to be never played again. It's kinda saddening since kids who grow up these days are not likely to be able to play a game from their childhood again if they ever want to offcourse.
Who am i to comment on somebody who likes free to play games and should they spend money on it or not. I think it's a waste of money and that's what the original title off the topic says.
but then again if i spend 15 bucks at mcdonalds and another person spends 15 bucks on something they get hours of enjoyment off and it makes them happy. I'm most likely the real loser in this scenario 😉

No idea why you're comparing Need for speed with Gran turismo as both are completly different games. Need for speed is an arcade racer, GT is a sim racer. It's like comparing apples to oranges doesen't really make a whole lot of sense.
The best thing Ea can do is reevaluate the Need for speed series and get back to what made the series populair and give the franchise to a capable studio because Ghost clearly isen't able to make a decent need for speed game. Ea owns codemasters and slightly made studios now so why not let them make a Need for speed game. 

Why not try Driver : San francisco on your ps3 my man gives you something else to play then mgp games 😉, Driver san francisco may suprise you as it's quite good and holds up fairly well. The story may be over the top but The shift mecanic int he game is really quite something you have to experience and wonder why no other racing game has used this since.
Pretty sure you can find a copy for dirt cheap somewhere in a gamestop or online.
With that said Ubisoft should bring back the driver franchise, i mean use the map of the crew and the shift mecanic and you have already have a winner on your hands.

I think nintendo is imo the most innovative company, i mean they reinvented themselves with the Wii console, got a stinker (albeit great system imo) with the wiiu and bounced back with the switch. 
Take any recently inhouse developed game by nintendo there is always something innovative in their games, Mario oddysey pretty much revamped the mario franchise, Breath of the wild gives you a sense of freedom i've experienced in maybe a handful of games. Super smash brothers is kinda the ultimate tournament f and local co-op fighter. Super mario maker while pretty much a creation tool, it's a game you could in theory play endlessly. Fire emblem three houses dare i say it's best strategy Rpg i have played. Should i go on😉

I don't know but underrated to me is something that is good but is likely going to be overlooked in time as time passes on will be more appreciated. GT 7 is not one of those games, were did i even bring this up that GT7 would be an underrated game.
