I have become pretty burned out when it comes to Call of Duty. The last Call of Duty I really enjoyed was Black Ops 3 and after that, they just kind of became stale for me with nothing really new coming to the game. 
I have checked the trailer out for Modern Warfare 3 2023 and as much as it does look good, I can't help but feel as though it is again, something that isn't much new and just the same old. 
I may give it a try as I know my other half may be picking it up but it may be another game I miss again this year. 

I am so sorry for your loss. I do hope that you mum gets a great send off with her funeral. It is never easy to lose a loved one and especially someone as close as your mother. Thoughts are with you and your family at this time.
I will be catching up on some work today myself and getting things organized for the week ahead. I have a parents evening tomorrow as well as my shopping day so a busy day for me tomorrow.

When it comes to announcing any kind of release date, it would be a fool’s errand to actually put any real stock in whatever date they give. These days, everything in gaming gets bumped back at least twice. Many things get bumped back more than twice.
For what it’s worth, a lot of gamers consider the Oled to be the “Switch 2” if you will.
For my opinion, I honestly don’t know where they could really go from here. They have VR, and have released a hybrid system which is one of the most popular Nintendo devices ever. So if you ask me, they have kinda shot them selves in the foot.

My mother's funeral is on Wednesday. 
After that, I will have to think things through carefully. It's gonna be hard not having my mum around any longer. 

I have owned every Game Boy version, as well as random attachments like the Light Boy. I still play it to this day. But I played on a GBASP, since it can just be recharged instead of having to buy batteries all the damn time. I loved it as a kid, and love it now.

Muscle memory is a very real thing in gaming I will admit. There have been many times when I have come away from a game for a while and as soon as I go back on it, it's like I never stopped playing it and my game play and what buttons and such I need to hit and use tend to come back to me naturally. Muscle memory really is a great thing which I do believe can also help with memory skills which are very important through life and as we get older. 

I am a firm believer that it does help sharpen your memory skills. I believe any game you play can help with your memory skills as every game takes some kind of remembering whether it be a strategy that you need to remember or memorize or even something you did to get past a level in a game, it all adds up and helps with your memory skills.

I've played it before, but honestly it's never really been fun to me. I know for it's time it was a state of the art game, but the gameplay is just too slow, boring, and monotonous. I only played it a little bit before playing a different game.

Nor can I - although, I wouldn't have gone into any arcades until the early 2000s, by which point Frogger wasn't exactly cutting-edge 😛 . 

I first used TheRavenfreak, but I couldn't remember my password so when I got my Xbox 360 hooked up to Xbox Live, I just went with DARKSOUL12 and use that account still to this day. I have a second account since I forgot my Microsoft login for my DARKSOUL12 account. :V It's just a randomly generated username, I'm probably going to try and change it though.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a game that like myself, many fans of the series and RPG enthusiasts are eagerly looking forward to. I'm sure that many are excited about the opportunity to play the next series of the Baldur's Gate on Xbox. RPG isn't my favorites' niche, I'm more of a Battle Royale person but still love to see what new video games have to offer. Thank you for the insight into the title too, Shortie. 

Cheating while playing games not only ruins the gaming experience for others, but you are not improving your skillset if your letting AI do the work for you. I would suggest to  approach games with integrity, embracing them for their intended experience. I have seen competitive players get terminated and even legal action taken against them for cheating live on stream too. Something to avoid big time. 

I can't say that I have ever played Witcher 3 Wild Hunt but I hear so many people going on about it and how they love the game and the character Geralt. It's definitely a game that I would love to try when I have the time though!
 
 

If you are someone who is waiting for Baldur's Gate to launch on Xbox, you may be wondering when there will be a date given for the release of the game on Xbox. 
As you may know, Baldur's Gate is releasing on the PlayStation 5 very soon but no actual release date has been confirmed yet for an Xbox release. Larian Studios though have spoken out and confirmed that those waiting for the game on Xbox will see a release before 2023 ends leaving a short period of time where a release date could be.
Are you waiting for Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox? 

Fall Guys has been released now for just over a year and even though many were excited to play the game and see it become free to play on all platforms, you can't help but realize just how much the game is lacking at the moment. 
I know we are getting updated Show Passes every once in a while and we also see different game modes featured on Fall Guys as well as seeing custom game modes as well from the community but aside from that, there is only so much you can play in Fall Guys and it can leave you feeling burned out quite quickly.
What are your thoughts on Fall Guys? Do you feel more could be added to the game to allow players more to choose from?

I myself have four kids, one of them is now an adult and my daughter is also going to be an adult in October, I then have a 14 and 15 year old (going to be 16 in December) and I have always allowed them to play games as they tend to hang out with their friends online and play games such as Fortnite or even Apex Legends. 
I found that it helps them to relax and chill out after things such as school and college and they seem to feel a lot better for it being able to shut off in a game with their friends.
Many people feel that too much console time for kids can result in addiction which I believe can in some cases and it's always wise to monitor your kids time on consoles but I have found that my kids will head out, leave the console for a while and do other things and I haven't had to worry about the addiction side of it. 
My kids are also all doing well in school and both my two eldest children have completed school with great grades and have gone to college as well. The school my kids go to encourage kids to do what they enjoy in their spare time once they have completed homework and such as they realize it can benefit their mental health.

I have played it myself and it is an amazing game and at this price, it's definitely worth grabbing 🙂

I don't think any major AAA titles should be ported to the Switch. Most Switch ports usually have technical limitations, but the Switch is six years old at this point so it's no wonder why it falls behind. The portable aspect of the Switch doesn't affect gameplay in my opinion, unless you only have a Switch Lite. You can always play the Switch docked, that's usually how I play mine anyways.

I've been collecting video games since I was young, so I prefer to have physical games than digital ones. There's just something about seeing the case on my shelf that makes me happy. Also I can just pop in the disc whenever I feel like playing a game or the cartridge and don't have to worry about losing access to the game. I've seen it numerous times where games got delisted from digital stores for whatever reason and the value of physical games go up because there's no easy way to play it unless you own a physical copy.

Not going to lie and say that I didn't see this coming as I did and I for one am very happy to see it's finally got to this stage. 
Unfortunately, Trump really did feel as though he was above the law even before he became President and even after and really thought he could get away with so much. 
I do hope this goes as far as it needs to because he deserves it as do those who supported him.

I am definitely looking forward to this collection! As someone who loves the Gex games I'm happy we're finally getting modern ports of the games. I'm shocked it took them this long though. Now I am hoping we'll be getting a new Gex game in the future, but I highly doubt it. Anyways I'll definitely be preorder this once preorders go live. I'll get it for both the PS5 and Steam for mods.

I can't say I have but would be willing to try it out at some point 🙂 I do like games where you need to grind, played so much Destiny 2 in the past and loved that game and that is very much a game you need to grind as well.
