  1. The only reason my Switch is able to hold so many games is because I have a 512g micro SD card in it. And it's just a hair over half full. Plus I have a lot of space left on the system memory. I'm waiting to get a 1t card when the price comes down.
  2. I have 122 DDL's on my Switch. A lot of them I either haven't gotten around to playing for one reason or another, or haven't fully explored. I'm going to list them, and anyone who has played any of the games, I want to get your honest opinions. I'm not going to say which ones I have played, or how much I have played it, because I want this to be as unbiased on my part, as I believe that will illicit more honest opinions on the parts of those responding. All the games are listed in alphabetical order to make it easier to search. I also have 23 games on cartridges, but those I'm going to leave off for now. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ A Knight's Quest Active Neurons 2 Agony Akane Aldred Knight American Fugitive Amnesia: Collection Among The Sleep - Enhanced Edition Anodyne Aqua Lungers Ascendance Assassin's Creed The Rebel Collection (AC Black Flag, AC Rogue) Astro Bears ATV Drift & Tricks Beholder Blasphemous Bleed Complete Bundle (Bleed, Bleed 2) Blood Breed Bloodstained: Curse Of The Moon 1,2 Boomerang Fu Bouncy Bob Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger Caretaker Castle Of Heart Child Of Light Ultimate Edition Classic Games Collection Volume 1 Conarium Cosmic Star Heroine Creaks Creepy Tale Cuphead Curse Of The Dead Gods Cyber Complex Defunct Degrees Of Separation Deponia Dex Ding Dong XL Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Drawngeon: Dungeons Of Ink And Paper Dungeon Nightmares 1+2 Collection Earthworms Elemental Knights R Endless Fables: Dark Moor Endless Fables: Shadow Within Escape Game Fort Boyard Evil Inside Eyes: The Horror Game Fight Crab Flashback Fobia FutureGrind Galaxy Warfighter Goblin Sword Gone Home Grimvalor Hades Half Dead Hand Of Fate 2 Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Him & Her Hollow Indygo Infernium Infini Infliction Jumping Joe & Friends Layers Of Fear: Legacy Limbo Lydia Make A Killing MIND Path To Thalamus Moto Rush GT NecroWorm Not Not - A Brain Buster Outlast 1,2 Overlanders Paratopic Poly Puzzle Postal REDUX Projection R-Type Dimensions EX Redneck Skeet Shooting Remnants Of Naezith Remothered: Broken Porcelain Revenge Of The Bird King REZ PLZ Riddled Corpses EX Ruiner Seeders Puzzle Reboot Shalnor Legends: Sacred Lands Singled Out Skull Rogue Slender: The Arrival Snake Pass Sniper Snowboarding The Next Phase Soul Searching Stardew Valley Submerged Suicide Guy Syberia 1,2 Sydney Hunter And The Curse Of The Mayan The Child's Sight The Great Perhaps The Longing The Room The Way Remastered Thief Simulator Tonight We Riot Trancelation UBERMOSH:SANTICIDE Unravel Two Vampire's Fall: Origins Vigil: The Longest Night Warlocks 2: God Slayers Wunderling
  3. As has been said, it might get you a few pointers, but I wouldn't rely on anything you got from a game if you were to take actual flying lessons. Games tend to sensationalize things to a point that is completely false. It's possible that the only thing the game would get right is the word "airplane". So anything you got, or think you got, from a game should be taken with a grain of salt, if that much. Rely on what an actual pilot instructor tells and teaches you. Worry about flight simulator games later after you get a license. As I said about TMNT, you can't learn to drive a car from Need For Speed.
  4. I downloaded Hades a few days ago, but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. What's your thoughts on it?
  5. Seconded. Every gamer has different desires with games, and different viewpoints. I wasn't happy when Links Awakening was remade, but I was curious. I got it, and while it has much more attractive graphics, the changes that were made and added just ruined the game for me. So I still vastly prefer it on Game Boy.
  6. I watch the occasional video on his channel. I don't follow him too closely though. But despite that, he does a lot of good reporting on the goings on in the gaming world that is often need to know. But that's depending on gaming preferences and habits. For example, I don't give a half a shit about Halo or CoD. So any reports about either of them means nothing to me.
  7. That's one hell of a fuck up. I have seen you guys talk about it, but never saw a news article about it. Not sure how I missed it, but nevertheless, I did.
  8. I never really put a lot of thought into how they got their sound effects, but crushing/crunching up vegetables would have been last on my list, assuming it was on my list at all. If anything I would have thought the sound effects were purely digital and created from nothing on a computer. Shows what I know, don't it?
  9. I suffer from depression the same as other members here, such as @Shagger mentioned. I've had to have a gun talked out of my hand many times. Last night for example, I was ready, willing, and wanted to die. I started crying one time, because I knew for a fact I was going to do it and I was scared. I had a gun in my mouth and it was cocked. Games are an escape sure, but it's like substance abuse. When you come back to the real world, your depression didn't leave. It was just put on pause for a brief moment and hits you hard when it's taken off pause. If you're able to do so, go for a walk. Get a fur baby and play with them. Indulge in an art project. The creation of something is more rewarding than you may think. Take a class, or just assign yourself homework for something you want to learn or do. Meditate. I'm not saying give up something you enjoy. That will only make your depression worse. Continue gaming. But don't try to use it as something to help your depression. Because I'll tell you right now, it doesn't work.
  10. The Fractured Butthole sucked. I wasn't a fan of Stick Of Truth, but Fractured Butthole was worthless. I recommend not wasting your money on it.
  11. I would love to have a CRT TV to game on, but the space they take and the weight are just more than I can set up for at the moment. I have a little 19" flat screen that I have my old systems hooked up to, and it serves its purpose. The PS4 and Xbox One are hooked up to the same TV that I use as my computer monitor, but the older systems are all hooked up to the mini TV.
  12. I haven't built one before, but I have repaired several. The games I fixed were mostly older games like Joust, Pac-Man, and Donkey Kong. I repaired a few of the newer ones as well. Mostly fighting games like Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat. But I've never actually built one of my own. It wouldn't be hard to do. Especially if you went with an emulator console, and wired the arcade controls into the replica system controller.
  13. Like you said, eSports doesn't have the enormous fandom like Hollywood movies or music does. Some fame is fine, but when you can't even take a shit without a line of people waiting at the door to the bathroom wanting a pic or autograph, that's when it's gone too far. And yes that exact thing has happened. I don't remember who it was, but there was some actor that was out to eat, and when he came out of the bathroom, there was a literal line of people wanting pics and autographs as if it was a damn meet and greet. Personally, I'm looking to take acting lessons to try to get some voice over gigs. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to do so, but here's hoping.
  14. I wouldn't even try. The types of games they play in tournaments are games that I either just don't enjoy, or am unable to play for a variety of reasons. So it would be a moot point and a waste of time for me.
  15. Playing as John and going back into places like New Hanover and Lemoyne is pretty interesting. It's like living your whole life in one country with one culture, then suddenly being thrust into another country in another culture. The game takes on a whole different atmosphere in the epilogue when you play as John. A depressing atmosphere. He runs into a couple from the old days. Charles and Uncle help build the farm. Charles does anyway. You run into Tilly in St Denis. You see MaryBeth in Valentine. Sadie finds you at the farm. You and Sadie find Dutch and Micah on the mountain. Pearson is a butcher in Valentine I think. It may be Rhodes or Strawberry, but I think it was Valentine. Swanson went to NY. There's no official word in RDR2 about where Bill, Javier, Karen, or Trelawny are. It is hinted at that Karen drank herself to death. Personally I think Javier may have returned to Mexico, or fallen in with the Del Lobos gang. Bill and Trewlany I can't say, because I can't think of a valid excuse for them, even though at the right point, you can find Trewlany at his home with his wife and kids in St Denis, when you're playing as Arthur.
  16. A remake takes everything away from it. It's more than a classic. It's a staple of the childhood of an entire generation. No game prior was like it. No game since either. It's a stand alone in the entire Legend Of Zelda franchise. Play it on an emulator if you have to, but don't desecrate it by trying to remake it. As for current gamers not knowing what a cartridge is, have you ever seen a Nintendo Switch? Granted they are tiny, and the size of an SSD card, but they're still a cartridge.
  17. Not a bad buy. I have 3 or 4 of them lying around here. They're good and reliable consoles. The memory cards are often a bitch to find, but the games are pretty well rounded for the era.
  18. As long as it doesn't move into a situation like the movies Avatar and Surrogates. If we end up in that state, I think a lot of people will go one of two ways. Completely reliant, or completely opposed. The divide would be extreme.
  19. I've never even played an eSports game. Also I don't know who any of the gamers are. I could be sitting next to a world champion at a restaurant, and I would never know it.
  20. Doesn't surprise me. Americans prefer stereotypes over facts. It has to be either more entertaining, or more comforting. Or both. Otherwise, Americans will reject it. We're basically ignorant pansies.
  21. Ok, who are some of your favorite YouTubers and your favorite channels? Mine are: Corpse Husband Mr. Nightmare Lazy Masquerade MrBallen Repzion Farron Balanced The Ring Of Fire I used to watch several others almost religiously, but have since lost a lot of interest in them. Channels like Slapped Ham, Most Amazing Top 10, Matthew Santoro, and Rob Gavagan just to name a few. I was even a channel member of 3 channels at one point, but am now just a channel member of Repzion.

    Gym

It's a neuromuscular disease. It deteriorates the muscles of the body, and also affects the brain and heart. The heart is a muscle after all. Over time a person gets weaker and weaker. The form of MD that I have is actually terminal. My life expectancy is not much past 50, if that. But that's not what this thread is about. So lets get back to talking about going to the gym here.
