  1. I played Dance Maniax a lot. It’s similar to DDR, but you wave your hands over sensors instead.
  2. Swordquest: Airworld never got released.😢 I remember playing Fireworld and Earthworld, and still playing them today. Waterworld is extremely rare, but Airworld, while it was planned, never got made. There was something I mentioned in another thread, but I can’t remember what it was at the moment.
  3. They did a small version already in the Switch port of Links Awakening, but I think a Zelda Maker would be interesting. Final Fantasy Maker would also be interesting, but would have to be specific to specific entries in the series, or it would have to be something new entirely.
  4. The Shadow Dungeon and Bottom Of The Well in Zelda OoT. I get that they needed something creepy to fit the atmosphere of each dungeon, but they tried too damn hard with this one. They went past creepy, straight into annoying as hell. I have to mute the TV to make it through that dungeon without putting a bullet in the TV.
  5. It takes something completely different to scare me. This kind of shit would be more annoying than anything. But considering who has been in power the last 3½ years, all you have to do is talk to someone Hispanic and you will realize that Americans have been living in option 4.
  6. TMNT and Zelda 2 were so easy. I don’t get where people are getting the idea that they were hard games to beat. Zelda 2 could be a little cryptic in some areas, but that would last for all of 5 seconds. Legacy Of The Wizard is the one that gets my vote. To beat it you have to find 4 crowns to wake a dragon so that you can kill it. I’ve been playing the game for 30 fucking years and have so far found only ONE GOD DAMN CROWN. So if you’re looking for hard, then you’ve found it.
  7. I played the first two quite a bit, but haven’t for several years now. They were good, but not quite to the level I was expecting. So much hype and negative press, so I thought they would be awesome. But they really cut corners with the supposed “brutality”.
  8. Hatred. I relate more and more with The Antagonist every day. I feel his rage. I feel his hate. I feel his loss of tolerance for the disease that is homo sapien. It’s just luck that I can go on a killing spree with this game, so I don’t do it in real life. Violent games can save lives people.
  9. Occasionally. Sometimes it’s a breath of fresh air to play something with no real objective. If you’re getting burned out on having to go for a goal all the time, but still want to be gaming, then you need this.
  10. Sometimes, yes I do. That’s when I put the game up for a long while because it means I’ve burned out on it. When I get the urge to play again, then I do. Some of my games have been sitting for years because I burned out on them so bad. It’s part of the reason why I hate tetris so much. Nothing changes. It’s the exact same thing in the exact same screen over and over and over.
  11. They're rare, but yes there are female wizards. For example, in Legacy Of The Wizard on NES, Meyna is strictly a magic user, and uses her magic for good which makes her a wizard (wizardess?). If you go through the Final Fantasy series, there's also female wizards there. There are also a lot of NPC's in games that are female wizards. The most obvious example is Zelda. Edea and Rinoa in FF8 are both wizards. They're called sorceress' in the game, but they're not evil, so I would call them wizard.
  12. I agree with both of you there. You will be hard pressed to find an American band or solo musician with any real talent. But that's mainstream. It's part of the reason I listen to underground music, with only a couple exceptions. My all time favorite band will always be Disturbed. There's no other way to put it. Linkin Park is amazing as well. But to name some bands I love as well that aren't mainstream: Arch Enemy Broken Hope Cradle Of Filth Deicide Dimmu Borgir Kreator Marduk Six Feet Under Suicide Silence And some that I'm not sure to call them mainstream or not: Amaranthe (thank you @Shagger) Hatebreed DevilDriver Rammstein This is just a short list of the ones I could list without going through my entire music library.
  13. Often the title of the magic user is a clue to whether they're good or evil. A wizard is usually more toward the good side, while a sorcerer is usually termed so because it's more of an evil magic user.
  14. Equal rights, yes. Equal privileges, no. Rights should be automatic. Clean food, clean water, shelter, etc. Privileges are like respect. It must be earned, and never granted.
  15. 99.9% of all the simulator games that are out now. They are so damn stupid. The next one will be Show How Much Of An Asshole You Are By Buying This Game Simulator. The really sad thing is that it will sell like crazy. One game that came out on SNES, and frighteningly enough was ported to Switch, is Shaq-Fu.
  16. I have 3 ROM-hacks. All 3 are Zelda games, and all 3 are SNES games. Zelda: Goddess Of Wisdom Zelda: Parallel Worlds Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets Goddess Of Wisdom is the hardest game I have ever played in my life. Hard to the point that it took me over a year to beat the third dungeon. The game requires specific attack forms. For example, the boss in the third dungeon can only take damage from a spin attack. A normal sword slash does nothing. And you’re given no warning. Bosses from Link To The Past are just dungeon monsters and block your progress 4 rooms in. It’s a blood boiler. If I remember correctly, haven’t touched it this year at all due to how angry I get at it’s difficulty. And it’s not even the hardest of the three! A challenge is a great thing, but the difficulty level of this game is just flat out cruel.
  17. I have several CIB games. NES and SNES mainly. I only have one on N64, unfortunately.
  18. I doubt any gaming systems could ever obtain the strength and sheer power to run any kind game that looks fully real. To have a processor that could handle such a task is way beyond current gaming capabilities. And as already mentioned, RDR2 is right next to lifelike.
  19. I’ve never had this issue. Nor have I heard of anyone else having it. Are you sure it’s not an isolated incident?
  20. Wow, that’s a hard one. There are so many games I played as a kid that don’t really have an ending. Pac-man, Asteroids, Frogger, Q*Bert, and so on. If I have to give a title I would put it on SMB. The only real problem I had as a 5 year old, was getting the pattern correct in 8-4 to get to Bowser.
  21. 14😲
  22. You're one of only a handful that are willing to see what's going on here. Be ready though, because there's a moronic asshole that is so gullible that he constantly tries to convince not only himself, but everyone else that Adolf has done anything other than give Nazis a foothold in the US government.
  23. You also have to remember that Sony owns Blu-ray format. The disc is their patented property. So they can continue to make money off those discs, by using them or leasing them to another developer. So I see no slowing down for them with disc systems. I'm sure the PS6 and PS7 will have the disc option as well. But that's 20 years from now, and in that much time, things can drastically change. Humans may not even be here at that point. I don't plan. I improvise. There's no point in planning, because you don't know if you'll be here in 5 seconds.
  24. Hatred definitely has a dark atmosphere. It's part of why I love the game so much. Another good one is Layers Of Fear: Legacy. It has a Rose Red vibe to it. I'm always on the lookout for dark and dismal games. As for being scary, none have ever bothered me. No nightmares, no being creeped out.
  25. Mortal Kombat? Street Fighter? Mario Bros? I think we're a bit past worrying about whether a live action movie made off a game looks ridiculous.
