I know, but they’re never gonna stop. So I thought maybe this could possibly at least curb it a bit.

We’re getting a lot of people coming in and spamming the forums trying to promote their YouTube channel, or some game they’re working on or some other bullshit. So the idea hit me to start a thread specifically for spammers to have a place to post whatever, so that everyone doesn’t have to weed through it to find the worthwhile posts and threads.

I'm considering getting a tarantula. My question is, has anyone here had a tarantula? What species did you have? How was its temperament? Was it comfortable being handled? What was its habitat setup? Pretty much anything you can tell me. Also my biggest question, is what species you would recommend for a first timer. I've been reading at http://www.tomsbigspiders.com and there's a great list of suitable species for beginners. There's a few I like, but I want to see what those that have had them have to say. I had a scorpion when I was a teenager, and know how to handle them. But even though they are both arachnids, that's like comparing a dog and a bird. So any advice? I'm all ears.

You don't want to bring that up in Missouri. A lot of the lunatics here are going on and on about the coronavirus being no more serious than a runny nose. I'm not trying to get in a political debate, but they're republicans. There's also both republicans and democrats that are trying to educate them that the coronavirus is a serious disease, but they won't budge from their lunacy. And they go nuclear in the attacks on anyone that challenges their idiotic and ignorant opinion. Political parties aside, I just wish people would accept facts, without making themselves the authority on something they know nothing about.

Does anyone else do this? Whenever I start a new file on Zelda OoT, I always make up a cheatsheet pertaining to gold skulltulas. I list each temple and put checkboxes next to it so that I can check off each time I get a skulltula. that way I know if I have gotten all of them in that temple or not, so that I can get all 100. And that if I miss any I don't have to go back through every temple trying to figure out where the hell I missed one. I don't think it takes away from the game or anything. It just helps me keep track. Due to the MD, I have no short term memory so I wouldn't have the slightest clue if I had gotten one or not without it. And If I missed any, that would ruin the whole game for me. So I keep the experience fun by doing this one simple thing. So does anyone else make their own cheatsheets for any games?

My back has been absolutely killing me for the last week. If the pain doesn't stop or lessen, I may be taking a trip to the ER. I hate hospitals though, so I'm trying to put that off as long as I can.

It helps keep my violence in check. Also I love watching anything in which a human is suffering and in pain. Their screaming is beautiful music to me. I love listening to them beg, promising them release, and then breaking that promise just to see the despair in their eyes. Unfortunately that’s not something I can easily get away with IRL. I’m not the Zodiac, or Jack The Ripper. So the more unimaginable pain I can inflict on a character, both mentally and physically, the more I enjoy the game. The sad thing is that the best I have found so far is Hatred. It’s a lot more tame than what I want/need, but it’s better than nothing.

I’ve never played a Bioshock game, but I think I may be able to offer something here. I remember when Castlevania SOTN came out, a lot of people were saying that it wasn’t a true Castlevania game because the protagonist that you play as wasn’t Richter Belmont, but instead was Dracula’s son, Alucard. Also a lot of people I know have always refused to play Majoras Mask because it’s “not a true Zelda game”. All too often, if a game deviates from its normal storyline people reject it. Link wasn’t saving Zelda from Ganon in Hyrule. Hence not a Zelda game. And I don’t know how many people I’ve talked to that refused to play Links Awakening on Game Boy, some even refuse to admit that the Switch version is a remake.

It’s been so long since I’ve played a game that I could customize a character like that, that I honestly don’t remember. In actuality, I don’t even know IF I have ever even played a game with that feature.

Typically I watch TV while I game. I don’t play music when I game on average.

I haven’t touched Skyrim since that night, as I’m still pissed at it. When a bug/glitch fucks up my game, it sours me on it for a few weeks on average. I haven’t played Zelda Goddess Of Wisdom for several months now. It’s not a glitch but the problem is the boss in the third temple. You have to pull a very specific move to inflict damage. Anything else does absolutely nothing. It’s completely invincible to any other form of attack. But it still has the same effect on me.

It’s a great game, and I was enjoying the hell out of it, but WTF?!

I actually bought 4 Switch games recently. 2 are digital downloads and the other 2 are physical copies. Warlocks 2: God Slayers (DDL) The Way Remastered (DDL) Titan Quest Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince I haven’t gotten around to playing all of them as of yet, but I will soon.

Everyone I’ve talked to and every review of the Castlevania universe has called it the worst one. I never understood why.

For a while I could have agreed with you about AC. I hated it for a long time. But recently I decided to give it one final shot and loved it. But it also falls into the type of games I’m a fan of. I like single player fantasy games. Zelda has always been one of my absolute favorites. If Zelda had never been created, I most likely wouldn’t be making this post because I probably wouldn’t be a gamer. Now that’s not to sat that I’ve loved every entry in the franchise. I hated Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess. And don’t even get me started on the abomination that was Wind Waker. I’m also a major Castlevania fan. One of my favorites was Simon’s Quest, even though it’s considered the worst Castlevania in the franchise.

I tried that. It didn't do anything. Actually none of the buttons, or button combinations changed perspective. I'll chock that one up to being a PS3 edition bug.

I bought a couple new games off the Nintendo eShop yesterday. I bought The Way Remastered and I got Warlocks 2: God Slayers. I haven't really played them yet, but they looked great so I'm looking forward to really getting them going. I just wish Hatred was available in their eShop.

Skyrim. But from what @Crazycrab was telling me in the thread I posted about trying it for the first time, the PS3 copy has more bugs than an anthill. I was about to give up on it completely until I read his post. I'm planning on going back at it later today. Hopefully I can get past the bugs and get into the game. I enjoyed it until it fucked up. I just wish it was in third person instead of first person.

I agree 100% with your call on Zelda. The developers went way too far overboard with this one. I thought Twilight Princess was bad, but this one is a shit storm. As for my own entry on this list, the biggest choice I can think of off the top of my head, would be the GTA franchise. I just don't get it. I have tried playing it several times, and different entries. From what I gather Vice City is considered one of the best, if not the best. But it is just bullshit. It offers nothing for entertainment. There is no actual plot or mission in the games that I could see. Tasks are occasional, but other than that, you have nothing in the game to accomplish to move forward, because there IS NO FORWARD. There is nothing but an attractive title for kids rebelling against their parents. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Another is FF14, but that's due to my hatred of online gaming.
