The best way to go in my opinion is Raycons. The sound quality is mind blowing, and the transmission through the mics is as if you’re sitting right beside the people you’re talking to. They can’t be beat.

I'm just going to be blowing shit up. I bought a wheel of 16000 firecrackers and I just want to know how long it will be blowing up.

Wait, there are 3 of you? Ok, who else is moving to a cave on Mars?

If you bought it used, you may have to try deleting the previous user from your system. Reset is to factory specs. Then set up your profile. Also, make sure it's connected with your internet. Those passwords are often case sensitive (I know mine is) and people are often somewhat careless when putting it in. If none of that works, you may have to take it in somewhere to figure it out. Or cut your losses and get another one.

I missed the entire PS2 era, as I was living in an abandoned warehouse. Not exactly a lot of options for entertainment.

I've barely touched BOTW as it is. And now they're talking about a direct sequel? The last one I recall them calling Zelda 2, was not received well.

I've played it on my GBASP several times. And while I'm horrible at it, I still enjoy playing it.

I've owned every Nintendo system with the exception of Virtual Boy and Wii U. But I typically only play NES, SNES, N64, and Switch as far as Nintendo goes. I've also had every PlayStation as well, with the exception of PS Vita. Me and my girl (we live together, and no we're not gay) have Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but don't really use the 360 anymore. We also have a gaming PC, but it mainly just collects dust. I play Hatred on it, but other than that, it really doesn't get used much.

Who will win the next Console War PS5 or Xbox X series ?
The Blackangel replied to kingpotato's topic in Platforms
The PS5 is a serious threat to both Xbox and Nintendo. I think Xbox is going to crash hard with this one, and then scramble to pull a phoenix move, and rise from the ashes. Nintendo on the other hand, will put up a good fight, but since there is no word on them releasing anything this next gen, I don't know what they're going to do. The Switch is the most powerful portable console ever released to date, so they may be moving into a portable market and leaving the home console market to PlayStation and Xbox. Granted with the dock, you can still play Switch as a home console, but to my knowledge, not many do. -

A few years ago, I went for a 24 hour straight play of FF8. I started at 9PM and didn't stop until 9PM the next night. When I went to bed, that night, I was literally asleep before my head hit the pillow. But the negative effect of it came the next day. I was sick as a dog due to the withdraws of not taking my medications the night before. I didn't take them because I was too tired to make them up. If anyone here can stay up for 24 hours straight, then go through 19 bottles to get their medications ready I would love to know how.

Low player agency: love it or loathe it?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Being a classic gamer, I can't say I've played a lot of games that give me a lot of choices that affect the game in a significant way. Honestly I think the first one like that that I ever played was RDR 2. I just got started playing Life Is Strange the other day. It's a major culture shock (best analogy I could think of) to say the least. The majority of games I've played follow a straight line from starting a new game all the way to completing tasks so you can beat an ultimate boss. Zelda, FF8, Castlevania, etc. Granted playing some of them gets boring as hell after a while, but I mix it up a lot with other types of games. -
Don't follow. Elaborate?

Recommend me games with low player agency?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Yes, I can. From a lot of systems. But the majority of it depends how far back in time you're willing to go. -
As far as recommendations go, I can't say any games have been specifically recommended to me by anyone. But as for games I have discovered, there have been a lot. From games I've gotten from @DC in bidding points, to games I've gotten curious about after seeing people talk about them here. The ones that I can think of off the top of my head are as follows: Infliction Legacy Of Fear Lydia REZ PLZ Slender The Arrival Skyrim The Childs Sight Syberia 2 The Witcher 3 Wunderling RDR 2 Life Is Strange Assassins Creed That's just what comes to mind. Granted one or two of them I knew of from outside the forum, but hadn't gotten into. I know there are more, but that's just a short list. Also thanks to @skyfire for his post about Tell Me Why. I'm dying to get that one.

I keep my doctor appointments in my reminder app. If I didn't do that I would miss every one of them.

How long does it take you to feel invested in a game?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
In part, I never really got the allure of superhero games. Things like Marvel, DC, etc. type superheroes. Marvel and DC are the only ones I really know, as with the exception of WildCATS, I was never into comics. Now don't get me wrong, I have a couple (Batman/NES, WildCATS/SNES), but people sitting the edge of their chair anticipating the next release of a >insert superhero< game just seems strange to me. But then again, there are games that I do the same thing for that people are looking at me and asking themselves what the hell I'm on and will I share any of it. So the understanding, or in this case not understanding, goes both ways. -
I just want to know is the game pass worth getting? Are there games that are only available if you get game pass?

The game could be too old to run on Windows 10. That may be your problem. Even though Win7 isn't exactly ancient, it can be the issue. Microsoft does some weird things with each version of Windows they release.
