What is one personal rule you never break when gaming?

Do you have an inviolable personal rule you would never break when playing a game? I.e. "I would never kill a rat" (thinking of @The Blackangel).

I don't attack my own teammates - at least not intentionally. Sometimes they may just get caught in the crossfire but it's not something I practice to do at all.

Whenever a car I own in GT6 has unlucky 13 wins, as soon as I check my win tally, I try to go get the fourteenth win.

Unless I am really stuck at some level for one week or so. I prefer not to watch the solved levels on the youtube.

Never kill anyone or anything who is no threat. I don't care if it's a rat or a person or alien, if it doesn't want to hurt me (or any other 3rd party) I'll never intentionally hurt them.

Yeah that's a good rule. I never pay for in-game items with real money either. If it's in the game it should be earned by playing the game. If it can't or takes too much time then the game is bad period. They literally expect you to pay money to make the game less shitty.

sometimes people aren't interested in fighting at all even in killing games to be honest, i noticed the same, so i stopped killing them too 😄

Same here - I usually tend to help newbies get up to speed in some MMOs. As a matter of fact, I will hang around the newbie area on purpose to prevent other high-levelled players from picking on them.

Hmmm never had one, the only one is if it's boring give it another shot, and if it's boring again delete uninstall goodbye.

But generally I don't have rules, as it is just fun to play without rules.
