What is your favorite type of racing game? What are your achievements? Have you played online? O.K., of course I've played Mario Kart across different versions of Nintendo. I also used to like this motorcycle one for Sega back in the 90s.
Shagger Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 My favourite has been the Burnout franchise (minus Burnout Paradise), especially Burnout 3. The series has sadly been dead for quite some time. I haven't really been that into racing games since, but I did enjoy what I've played of the Forza: Horizon games. Family sedan 1

Empire Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 aren't into racing games that much, I have project cars 2 and have not even got 30mins into the game. I do like wreckfest and racing and smashing into other people 🙂

So here are my favorite racing games over the times: Test Drive 3 1990 Stunts 1991 The Need for Speed 1995 Motorhead 1998 Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed 2000 Gran Turismo 4 2004 Test Drive Unlimited 2006 Gran Turismo 5 2010 NFS Shift 2 2011 Project Cars 2 2017 Honourable mentions: Car & Driver 1992 Fatal Racing 1995 Destruction Derby 1995 Need For Speed 2 SE 1997 Gran Turismo 1998 Gran Turismo 2 1999 1nsane 2000 Street Legal Racing 2003 Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 2010 Gran Turismo 6 2013 I was a racing game fanatic, well I still would be, if there was any racing game worthy of the name. It's only Dirt that I played which you didn't play.

Family sedan Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 I think that either the best Gran Turismo games or the best NASCAR games are among the bast racing games. I've completed four different GT games. I've won the NASCAR title in NASCAR '99. I came in seventh in points in NASCAR Racing 2 once, that game was hard. GT games are usually better than NASCAR games, especially when it comes to driving dynamics. Obviously GT games give you more car selection than NASCAR (which is down to three makes now). I'm usually more in the mood for a GT game, as I like to put money into a car and have an advantage on my opponents.

I was going to say that for a prolific race game player like you, you are definitely supposed to give Dirt a try too.
