Joshua Farrell Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 With all of these sports being delayed due to the Covid-19 virus, which do you think they could theoretically still do, even if there are no physical crowd? Honestly, for events like racing, that is definetly something that can be done, since the teams involved normally isn't something that has large groups in each team. DC 1
The Blackangel Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 Seeing as how baseball is basically an Ambien prescription, that could go without a crowd. Everyone has already fallen asleep by the bottom of the second anyway.
Dead2009 Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 This has happened before a few years ago, when the riots in Baltimore City happened, a game between the White Sox and Orioles happened without a crowd present. Before the XFL cancelled the Seattle Dragons were going to host a game without fans.

Yes, racing can still work without crowd as the riders/drivers would not be listening to the crowd voice anyway with engines producing so much noise.
Demon_skeith Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Since they are doing wrestling without a crowd, any sport can be done without one, its just really strange and kind of creepy to do so.
Alexander. Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 (edited) Any sport can be done without one although, I fear society will look down on us. Sports that could still be socially acceptable without a crowd include but are not limited to the following: Fishing, Football, and Tennis. For example, someone could still participate in a Tennis Tournament without an audience watching. Edited August 5, 2020 by Alexander.
bomb Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 Football teams are playing this days without any spectators watching them. Thou we watch from our different homes. We can't wait to start watching them inside the stadium again.
Samuelkanu Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Some sports need spectators and some it doesn't matter. A sport like swimming can go on without na crowd. But for football it néeds crowd to cheer you on because they would inspire you to bring out all your energy and help the team win.
Empire Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 If you think about it, any sports, just have a event with no one watching 😉
killamch89 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Football can still be played without a crowd because the Premier League and Champions League is still going on without a crowd. I mean the crowd really brings an atmosphere to most games but the sport is still enjoyable.
Head_Hunter Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Yeah, that's true, racing can take off with the crowd being around the stand, but such can't be said of soccer, even if we saw it many times as Covid 19 loomed and ceased players entering into the pitch and watching their favourite footballers.
Justin11 Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 Looking back I have come to appreciate how the world of sports were able to keep entertaining us from our homes even during the pandemic. I appreciate all the sportsmen and women all around the world.
killamch89 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Cricket could definitely work without a crowd because it's already boring and the same thing with Golf.
