  1. Love the Persona series' music -- great choice!
  2. Skyrim, Breath Of The Wild, Darkest Dungeon and Into The Breach are all top picks for Nintendo Switch. Each one of those titles is worth a 100+ hours of content, too, so they'll definitely keep ya busy!
  3. I played it for a bit on PS4 and enjoyed it. It's definitely one of the better, more addictive F2P games on console. I think it'll be a nice fit for Switch.
  4. Pretty decent deal. Comes with all the dlc. https://mailer.pepper.com/link/xJlYaaf4wd0uXefdZhr/44aCJYfYJMIJUjmzpJbDCp
  5. Absolutely. Wish the Telltale team the best and hope they find work sharpish. Very talented developers, for sure.
  6. Never been a huge fan of series tbh, but the latest entries - Odyssey and Origins - are apparently more RPG-centric which definitely speaks to me more. If the new ones have deep progression systems, a decent combat system and an interesting world, count me in!
  7. I'm gonna be re-downloading this game sometime this week as there's a genuinely positive buzz about the game right now after the new update.
  8. Deus Ex and Syndicate are the two that come to mind for me, definitely. Loved Syndicate in particular back in the day.
  9. I like being lazy and booting up digital games from the home screen of my PS4 (without putting a disc in), but for the most part, I prefer buying physical so I've got the option to sell on the game when I'm finished with it.
  10. I wrote a really simple, rudimentary game for my Amstrad CPC 464 when I was about eleven years old using BASIC. That's about it, honestly.
  11. Fair dos, Katri has covered a lot of my recommendations! I'd also recommend FTL: Faster Than Light (if you've ever wanted to be captain of your own starship like in Star Trek, this is the game for you) and Hotline Miami (twitch action game with a stellar 80s soundtrack).
  12. Fighting the final boss in Street Fighter 2, M. Bison, used to drive me nuts. Has some of the most infuriatingly OP moves and the AI can be insanely unfair at counterattacking your moves. It often just feels like blind luck, especially on the higher difficulties. Some of the Skyrim quests, where you have to find a tiny hidden button or lever can be pretty infuriating, too.
  13. A proper fleshed out arena quest like in Oblivion would've been dope as hell. I really loved that quest line in Oblivion. Surprised it didn't make a return in Skyrim, honestly.
  14. For me, it's not a huge issue. But I feel for those who want cross play support on PS4. It's definitely "early PS3 Sony mentality" rearing its ugly head again, for sure.
  15. Also, if anyone's interested in golf video games, I wrote a review of The Golf Club 2019 yesterday: https://wegotthiscovered.com/gaming/golf-club-2019-review/
  16. The developer that's famous for its narrative-driven episodic games has closed its doors. https://www.vgr.com/telltale-games-hit-with-massive-layoffs-and-closure/ Crazy, right?
  17. Yeah, didn't it have a super clunky add-on peripheral for MP? Those were the days!
  18. Wow, that's like supposed to be the holy grail of bad games! Thanks for commenting!
  19. It's all about the library of games (80% of titles have not been confirmed yet). I think if Sony get a rock solid roster of games (some multiplayer games perhaps) then it'll be worth it - to me anyway. Everyone's different, though. I think the PS1 library has a lot of potential for a good classic console.
  20. There are a couple of good free-to-play games but, honestly, I think they are the exception rather than the rule. For every worthwhile F2P game, there are a thousand F2P games that are money-gouging wastes of time that don't respect your time. Frankly, I prefer to pay for a game upfront than play a F2P game that is constantly asking me to give it money for skins, maps etc.
  21. I really like playing golf games. E.g. Everybody's Golf, The Golf Club and Wii Sports' Golf are all faves of mine. Actually, I think Wii Sports is *the* definitive sports game. Great stuff. I used to also play a lot of Pro Evo Soccer and FIFA in university but I don't play them much anymore.
  22. Similar to you, I had a keyboard hooked up to a monitor-type personal computer called an Amstrad CPC 464. That was my entry point into video games. Games like Fantasy World Dizzy, Treasure Island Dizzy, Bomb Jack, Monty On The Run and a 100 other games were what really got me into the medium.
  23. The trouble is--and I know I'm playing devil's advocate here--but video game development is *extremely* costly. Video game prices, on the whole, have stagnated over the last decade, while the costs of games has risen significantly. I feel you--I don't like some of the shady business practices of some of the big conglomerate companies like EA as much as the next person--but the truth is games are very expensive to make. Things like pre-owned games, as well as pirating have a negative impact, too.
  24. I'm a sucker for good music in a video game. I really believe that good music can make a huge difference to a video game experience. Some of my fave soundtracks include: Hotline Miami 1&2, Skyrim, Fallout 3&New Vegas, I Am Setsuna, Child Of Light, Lone Survivor, Silent Hill 1-4, No Man's Sky, Nights Of Azure, Crypt Of The Necromancer, Thumper, Valiant Hearts, FTL: Faster Than Light--I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture! What video game soundtracks do you recommend?
  25. For me, it's gotta be Der Reise as it was the first map to feature a Pack-a-Punch. Also love the Wunderwaffe--what an awesome gun, right? What are your favourite zombies maps?
