  1. I played it briefly over a mate's house and I was impressed with what I played. Looking forward to it.
  2. Call Of Duty. Every freaking time. I might just be getting too old and my reactions are getting crappier and crappier, but I do rage a TON in COD MP.
  3. Oh, and Killzone Mercenary has a surprisingly active MP community, even to this day! Which is awesome.
  4. It tends to depend on the game, but, for the most part, if I really want it, I'll happily pre-order it. Not having a game I really, really want at launch is a pet peeve of mine so I tend to cave. Then again, it's a great feeling picking up a game in a sale and saving a ton of dough!
  5. That's a superb list of Vita games and many of them are titles that I play a ton, too. So weird that Duke Nukem got discontinued, remember playing it on Vita so wonder if I it's downloadable still? Full fat Borderlands 2 running on a handheld is impressive, even with all the bugs/stutters. But, yeah, Killzone Mercenary is the system seller imho. What an incredible looking game. Best FPS on handheld. Period.
  6. I'd be down for a remaster of MW2. They remastered MW1 so it's possible.
  7. Sure, it's super annoying. I think PS4/Xbox One discs have a protective layer whereas the Wii U discs don't. As a result, Wii U discs are way easier to scratch.
  8. I know it rarely does 4k native, but my friend has a PS4 Pro and a 4K TV and, honestly, it really isn't that much better than a base model PS4 on a 1080P TV. Sure, it looks a bit sharper, but it really isn't as impressive an upgrade as, say, standard definition to HD. My experience is pretty limited, though. HDR seemed like more of an impressive leap when we switched those settings on.
  9. The Silent Hill games (especially the early entries) do creepy very well. Their focus on atmosphere and eerie mood over jump scares is especially creepy. Also Lone Survivor is super creepy!
  10. First person is way more immersive. But third person is way more cinematic. Depends what mood I'm in and what tone the game is going for.
  11. I'm not a massive fan of stealth games, either. Not heard of Spy Thief tbh, but thanks for the heads up!
  12. It's a first-person action-adventure game with steal-focused gameplay. It's a lot like Bioshock but with way more stealth segments and less focus on shooting and more of a focus on melee/sword based gameplay. I played the first one and really enjoyed it. Hope that helps!
  13. Medics who don't heal you drive me freaking NUTS! Also, youngsters incessantly swearing over the mics gets on my wick, too.
  14. I'm the proud owner of a Black Ops medal (came with the Hardened Special Edition), a Black Ops 2 t-shirt, a Dark Souls t-shirt, a PixelJunk Monsters t-shirt, a map of Skyrim, the Silent Hill 2 OST and the Silent Hill Downpour OST.
  15. I've not played either of The Longest Journey or Dreamfall. Will make sure to give the latter a wide berth if I do come across it!
  16. I'd be sooo down for a remaster of Morrowind -- yes! I'd also love to see Aliens Vs Predator return in some shape or form. Either remaster/remake Rebellion's 2010 effort or remaster/remake Monolith's Aliens vs Predator 2. I'd also like to see *proper* remasters of the Silent Hill series, 1-4 ideally. But not a shoddy hack job like the last Silent Hill HD Collection...
  17. Alien: Isolation is a brilliant game! Every frame oozes with atmosphere and I really feel the dev team tried super hard to capture the authenticity of the first Alien film. Great choice! Resident Evil 1 and 2 are classic horror games without a doubt. Not played Dino Crisis, but it's supposed to be pretty good (some of the same dev of RE I think). Amnesia: The Dark Descent pretty much started the whole "walk around somewhere really scary and don't give the player any means to defend themselves" philosophy that was later popularised by Slender: The Eight Pages which was kind of a viral sensation. Personally, I love both those titles. Doom 3 is great but I could never get into the F.E.A.R series even though I tried a few times. Thanks for commenting!
  18. Yeah, Persona 4 Golden is definitely one of the Vita's strongest titles, for sure. Thanks for replying nonetheless!
  19. Shovel Knight is ace! Love the retro art-style and the retro music. Not played Shantae yet. Aye, Inside and Limbo are tough to beat. Not had a chance to play Little Nightmares but the screenshots look really interesting. Looks a little like a horror game. If so, then definitely count me in! Will keep my eyes peeled for Typoman.
  20. Downloaded it and I played it for about an hour or so and enjoyed my time with it. Then I deleted it and probably won't touch it again. I can understand its appeal but I don't think it's for me.
  21. Not sure if it counts, but I have the SNES mini. Also own a GameBoy, OG Xbox and a PS3.
  22. Both will be great, I'm sure, but I always prefer COD's shooting gameplay personally so I'm going to vote for Black Ops 4.
  23. I wish some would just port the whole of the Zork series to a handheld like PS Vita or Nintendo Switch. I'd buy the shit out of that. Also, I miss a few Amstrad CPC 464 games like Monty on the Run, the Dizzy series and Bomb Jack. Nobody's probably heard of any of 'em but trust me, they were great games back in their day!
  24. Minecraft (I like playing it with my daughter), Skyrim, PixelJunk Monsters, FTL, AvP, COD Zombies, and this is an odd one: Silent Hill games.
