Alex Neil has launched a €6 billion dollar lawsuit towards Sony for overcharging for digital purchases. His statement is:
"With this legal action I am standing up for the millions of UK people who have been unwittingly overcharged. We believe Sony has abused its position and ripped off its customers."

I do have a argument as to why digital is better. It has actually been a massive help to the indie industry and I'd argue it's what even allowed for the indie scene to actually exist as digital distribution has been easier, cheaper, and less risky for developers to utilize. Meaning that the indie scene itself really is only possible for digital distribution. Mainly because indie developers rarely have the money to print out copies of a game.

I've played the remastered game on Reignited Trilogy. It's personally not my favorite but it's still a great deal of fun.

So basically Microsoft somehow got Death Stranding onto PC Game Pass. It releases on August 23rd.
Here's the proof:

I been enjoying this game so far and want to see other people opinions on it. Here's the Season Seven trailer for anyone's that's interested.

What type of prizes and giveaways would you like to see available through VGR's Bid for Rewards program?
Personally I'd just want some games that don't require steam to play.

It's a nice option to give to people. I'm not sure how good of a deal 25 dollars a month is, but it's an acceptable price for five people.
-
What are your options on the cloud?
I'm quite interested in it, as I'm playing Naraka Bladepoint with it and it runs quite well. If this service continues to behave I can see it becoming the main way for me to Game.

Grounded is a good contender. It's actually relatively fun and has interesting settings.

Metropolis, a beautiful expressionist piece that is one of the most influential flims ever made. It really made big scale movies achievable.
-
COD, they've made around 20 games. It's no longer interesting or unique. I just want them to stop. Especially with WW2, it's been done to death.

So I've found something that puts into perspective on how drastic Xbox's first party studio growth has been.
The above image is the studio list in 2023 if the purchase of activision goes though. That would be 35-36 studios depending on if Blizzard acquires another studio called Proletariat.
The below image is the studio list in 2017. There's only 6 in that picture.
What are your thoughts on this?

Does anyone else play these types of games or am I the only one? They're the old school computer game genre that was popular in the 90s. Something like Sam And Max, Broken Age, or Grim Fandango are examples of these types of game.

How many games did they make in the series? Or was it just Blur and that was it?
Activision only made one and they shut it down 2011ish, I think you can still play it but the online servers are dead.
-
Blur, I've never played it but I can tell that it's a fun game. A combat filled racing game is something I've been wanting and Blur looks like it's exactly what I wanted.

I would like the starters of these threads to kick things off by giving their own examples to promote discussion. That goes for all, so I'm not just picking on you, Techno.
Yeah that's fair, I just was trying to think and was curious as too what other people opinions were.
For me it's Double Fine, I've played quite a few games of theirs and every one I've enjoyed. Stuff like Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Day Of The Tectacle, and Psychonauts 2 have fantastic stories and characters. And while most of those games have so-so gameplay they're just so well thought out.
My close second would be ID software. Doom is a personal favorite series of mine and even Quake was quite fun. They just do well with FPS games in general.

What kind of exclusive would they make that compares to a game like TLOU for Sony? It would have to be the best game around for me to want to get an Xbox for that exclusive.
Something like Hellblade 2, the first Hellblade was fantastic and the trailers for it so far look really impressive. I'm guessing it'll release in late 2023 though.

I've noticed a problem in that Xbox has bought a ton of studios and yet is having a problem with exclusives. 2022 alone only has smaller titles as exclusives. While I'm sure the games coming out will be good (there is Pentiment, Grounded 1.0, Scorn, High On Life, As Dusk Falls) there seems to be a lack of AAA titles. Does anyone else have a problem with this?
