What video game ending would you change?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
You may not mind it, but others would. I hate spoilers, and if someone wants them, they're sure as hell not going to get it from me. If they want them then as you said, there's no shortage of them on YouTube. -
I've been thinking about getting set up with a VPN, but don't know which one to go with. A lot of the YouTube channels that I subscribe to get sponsored by Express VPN, and recommend it a lot. It looks good to me, but I'm wondering if anyone else is set up with one, and if so what are your thoughts? Do you think they're not actually worth it? pros? Cons? I'm looking for any info anyone has before I shell out the $ for it.

I've been up for about an hour and a half. I'm a little worried about one of my dragons, a I found that her heat lamp wasn't on last night. Especially since I have to have it cold in order to be able to sleep. I'm trying to get 4 new rats accustomed to me handling them. The people I got the from didn't take care of them. They're all severely overweight, so I'm having to take extreme care in feeding them. Mostly watching what veggies I give them and changing the pellets to the brand I have always used. They love the veggies, but aren't too happy about the pellet change. I have 10 rats and 4 cages, plus an aquarium for them. The cages are sometimes called "rat cities" which is understandable. They're $200 at the pet stores here. They seem to be about half that at some sites online, but when you need one immediately, you don't really have much choice.

Most Awkward video game mission ever played
The Blackangel replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
Helping a bee bang a sunflower, then realizing that bouncing on the sunflowers tits is the only path to where you need to get to. Also fighting the Great Mighty Poo for the first time in Conker's Bad Fur Day. Then finding out that the damn thing sings. -
What video game ending would you change?

RDR2 That's all I'm going to say as there are people here that haven't played it yet. -
Most awkward/embarrassing gaming moment?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
When a game pisses you off so bad that you start acting like a 2 year old, despite being damn near 40. -
Nope. Not in the least.

I'm not entirely following the question here. When you say "home" are you meaning it feels the way it felt growing up, or that you have found a place in a game that you would happily climb into the game and call home?

What's your Top 5 video games of all time?
The Blackangel replied to Alexander.'s topic in Gaming Forum
If we're doing honorable mentions then I have a few: Blaster Master Legacy Of The Wizard Mega Man 3 Contra Dantes Inferno TMNT 1 F-Zero 1080 Snowboarding Castlevania series Conker's Bad Fur Day Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice FutureGrind Layers Of Fear: Legacy God Of War series DMC 4 Tell Me Why Life Is Strange -
At the moment, only 2 come to mind. RDR2 and FF8. Initially I wasn't interested in FF8 because at the time I thought it was "too open" of a game for my tastes. Granted this was 1999, and games aren't anywhere near as advanced and open world as they are now. But back 21 years ago, this was one hell of an open world game. RDR2 didn't initially interest me, because I've never really been a big fan of western style games. I'm not into western movies or TV shows. I watched Bonanza with my grandmother when I was a little girl, but that was only because she loved the show. I never complained though. I was just happy to spend time with her. but back to the game, I watched my girl play it a lot, and the more I watched her, the more I got into it. I eventually bought it for both My Xbox One and PS4. I have to say it's much better on the PS4 than Xbox. I do have to say that GameStop lived up to its reputation. I bought it there for $60. We went to Walmart immediately after, and they were selling it for $40.😡

Most Unusual Recipe you've ever come up with when hungry
The Blackangel replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
I can't believe I'm admitting this. Just remember I was drunk off my ass, and honestly don't remember doing it. It was apparently around 3:00 in the morning. I know we had hot pockets in the freezer, and apparently thought I was microwaving one. What it turned out to be was that I was microwaving a sponge. I kept commenting on how tough and bland this "hot pocket" was to my girl. She just took out her phone and recorded the whole thing. I would say I didn't need toilet paper for a day or two as the sponge would wipe my as itself as it came out, but that's just gross. This happened like 4 years ago and I've never lived it down. Occasionally when she's microwaving herself a frozen dinner and I ask her to make one for me, she'll bring me a nuked sponge. The saddest part is that I ate the entire thing. -
Not a snowballs chance in hell of me showing my face. Despite being a girl, I look like a fat old man. I'm not being responsible for turning every member of this forum to stone. If you want a face to associate with me, you're stuck with my avatar. Otherwise, kiss the darkest part of my lily white ass.

What other 3rd party games would you like to see the Switch get?
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Nintendo
I don’t know about any extra content, but I have AC3 on Switch. The cartridge is extremely cheap, and it’s a great game. -
I’m not going to use VR to relive being molested at 10 and sexually assaulted at 36. Counseling is a better and healthier alternative.

That’s one of the worst ideas I’ve ever heard. Reliving trauma over and over is what drives people to suicide. Having to relive things from my past is why I had 17 sprained necks before I was even 20 years old. The mere idea of making someone relive it through virtual reality is a sick, cruel, inhuman treatment. Lives will end up being lost from this. Innocent and guilty. Would you really deem it a good idea for a rape victim to have to relive everything in not only their mind but their eyes and ears all over again as well? This isn’t helping anyone, except those that get their thrills from watching others in pain.

I'm surprised as hell that RDR2 wasn't anywhere on the list. I would have thought for sure that it would have at the very least gotten an honorable mention. Unless it came out last year, and the games up for the list are limited to games that came out during that current year. I honestly don't know what year RDR2 came out. I just know I fucking love that game.

That was supposed to have been DOOMTRAIN not Doimtrain. -
Would you take a job as video game tester?
The Blackangel replied to Alexander.'s topic in Gaming Forum
In a way, I would say that we as gamers ARE the game testers. We buy games as they hit the shelves, we discover the bugs, and the majority determines how good the game is as a whole. The developers listen most of the time, and take the steps to fix the issues. After fixing said issues, they release an updated version, and the whole process begins again. For example, Skyrim on PS3 had more bugs than an anthill. But when they released it for PS4/Xbox One/Switch it was for the most part fixed. I'm not saying it's not still buggy as hell, but it's a hell of an improvement over the PS3 version. But they listened to us when we "tested" if you will, the game. Our experiences and impressions with any given game, is the testing phase. Some are successes and lead to a franchise. Some are dead in the water and are never heard from again. FRANCHISES - FInal Fantasy, Assassins Creed, Call Of Duty, Castlevania, The Legend Of Zelda DEAD IN THE WATER - Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Dantes Inferno -
SanDisk is the only brand I trust. All of my SD and micro SD cards are SanDisk. But currently they're like $230 for a 1tb card. So I'm gonna wait and see if they go down, and by how much.
