  1. I would say that if your concern is strictly physical space in your home, the Xbox One S would be the better option. If physical space isn't the issue, the hands down I say go for the Xbox One X.
  2. I just want to see if it’s on my end or if other people are having issues with this site loading slowly. Whether I’m on my phone or PC, the site has either been loading incredibly slow, or refusing to load when I click a link at all. I’m not having this issue with any other sites. So I’m just trying to figure out what the issue could be.
  3. What fictional villain do you hate the most? What fictional hero do you admire the most? Why? This isn’t limited to video games. Comics, movies, TV, anything.
  4. Tell me my Lord Spud, bong or hookah?
  5. Would you take a life to save a life?
  6. I don’t really have a specific “comfort zone”. There’s not a lot that I could say I’m uncomfortable with. I watch a lot of gore types of videos when I’m bored. Stuff like 3 Guys 1 Hammer. It passes the time. Not a lot phases me.
  7. You're right for the most part. It really doesn't make a difference what platform a game is on 99% of the time. But we all know there's some asshole out there that just wants to pick a fight, and will argue that a game is impossible to play on one platform but is easy to play on another, when there's no damn difference.
  8. I would love a game based around astronomy. I have loved astronomy since I was a child, and a game that is based around that that is not only fun, but educational would be an instant pre-order for me. There was a PC game I played when I was younger that was called Operation Weather Disaster. It was so fun to play, that I didn't even realize that I was learning. If someone could do the same thing with astronomy, they would then become my favorite game publisher.
  9. Diablo comes to mind for me. I think it's a bit more difficult on PC than it is on PS1. Sure, you can download programs to craft your own weapons and armor, and make your characters more or less invincible. But forgoing that, I think that it's designed just differently enough, that there is more challenge on PC.
  10. Taking special care of one of my rats. He had surgery a week ago, and last night I saw that one of his surgery wounds had broken open and was infected again. So I’m gonna be taking him to the vet ASAP because it looks like he’s going to have to have another abscess surgically removed. He had 3 removed Monday.
  11. The update was after I figured out that I had to physically connect the controller. I’m just wondering if this is what I’m going to have to do to play the machine.
  12. I have a few games here that I specifically use a Game Genie on every time I play them anymore. And it's not so I can make me so powerful that I can just breeze by everything. It's actually the opposite. I use codes to make my character weaker and my enemies stronger. The reason is because there are some games that, over the years, I've just gotten too good at. And while I love playing them, there's no challenge left. So I pop them in through the GG, and it's all good. My favorite games, redone with more challenge than before.
  13. What I learned is summed up in one very simple sentence: "Get the fuck out of my way."
  14. I have the Game Genie for NES and SNES, but rarely use them. Aside from that, the closest cheat I can think of that I use is in Castlevania SOTN. I use the name "code" that nets Alucard a base luck of 99 and I use the lapis lazuli trick to keep all his items past where Death takes them from you. Other than that, I don't really use any cheats anymore.
  15. Let's see, consoles I'm currently playing regularly: Atari 2600, NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, PS1, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and GBA SP. To name the ones that run more or less daily. With me, I keep the ones That I don't have hooked up at that current moment in file cabinets and plastic storage tubs. The amount of systems and games I have all combined takes up an entire closet, shelving and floorspace. And I also have duplicate systems. I think 5 PS2's for example and 4 PS3's. Somewhere around here there is an Xbox 360, 2 Wii's, and a Game Cube. Where they're at, I have no clue. I wasn't a fan of any of the 3 so it was always my girl that played them, with a rare exception. I liked Soul Caliber II, and Mario Kart on Wii. That's about it. When you're a cripple, you don't have a lot of options for entertainment, so you tend to have a lot of something when you find one that works. hence, my amount of gaming systems.
  16. I'm sure it will be here one day. Those will be the days when the only way to even SEE a PS5 will be in a museum. Kids will wonder how anyone could torture themselves with such primitive technology. Such shitty graphics, and SLOOOOOOOOOW gameplay. They will be wondering how people could bear living in such a primitive, caveman like time.
  17. If you want something impressive, you should check out the FF7/FF8 twin pack on switch. Both full games, with FF8 remaster, all on one switch cartridge. That's 7 discs worth of game play, one game with updated graphics and special features, all put into a cartridge that is no bigger than my thumbnail. Damn.
  18. Video length aside, it has me very interested. I don't know how a 30 second clip that did pretty much nothing could peak my interest, but it did.
  19. I'm sitting here waiting for an update to finish while my Xbox sets up. But I had one question. When starting the machine up I got to the screen where the Xbox was in back and the controller in the foreground with the green circle bouncing around the Xbox button. I tried several times to get it to go to the next screen but it did nothing. I tried new batteries, and hitting the sync button nothing. My last ditch idea was to connect it physically to the machine through a USB port. Lo and behold, that worked. But I'm wondering, did anyone else have to physically connect their controller? The machine is less than 2' away from me, so it's not like it was a real hassle of any kind. But I'm wondering because I want to know if I'm going to have to keep the controller plugged in to play, or if the wireless abilities are going to even be available since I had to go this route.
  20. My girl has the original Switch with the dock, so if I had to I could just use hers. But I picked it up last night. It was $15 for the Xbox One copy so I nabbed it. I could have gotten the PS4 copy for $19, but decided to go with the cheaper option.
  21. I have the lite. No docking ability.
  22. Witcher 3 Not what I would call an easy game. I'm thinking of picking it up on another console so I have a bigger screen and can possibly get into the game better before I really go adventuring on Switch.
