  1. Curiosity had gotten the better of me (I think it was last year) and I checked out the video to Wrecking Ball. Now after listening to her live performance for all of 36 seconds, she really butchered her own song. That's really pathetic. I mean its HER song. If someone else had done a cover of it, I could understand butchering it. I couldn't sing her song. The only song I really ever cared about was the one I recorded when I was just a kid (17). I still sing, but it's all slower tempo stuff.
  2. The Beastie Boys always sucked, mainly because they tried too hard. Sadly, I remember hearing this stupid song constantly as a kid.
  3. In a word: greed.
  4. I never knew that Sega published masturbation instructions.
  5. I have you beat by 2 years. I'm 37. I'll check out your channel, but I don't use social media with the exception of an Instagram. But I haven't been to that in forever. Unless YouTube counts as social media. I spend several hours on there every day. 🙂 Ave
  6. I wasn’t calling the game specifically “shit”. It’s a simple expression. I said the same thing about 2 of my favorite games. FF8 and Zelda OoT. With FF8 however, I said it repeatedly for several years. With Zelda OoT, I said it for less than a year. It’s an expression, nothing more. As for being unwilling to download it, I can tell from the trailer that it’s the kind of game that I flat out don’t enjoy. So it would be a waste of time and energy for me to download it. The spelling of Kombat with the K had me intrigued. But the gameplay lost my interest. It’s nothing against your work. It’s just not a game style that I like. I had thought that MKM: Sub-Zero was gonna be an awesome game because of the Mortal Kombat part. It wasn’t worth the plastic it was made of. You do look extremely talented. Far beyond anything I could do. If at anytime you decide to work on anything more medieval oriented, I’ll be first in line to try out your work. Ave
  7. I drink on occasion. It’s not often, but once in a while I do enjoy a bit of alcohol. I stick mainly to beer and whiskey. Rarely I might go for a bit of tequila, but not often. With beer there’s really only 2 that I actually like. Michelob Ultra and Dos Equis. With whiskey, I used to drink Wild Turkey exclusively. But that shit is expensive as hell. So I got looking a while back, and decided to give Evan Williams a shot. Best decision ever. Evan has a richer flavor, goes down smoother, and if you go for white label, it’s just as strong. And it’s less than half the price of Turkey. The tequila I always liked is Jose Quervo gold.
  8. I just want a female elf. I'm not concerned about anything else.
  9. First off I'm a girl, and second I'm not wasting the space on my computer to download that.
  10. Maybe it's just my hearing, but I can't make out a single word they're saying in the actual movie clip.
  11. What the fuck is this shit???
  12. To each their own. But I just want to say, that in my personal opinion, when Tim Burton and Johnny Depp work together pure masterpieces are made. I'm sure there are people that will argue that, and that's fine. Like I said, to each their own. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And I'm sure there is someone reading this that is thinking I'm a complete lunatic for even liking either one of them.
  13. Not exactly a pic, but still worthy of this thread I think.
  14. You can't trust anyone. Whether it's an individual, group, or corporation is irrelevant. Having faith in or trusting anyone will only cause you to get screwed. It's a short matter of time until you're abandoned and/or stabbed in the back. It's a fools wish. Don't let yourself get sucked in by lies and false promises. Save yourself the torment, and drop your faith in humanoid creatures.
  15. I'm about to the point that I'm not even going to come into the Gaming News section anymore. All it does is it either makes me sick, or depresses me.
  16. No one got a refund. Somehow Dunham was able to block it.
  17. I'm going to have to add Alice In Wonderland/Alice Through The Looking Glass and A Nightmare Before Christmas to my list. I'm just as obsessed with Tim Burton as I am with Johnny Depp.
  18. Jeff Dunham came here one night a couple years ago, and the arrogant bastard forgot more than half of his show. 2 of the puppets he pulled out he forgot the ENTIRE routine, and others he forgot the answers and replies to the jokes. The audience were actually the ones performing that night. Either that, or since Columbia isn't a major metropolis like LA, NY, Dallas, Chicago, or something else, it just wasn't worth his time to try. Either way, the majority of the crowd walked out and demanded their money back. We went to be entertained, not to just look at some silent jackass with his hand in a puppet onstage. He hasn't come back since.
  19. Before I ended up in a wheelchair, I was a rifle firing instructor, and self defense instructor. It wasn't a defined martial arts, it was just lessons for women on how to get out of certain situations.
  20. The only place that I have ever cheated in a video game was always with a game genie. When the games got too easy, I always made my enemies as difficult as I could get them. If there was something that I absolutely couldn't find that was a requirement, I would use an invincibility code or something similar, so that I could explore until I found the damn thing. Then reset the game with the enemies 10x harder like I originally wanted. If you're using a game genie, which kids have done since the first one hit the market in the 80's (myself included), I don't really see a problem with that. The piece was designed specifically to cheat. Granted Nintendo filed a lawsuit against Galoob and lost. But it's still a cheating device.
  21. Very true, but once in a while you can have a bit of luck and find something good there. For example, even though I have always hated the series but wanted to give it one last shot, I found Assassins Creed 2 there for $2.99, and AC 3 there for $4.99. At those prices I didn't see a reason to pass up on one of the most popular franchises on the market as of right now. Like I said I always hated the series, but I wanted to give it another more in depth shot. And whether I like it or not, I'm not losing anything by buying them. But with the cartridge systems, which is what I spend 95% of my gaming time on, the only place I have to find those games is online, and so far, eBay is the best place I've found to shop from. There is one place in Springfield MO that I refer to as the "holy grail" of video games. It's a simple flea market, but they have hundreds of cartridge games for every cartridge system. They have games that even I had never heard of before. I was there last year, and they had one that I had no idea was even in existence. Who here has played Contra Force? That's one I never had heard of. I couldn't afford what they wanted for it at the time, but it still caught my attention.
  22. Here's a pic of the specs.
  23. I look at Sonic, then I look at my little guy Pablo, and I don’t really see any form of similarities. Pablo curls up in a ball, but he also does explore a lit. He’s just not lightning fast. He’s also no blue.
  24. What the hell is chrimbo? And to reply to the thread, the only 2 games that I can think of that I’m wanting at the moment are Zelda Links Awakening on Switch and Zelda Ancient Stone Tablets on SNES. I tried buying it once but received the copy for Super Famicom. So since I don’t have one of those, I can’t exactly play it.
  25. In ranged fighting I, for some weird reason, can’t hit shit with a gun. Doesn’t matter what kind of gun it is. Which is weird because in real life I’m a dead eye. I can light a match with a .22 from 60’. I know that for a fact because I’ve done it several times. And it’s documented. However in game I’m a dead eye with a bow. I’m not a bad shot in real life with a bow, but I’m a hell of a lot better in game.
