  1. I have never played the original but the game does interest me quite a bit. The fact that it was remastered makes it even better because it will look and feel great on the current-gen consoles. Definitely on my list of games to play when I finish my current backlog.
  2. Like you mentioned in the original post, I was going to say wikis. It's a bit hit and miss sometimes because depending on the game, sometimes the wikis aren't as detailed or haven't got enough contributors. But for the bigger games like GTA, you can easily rely on the wikis to get information on things in the game.
  3. It's not the perfect situation but I think the majority of people just don't care that the game is not too different. The main focus for a lot of people is Ultimate Team and getting the new FIFA for the updated players and team is pretty important.
  4. Considering how much I play it, it would probably have to be FIFA. I'm always keeping an eye on social media for news on the game and what type of content is coming out next.
  5. Counter-Strike in terms of PC games. I haven't played it before but I'm seen enough videos and stories online about how toxic the people that play it are. FIFA is another game with a toxic community. Some of the people that play it are way too toxic and entitled.
  6. Always find it weird that people send hate mail to people that are featured in games. I'm not surprised obviously because there are some absolute idiots in this world but it's just weird. The fact they can't even send the hate to the right person should tell you enough about how smart these people are.
  7. I would agree with you on that although I do know that there is a minority of people on the internet that didn't like how slow the game was at the start. I guess they wanted a more action-packed start like GTA V. Same for me as well. I always try to buy items sold by Amazon themselves because their customer service is 10/10
  8. Very true on that. I've seen a few too many Reddit posts about people spending hundreds, thousands even on in-game items which is just crazy to me. I mean, they're welcome to do what they want since it's their money but it really is encouraging developers to stick more useless content in games.
  9. Marketing and customers that want their products. I think it was Stranger Things that had product placement for KFC and it was awful because they made it way too obvious by getting the characters to talk about it as well. But even though they did that and it annoyed me, I was hungry for some fried chicken lol
  10. Kind of crazy to think there are gamers actually buying things they don't need just for a skin. Especially one that looks like just a different colour to the normal Halo skins that you can get for free. Hopefully this promotion doesn't become something that a lot of developers try to copy.
  11. I forgot to mention, if anyone is seriously looking into Axie Infinity or other similar games, there are some scholarship programmes out there. You can apply for it and you basically have to give like half of your game income to the sponsor. Doesn't sound great but then you don't have to risk any of your money to start in the game.

    Last Game Played

A game called Unpacking which is available on the Xbox Game Pass. I was just looking for a game that would have some easy achievements to earn for my Microsoft Reward objectives. But it's actually quite a fun relaxing game so I'll probably continue playing it
  13. Not for me. Axie Infinity is one that I looked into briefly but the start up cost is just absurd. It feels a bit like a con to spend your money on virtual things and then you're stuck with these items without being able to make your money back. I'm sure there are a few people making a lot from the game but the majority will not.

    Last Game Played

I played a bit of FIFA 22 earlier today. Team is turning out very nicely now that I have completed the SBCs for both Neymar and POTM Ben Yedder. Looking forward to completing some of the new objectives over the next few days too.
  15. It has to be Skyrim for me. This is going to be slightly controversial since I know that a lot of people actually really like it. I got it for free with my Xbox 360 and tried it and did not like it at all. Everything was just so confusing and the majority of my time was spent trying to figure out how to get to the top of one of the mountains.
  16. I don't mind it if it's done discretely and it's not too in your face. For example, someone just drinking or eating a popular brand wouldn't annoy me. But if they go out of their way to promote the product, it's just a huge no no.
  17. Not a fan of them removing basic things and trying to copy Apple. Things like the expandable storage and charger in the box should not have been removed. It's one of the reasons why I got an Apple this time around. If Samsung wasn't going to be special, I might as well just get an Apple.
  18. They're not the best developer and they do a lot of bad things. But FIFA is and will always be the best football game for us. There just isn't any viable alternatives so we do have to play it a lot to get our football fix every day. And honestly, whilst we do complain about a few things, the game is a lot of fun still.
  19. Technically, yes I have. EA always have a trial for the upcoming FIFA on their EA Access subscription service. It lets you play Ultimate Team for about 10 hours so you can use it to get a bit of a head start. So I always play the trial and then buy the game later when it comes out.

    Call of duty

I like COD although I would never play it on mobile. I just don't like first person shooters on mobile because the layout is weird and it's a pain to play with touch screen controls (for me anyway). I didn't get the latest COD though because it seems to be a disappointment so I just stuck with Cold War which is still a lot of fun.
  21. Got Horizon Zero Dawn downloaded on the PS5 now so I'll be looking forward to finishing the story as soon as possible. Hopefully I can navigate through the internet and social media without seeing any spoilers relate to Forbidden West.
  22. I mentioned it a bit earlier in the thread but Take Two owns Rockstar Games. Not sure which company would have decided Grove Street Games was the best developer to handle the trilogy to but it probably was a joint decision.
  23. Hard to say if it's strange but I have an app that assigns three random words to places on a map. It's used by emergency services and breakdown services to make it easy to find where you are if it's hard to figure out a street name etc. I'll probably never use it but I like to have it just in case.
  24. They predominately develop for mobile devices so don't worry, they won't be anywhere near the GTA 6 development. They previously worked on the mobile ports for the classic GTA games which is why I believe they got the job for the console version of the remaster.
  25. Whatever they choose, I'm sure they will try to stick with the weird S and X names which will once again, create more problems for people. Seen a few too many posts on Reddit of people accidently getting gifted the Xbox One X and not the Series X
