  1. It was constant downtime but GTA 5 Online was an absolute mess at launch because the servers just couldn't handle all the players. I stayed at home from school to play it and I couldn't play if for the majority of the day because the servers were down. It took them quite a bit of time before it became a bit more stable.
  2. I have never dropped my phone whilst gaming. I guess that is the benefit of playing games that aren't that stressful like Clash Royale. I can imagine the people that people first person shooters or online sports games can more likely to drop it.
  3. When I was younger, I use to watch quite a few different YouTube channels dedicated to gaming but I've stopped recently. With limited time for a lot of different activities, I prefer to use that time to actually play games instead of just watching someone else play them.
  4. I don't think all games should have both options. For example, Call of Duty would be very weird in third person. It would change the game quite a bit especially since third person views would help people peek around corners. Having 1st and 3rd person view for open world games makes sense though

    Trolling

Not something I bother with unless the other person is being rude or annoying. This is especially the case for FIFA where some people like to time waste or do annoying celebrations to try and trigger you. So a bit of trolling to get them back can be quite fun.
  6. No purchases this year but I got my Xbox Series X last year, sometime around May. I got the PS5 at launch in 2020 but because Microsoft had some great exclusives, I went ahead and got it as well. The only way for me to get a hold of it was through the Xbox All Access programme so I've paying for it monthly which has made it a bit easier to afford.
  7. If you enjoy the game, spend it. I've spent money on Fortnite a while ago for the season pass and the Save the World mode. Back when I was playing it, I was enjoying it a lot so the money was well spent. And considering the quality of some of the skins you can get, it's not wasted really.
  8. It's a shame to see what has happened to the Need for Speed series recently. It's just not as good as the previous games in the series which is awful to see. We need more exciting street racing games since we only really have Forza Horizon as the best one.
  9. I used to buy used games for the Xbox 360 because I was slightly late in getting it so some of my favourite games had already come out. But with my recent consoles, I've stuck to buying new games because I tend to get that at launch most of the time.
  10. Too much dialogue for one but that might have been just because it was the introduction to the game. You can mostly skip dialogue but there was one bit where you couldn't do it which annoyed me.
  11. I think most games tend to have it on console so I don't bother removing it. I don't see the point of making the game (online mainly) harder for me when most people will also having auto assist aiming enabled. It's not too strong anyway so it's not like it makes gaming boring.
  12. I tried the demo for a bit both on the Series X and the PS5 and I have to say, it looks great and it runs well. But I realised not too far into the game that it probably wasn't for me. Nothing to do with the gameplay but it just felt a bit boring. But that's probably my fault for not playing it for longer than just the first few missions.
  13. Yeah, as a football fan, it's pretty fun to play it every year with the new teams especially if you love Ultimate Team as I do. But I think it might be time to take a little break from it when the new one comes out. EA have been making a lot of mistakes recently and it might be time to send them a message by not buying the game.
  14. Honestly, I'll have to check to see if there are any achievements/trophies for it because if not, I just won't care for it. The in-game rewards for things like these are just never worth the effort you have to put into it to find them all.
  15. It's a shame that we've had to come to this because some of the people in Russia won't be supportive of the war against Ukraine. But sanctions like these just have to be implemented because it helps put more pressure on Putin and his government. It's not major since it's just gaming sanctions but when you put them all together, it creates a huge problem for the people of Russia.
  16. Not as rare as some of the other items mentioned in this thread. But the damn collectables in some of the games just annoy the hell out of me because they're extremely annoying to get. GTA has done this recently in the online mode where you have to find a lot of statues, collectables, and destroy signal jammers. It's impossible to keep track of which ones you need to find.
  17. I'm honestly not sure, to be honest. It all depends on what games come out in the year because if there are a lot of major, big releases, I would obviously be buying more. Most of the time, I probably get around 4-5 games which usually includes the yearly FIFA and FPS (COD or Battlefield) release. I try not to play too many games at once.

    Board Game

Monopoly has to be a personal favourite of mine because it's just so much fun. I love how competitive everyone gets when they start playing this and it just makes the game way more fun when everyone is struggling and trying their best to hold out without losing.
  19. I've gone with shared hosting for my sites because it's just good enough for my forum. We're still a relatively small general discussion forum so the requirements aren't crazy. At the moment, it's a little less than $5 a month which I'm happy with.
  20. That is correct. Supercell are the developers and they are responsible for Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Hay Day, and Brawl Stars. A pretty good mobile game developer actually and all their games are quite fun in their own unique ways.
  21. In terms of my friends and some random people online, I would have to go with FIFA. I'm pretty good and usually near the top of the divisions in Ultimate Team. So I can easily do well against my friends and online. Saying that, I am not a pro-gamer so there are definitely still a lot of people that would beat me (people that I don't know)
  22. None of my console actually but I do play both Clash Royale and F1 Clash on my phone. Both are strategy games that require you to plan your next move because one mistake can mess up your whole game. F1 Clash is a lot of fun because you essentially have to control the time when your driver has to pit to beat your opponent.
  23. Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. I use the PS5 as my main gaming console so it makes sense for me to choose PS Plus for this debate. If someone doesn't have a PS5, they can still choose PS Plus since it's available on the PS4.

    Last Game Played

A bit of Clash Royale on my phone earlier today. They have a special event where everyone joins a team to potentially win some great prizes for their sixth birthday which is quite interesting and generous. Looking forward to that event starting soon.
  25. Some people are just intimidated by gyms. People will have their various reasons as to why and I don't think it makes sense to try and put that down by simply saying ignore it. When someone wants to start out, some will be worried that they are going to be judged or laughed at so it makes sense to try and market towards them
