  1. I'm sorry but you don't know what you are talking about. I've used these kinda things for quite some time now and they don't hyperextend your thumbs at all. I don't know about anyone else but in 25 years I have never experienced this so called "gamer's thumb" or even heard of it. Not to mention there are tons of everyday home and workbased tools and Instruments that manipulate the thumbs the same way so I really don't think it's an injury commonly associated with gaming alone. In answer to the OP's question I do feel like they make a subtle difference but they certainly don't suddenly turn you MLG, so go for the cheaper to mid range ones.
  2. I find the best way to deal with it is to get up and walk once in a while. A chair with lumber support helps to.
  3. The first one listed is a stand alone release of the Freedom Cry DLC that does not require the origional game. The second is the origional Freedom Cry DLC and requires Assassins Creed Black Flag in order to use it. So which one you buy really depends on if you have Black Flag or not.
  4. I like these casting choices, I hope the adaptation turns out well.
  5. They can be fixed, bit it's not worth it anymore. The cost of the repair is about the same as a used working console if not more.
  6. I think the most disgusting game I'm aware of is RapeLay. It's a game where you literally play as a man who stalks, gropes and sexualy assaults a woman and other members of her family. It's pure fucking filth.
  7. ^What he said There are non-chemical addictions to activities like gaming, gambling, exercise, compulsive shopping, sex and more that can be just as if not more damaging than chemical addictions like food, drugs or alcohol... And people don't seem to know or care that it is a problem. If your eating to much then they say "go on a diet". If your anorexic then they say "eat a steak". If they are gambling or compulsive shopping then they say "stop wasting your money you idiot!". But it's never that simple. People need to have a more open minded and educated view of what addiction is before judging.
  8. There really shouldn't be any type of distractions for the driver while the vehicle is moving as far as I'm concerned.
  9. I'm glad Trump is out but I'm not jumping to conclusions. Biden and Harris still have a lot to prove.
  10. Controllers have existed in some in form or another in arcades and early consoles at a time when keyboards where mostly seen on typewriters and the mouse wasn't even invented. The mouse and keyboard are peripherals that were designed with work, not gaming in mind. It's something that people and game design have adapted to over the years whereas the gamepad is purpose designed. So I don't see your logic with regard to using a gamepad as a recent "mobile gaming" trend. I understand even less why people using gamepads would even "annoy" you. It seems obvious to me that if someone buys a game and have a choice of peripherals they can use whatever they want to get the best enjoyment out of it. If the game requires the use of a peripheral or device that they don't like using then they simply don't buy that particular game. What's the problem? I know that I (FPS and RTS games aside) generally prefer a controller, even on PC but if someone else prefers a keyboard and mouse for the Assassin's Creed I don't care. Use whatever you want, this argument is ridiculous.
  11. $100,000 is not allot of money for a brand new game project, unless you're relaying heavily on store bought and/or free assets, music and sound. It would have to be something pretty simple like a puzzle game or maybe a side scroller. I mean come on think about it! That $100,000 is barely enough to cover 2 full time staff members for 1 year! I see some people talking making driving simulators and GTA style open world's and there is no way you could that with any decent quality on that budget.
  12. This is basically an Intel NUC 9 Extreme mini PC with a grill tray compartment on top. Personally I think it's a stupid idea. It's not practical since you will need to have it running under load to keep the tray warm, it will be a nightmare to keep clean and it certainly won't do any favours in terms of keeping your PC cool. I wouldn't want greasy, lukewarm KFC leftovers anywhere near what is a pretty expensive system.
  13. Should we just lock this now? I don't anyone is going to top that!
  14. It's less than £2 right now, the rest of the Tomb Raider Franchise is also up to 90% off: https://store.steampowered.com/app/505540/Rise_of_the_Tomb_Raider_20_Year_Celebration_Pack/ https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/13831/Tomb_Raider_Collection/
  15. Anyone legitimately looking for deals on PC games would have at the very least checked what the cost on Steam was, you clearly did not. So it's either an case of a paid promotion or sheer incompetence. Whatever the the case don't expect an apology out of me for calling you out.
  16. Yeah, keep up your spamming! It's clearly quantity over quality. Especially with regard to "offers".
  17. https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/8538/Devil_May_Cry_5__Deluxe_Edition/
  18. I would say that you SERIOUSLY need to check better on your Sources, but I'm sure you have been somehow compensated by this bullshit reseller for your posts. Of all the "offers' ' from this shady reseller you have posted this and Devil May Cry 5 are the only one that are even marginally cheaper than the legit retail price on Steam right now. This is despicable. Buy the games legit: https://store.steampowered.com/app/239140/Dying_Light/ https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/8538/Devil_May_Cry_5__Deluxe_Edition/
  19. Also cheaper on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/582010/Monster_Hunter_World/
  20. Once again. cheaper on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/813780/Age_of_Empires_II_Definitive_Edition/
  21. Ok... first of all don't spam this forum offers from dodgy key resellers. Second: As of the date of this post this game along with pretty much the entire Tomb Raider franchise is on sale legitimately for WAY less. You can get the entire collection for about £32 which I think is around $40 and this very game is Individually around $2. I was actually about to make a post about it myself. https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/13831/Tomb_Raider_Collection/ IGNORE THE LINK IN THE OP, IT IS A RIP OFF!
  22. UpSo... We've had foldable computer's that fit on one's lap, a "Laptop" if you will for about 30 years. So they felt that the idea of a foldable laptop was a a very inovative idea that revolutionise the market and blow people's minds!
  23. I could see "VR Therapy" working in some circumstances for some people. Like if you survived a plane crash could use VR to to help overcome the PTS and fear of flying, but not something like... Well... that, reliving that in VR clearly wouldn't help at all. Choosing how to deal with emotional trauma is a case by case and person by person, what works for some people will not for everybody.
  24. Without counting Astro's Playroom which is more of a tech demo there are only 2 games out right that are exclusive to the console, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Demon's Souls. It's obviously better to just wait then buy from these assholes!
  25. No, there is only one song that sends the proper message to the executives at GameStop who thought this was a good idea:
