  1. How do you know that? Have you played it yet?
  2. I get most of mine from YouTube and social media YongYea and ReviewTechUSA are good on youtube and the boys at AngryJoeShow do a nice weekly round up on mondays.
  3. I wouldn't say these companies are the same. Their all terrible but they are all thier own unique flavours of shit. EA are greedy and keep pushing their avarice business practices. They also can't seem to stop embarrassing themselves with constantly and ludicrously defening their montization and that's why they always seem to be in some kind of PR controversy. As hard to believe as it is Acti-Blizzard are possibility even greedier than EA. Not only do they use loopholes to pay literally zero tax, but they got the balls to actully claim rebates on the tax their aren't paying! Unlike EA they at least have the common sense to keep thier shit filled traps shut for the most part. As for FucKonami... Well I think this image still pretty much sums it up: They simply just don't seem to give a shit about anything except pachinko machines and their own pettiness. They could probably make more money if they took game publishing seriously again but apparently they don't want to.
  4. I think I have an explanation. There is some kind of read error and the system can't tell how much storage there is. Therfore the software is defaulting and displaying the maximum amount of storage alowable for 64 bit. Which is 2^64 bytes = 16777216 Tb.
  5. So you've got 16 Exabytes of storage...
  6. This might not be the popular opinion but I'm against this idea. It's a bit of a slap in the face to the people that have in many cases put in years of hard of hard work to make these games. I don't think acknowledging that by showing the studio logo for a few seconds is to much to ask.
  7. I know your technically not "forced" to do busy work in Fallout 4 but If you ignore them ypu end up with a ton of loose quests just hanging and I find it very distracting. This is true of a lot of games and normally I can deal with it, but in Fallout 4 it's tedious and relays on mechanics like the settlement building that simply don't work very well. Skyrim's Hearthfire system is simpler and in my opinion much better but even there it can get a little annoying. I like games like AC Odyssey, Witcher 3 or Horizon Zero Dawn where you can get all your busy work done while on your adventure. You dont feel like your having to stop and start by doing side quests and/or activities.
  8. There are various graphics and gameplay tweeks but the only significant change from original to SE in terms of engine was going from 32 bit to 64 bit and DX11. This meant the game could use more RAM, use higher resolution textures, load more objects without crashing... things like that. This is what they have been doing for years. They have constantly added to it, made tweeks and changes but the actual engine, the base framework is the same one they have been using since the development of The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowwind in the late 90's. I've heard they are STILL using it for Starfeild and probably Elder Scrolls 6 as well. Skyrim SE should have been that last gane to use this fossil, it's limitations were truly laid bare with Fallout 4 and 76.
  9. It's actually quite simple. It's partly for chart rankings (as you mentioned) plus they need to avoid the release date dropping on Bank Holidays or weekends when the Stock Market's are closed.
  10. It's ideas are great and a technical step up... in theory, but they just don't work all that well in actual gameplay. I think a lot of that comes down to it's aging engine that is struggling more and more to keep up with current gaming technology. So good ideas like a new speech system with fully voiced player character, more loot, a new settlement management aspect, improved mechanics for things like Power Armour and a full crafting system just don't work as well as you might think. In fact they are often so often distractioing that you barely even focus on the main story at all.. You spend WAY more time doing tedious busy work like gathering crafting supplies and maintaining your weapoms and armour, the new dialogue system actually gives you less choices and the building system is a nightmare that makes it almost impossible to get things lined up exactly how you want them. Good intentions but just not as good in terms of execution.
  11. I'm considering it, mostly because I'm not going to be playing Cyberpunk this month. I really liked AC Odyssey and this seems to be kind of more of the same.
  12. I personally didn't like Fallout 4 as much as Fallout 3 and New Vegas. To much frustrating busy work and the story didn't suck me in like it did with most other Bethesda games.
  13. Look for an XBox 360 controller with a wireless adapter. I've seen them combined locally for about £15. Then maybe for another £5 - £7 you can get a rechargeable battery pack. That is what I use on PC.
  14. Think about it this way, the 4 screen package that your talking about is £120 a year, the cost of which can be spread between 2 or 3 housholds and you get the likes of Stranger Things, Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, Star Trek Discovery, DC Titans and more. If you dont pay the service gets cut off and thats the end of the matter. The BBC charge you £157.50 for your TV Licence, it's one per household and they offer pretty much nothing but dated reality shows and soap operas. If you dont pay your harassed untill you declare you don't want one or face a £1000 fine.
  15. Ahh... what now? Fortnite made $1.8 Billion last year and the recently released Genshin Impact has made $245 Million in its first month just on mobile! That's not even counting the revenue generated from PC or PlayStation 4 players. I know that there are a ton of free to play games that fail but the successful ones practically print money.
  16. Sony sent Yong Yea a PS5 and he just posted a video about the Adaptive Tiggers and Haptic Feedback and it seems to be pretty imprressive: I see a lot of pontential in this but what do you think? Is this a gimmick that most developers will ignore like the PS4 Touch Pad or is this a real game changer that gives Sony an advantage over the XBox?
  17. I played it and it was good. Everyone thinks or at least assumes it evolved into Sleeping Dogs (which is awesome) although I'm not sure how... It wasn't made by the same publisher, developer or seemed to share any of the same core directors, writers or producers. If anyone can tell me how that gap is plugged let me know.
  18. Are they serious? This is like announcing a new Life is Strange sequel as a MOBA. Literally nothing around the idea matches up! Sharkmob, do yourself a favour and file for bankruptcy now. I guarantee nobody who cares about Vampire the Masquerade cares about Battle Royale (outside of the awwsome unrelated movie) and I can barely believe the typical Battle Royale fanbase is even aware of Vampire The Masquerade Your in Paris and with one bullet your trying to hit one target in New York and another in Bangladesh. Please don’t do this.
  19. If you are talking in terms of short, liner, single player campaigns then Titanfall 2. It's got probably one of the most exciting yet surprisingly emotional FPS single players of the last decade. I know it's EA and the multiplayer is long dead but at a discount price, the campaign is well worth it.
  20. I've been listening ton a lot of covers lately and these two gaming related ones just caugt my attention:
  21. With the 6000 series AMD are for the first time in years looking seriously competitive against Nvidia, especially considering how hard it is to find GeForce GTX 3000 cards at a decent price right now: Keep in mind that these are AMD's test results hence should be taken with a grain of salt but holy shit! I think a lot of PC gamers that couldn't get a 3000 series are seeing red right now... for more reasons than one! Even at the now impossible to get retail price the RX 6900 XT is £500 cheaper than the 3090.
