  1. First of all 2008 to 2013 is s gap of five years not four. Secondly as others including myself have already mentioned Rockstar Games don't just make GTA but also Red Dead Redemption, the second game in such franchise only came out 2 years ago. Other IP's include Max Payne, LA Noire and Bully, a follow up of which was only recently cancelled. So what Rockstar is working on right now could be GTA VI, another Max Payne, a follow up to LA Noire or even something else entirely. The point is Rockstar just came off a major project fairly recently and what they are making next could any number of things. Don't believe anything until it comes from the horses mouth. Whatever GTA VI "information" is out there are at best rumours and at worst flat out bullshit!
  2. For me personally, achievements are a silly gimmick that mean little to absolutely nothing.
  3. Ok seriously, why do people think that GTA VI is right round the corner? I mean think about it! GTA IV was released in 2008 and GTA V was released in 2013, that's a gap of 5 years. After that Red Dead Redemption 2 was released in 2018, that's another 5 years so even if we were to assume that GTA VI went into full production immediately after the release of RDR2, (and there is no way it did since they were working on RDR online) that means with this developemnt cycle the earliest that GTA VI can possibly come out is late 2023! The Elder Scrolls 6 and Beyond Good and Evil 2 will probably be out before that. I know there are some crappy YouTubers that get tons of click-bait views hyping this non-existent game but they are full of it!
  4. I think the main problem the XBox Series X has it that if you already have a decent PC then all the "exclusive" titles will also be available on Windows 10 thanks to their "play anywhere" programme. Even if you don't have a powerful enough PC then their streaming service is an option to, not to mention XBox Game Pass. Don't get me wrong these are good and actually more consumer friendly services than Sony or Nintendo are doing but it's still going to leave a bunch of end users looking at the series X scratching their head wondering "Why should I buy this?".
  5. I'm sorry to have to say it but that makes you and others with the same attitude part of the problem. You shouldn't just accept the same lazy, underdeveloped greedy ass cash cow every year. You should be demanding MORE from Fifa so vote with your wallet and don't buy it again again until they actually make significant improvements. You admit yourself they are ripping you off and selling the same fucking game every year so grow some balls and do somthing about it! It's not just Fifa either but practically every sports franchise from Madden, NBA 2K, PGA and more. Look what happened with WWE 2K20, the annual game came out broken at release, the fans outraged and boycotted and as a result WWE2K21 was cancelled so that the development team could have a longer development cycle for WWE 2K22 and I guarantee that game will be more stable, bigger and better for it. The worst thing though is that because of games like Fifa and it's bullshit Ultimate Team mode publishers like EA have tried to pull the same crap with games Like Star Wars Battlefront 2, but once again, the fans pushed back so don't tell me demanding something better can't work. I’m sorry to rant here especially since it is a bit off topic but this shit REALLY frustrates me. If you want something better from your sports games, then demand something better! If you really just want an updated roster then keep bending over, cause that's you're ever going to get
  6. I normally use a controller but I'm playing Borderlands 2 with keyboard and mouse to get more used to it. For certain games like shooters a mouse is a bit more precise than a controller.
  7. I seriously doubt it, allowing players to mod the game could eat into EA's "Surprise Mechanic" revenue and raping your wallet is literally the only thing those assholes care about.
  8. Expanding on the point I made earlier. According to a recent leak from Amazon France the PS5 will release on November 20. It will retail at €499 with the digital edition without the disk drive at €399. Take these with a grain of salt but I think these are all within the ball park we where all thinking of. I do not, believe anything until it comes out of the horse's mouth.
  9. Actually, Before the Storm is NOT made by the same developer (Dontnod Entertainment) as Life is Strange, Life is Strange 2 or the up and coming Tell me Why, which thanks to you I'm now aware of. It was developed by Deck Nine and Before the Storm was their first and hopefully last stand alone project. Which goes a long way to explain why it's such a piece of shit.
  10. I loved Life is Strange but hated Before The Storm. I can't really explain much about why without spoilers but Life is Strange in my opinion is one of the very best of these episodic, story/character driven type of experiences. Before the Storm is a shitty fan fiction that inexplicably got a budget.
  11. I'd rather see a game complete and stable then rushed out too early by the developer and/or publisher. I hate it even more when their employees have these so called "Crunch" periods where they work ridiculous hours to the detriment of the quality of life and health in order to avoid delays. But I'm with @Shagger, I'm getting sick of game companies making this same excuse over and over and I'm not giving out free passes for it anymore because he's right. The reason is they announce these games too damn early. Cyberpunk is a perfect example of this, the initial release date of April 16 2020 was announced at E3 2019, that's almost an entire year ahead! How could anyone be genuinely confident enough about how much productivity a workforce will have and compensate for everything that might cause a delay to announce when the game will be ready to the day a year in advance? The answer is simple, you can't! Narrow it down to maybe the nearest quarter until you are 100% confident of when it will be ready and THEN annonce the date!

    Keyboards

Yeah, seems weird to me to.... I think I got another keybord lying ayound somwhere that counts as a spare I guess but I don't see any reason you would need more than one at the same time.
  13. I've always preferred horizontal but I think I might go vertical for this generation. These cooling systems on these consoles (the XBox Series X in particular) seem to have optimised for that position.
  14. Unless the standard version is massively more expensive I'd rather have the option of physical discs.
  15. Both the Xbox Series X and the PS5 are confirmed for holiday 2020, so the they will be released around October/November this year.
  16. Actully looking at this image I can't but think "Okay, so Dubai has just set the a new world recored for the tasllest building again!" 🤣
  17. That's not surprising, they probably need the extra room for cooling.
  18. The ending of Metal Gear Solid 3 is one that always stood out for me. Unlike the convoluted mess that was the ending of Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3's ending has an actually clever twist that winds up the story and character arcs in a way that makes sense and doesn't feel rushed. Not to mention it brings me to tears every time. The Last of Us is another great one, it winds up the experience of it's characters and how much they have grown and changed together so well.
  19. I've taken the libery of skipping to the start of the event, you need about 1 hour and 15 minutes if you want to watch the whole thing. So the PS5 has been revealed! Overall I think It was a decent showcase with a nice mixture of 1st party exclusives, 3rd party titles, inde's and of course the reveal of the console design. I'll probably provide more of my own thoughts and opinions on it later since it is pretty late for me at this point, but what are your thoughts?
  20. Well I can tell you there is absolutely positively no way the next GTA is coming this year, in fact given Rockstar's release cycle it probably won't even be this half of the decade. Don't pay attention to rumours or videos about GTA 6 they almost always clickbait crap. For me it's a close call between The Last of Us Part 2 and Cyberpunk 2077, unless a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn comes this year with the launch of the PS5 but I doubt it.
  21. Mobile for me, I loathe microtransactions and most games on there just seem to be loaded with them. I know that there are some good games on there that don't do that sort but even they are buried so deep in the septic tank that they are almost impossible to find.
  22. I can think of one improvment, get rid of the fucking Social Club! It is the worst DRM I have ever experienced. I recently got the game from Epic with the free offer and after downloading and installing it took me, and I'm not exaggerating, 2 HOURS just to get the game started. On top of having to make a Social Club account (which is bullshit and I shouldn't have to do so to play the game offline in the first place) it kept asking me for a product key which I obviously didn't have since it wasn't a physical copy. Confused, I opened a browser to link my Epic and Social Club accounts manually... which didn't work until for no obvious reason on one occasion when I logged back in, it did. When I got past that stage I then had to log into my Social Club account and the server kept timing out, which meant I had to re-type my email, password and go through the captcha over and over and over. It's not normal captcha either, it's that incredibly obnoxious panel one that you normally only find on dodgy pulocker streaming sites or whatever (picured below) and it wasn't one page but around a dozen pages clicking on these dumb jpeg's over and over and over and over... every... single... time! GTA V, WAS a great when I played it on console back in the day, but now it's just a showcase of Rockstar's arrogance and greed. Forcing people to go through this hellacious process even if they don't want to play online is disgraceful. By the time I finally got into the game menu... the nightmare STILL wasn't over as for some reason the game refused to save my graphics settings! I got a powerfull PC that can easilly max out the game at my monitor's native 1440p resolution but each time I saved my settings and logged back into the game going through that fucking god forsaken process... AGAIN! It would default back to 720p and 30fps lock. By the time I actually got into the game and didn't even wanna play anymore, luckily for me the game wouldn't work with my controller for some reason so I finally gave up. I have not played it since.
  23. In Skyrim you have the choice of siding with the Blades and killing Parthonax or letting him live and not having their support. What I really wanted to do was turn that Delphine over to the Thalmor and watch them torture and behead the bitch with a huge grin my face!
  24. I mentioned in the other thread that being a Werewolf isn't worth it and I think if anything being a Vampire is even less worth while, the drawbacks FAR outweigh the advantages. The powers of the Vampire lord are more useful in combat than the Werewolf but they are still no stronger than a good build. You've also got the sunlight issue which affects your ability to explore or even fast travel effectively in combination with having to feed which if you're in a town risks getting bounties and being attacked by the guards if you're caught. Then there's a whole new skill tree you gotta deal with.... It's just too taxing in my opinion.
