Kane99
With the apps on your phone, do you ever pay for the full game to get rid of ads and other annoying popups? I have only done so once, and that was a with a football game on mobile. I also bought some players in game. But, do you ever feel the need to pay to get rid of the ads in most paid for apps and games?
skyfire
I have paid for games and few apps but these days I prefer to reduce the cost as much as possible.
Darth
No. I'll consider it if there are apps that have one-time charges to remove ads permanently but the majority of them have subscriptions to do which is just annoying really. So the only time I'll pay within an app is for when they provide some added features.
skyfire
I dont see the strong reason anyone should pay any money though. from what I have realized that it's good to pay for apps if they serve your need otherwise better to stay on free tier. Syntax
It depends, if I will play the game a bunch and get that value out of it - sure. But not to just every app that may have ads, and if the ads are super super annoying I'll just delete the game outright.
kingpotato
I pay for it on Crunchyroll to watch anime without the adds, but thats about it. I wouldnt pay it on any other type of app.
Justin11
It doesn't affect me with ads, provided the contents are what I really like. I don't block them neither, that's the only way I can say thank you to the content creator.
skyfire
Yes that is one way of helping the creators. I have seen many creators doing that.
Empire
I personally never have done, but I would if I found a game/app that was of a high enough quality and I liked it enough. I wouldn't buy to stop adverts interrupting me, in that situation I'd have uninstalled it long before I'd decided I liked it enough to pay for it. skyfire
I dont mind the ads either but too much of the microtransaction inside the apps and the games has affected me for sure.
Knight Barida
I don't do such and I doubt that I am going to try that soon. How do I even get to start paying when I can wait for a while till the ads are done. I've got other bills to foot for goodness sake.

Ad based item purchase or the gate to unlock something is fine. the reason being you don't have to pay there.

When the ad is the cost of getting such items especially on games that I play, then I see that as no big deal.
Prof elohstar
Let the ads keeps coming I love it. I don't pay for games, not because am stingy but because am managing myself so I wouldn't spend money to purchase games, I'll rather go for the free ones and enjoy the ads.
