StaceyPowers Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 (edited) Do you prefer one-handed or two-handed weapons in video games? I know people who like two-handed weapons, but I usually can’t wrap my mind around it. I really like having a free hand to use another weapon or cast a spell. Plus, big two-handed weapons are so … slow. It is hard to time my hits. By the time I've swung the blade, the target has moved. Edited October 29, 2018 by StaceyPowers
DylanC Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 I usually opt for one-handed weapons so it frees my other hand up for magic or a shield. But I occasionally dabble with two-handed weapons to see how powerful they are.
Yarik Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 It depends on the game for me but mostly I prefer two handed weapons. In the MMORPG which I was playing before they were stronger and better for the class I was playing with.
MegaphoneStallone Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Two one handed weapons. One in each hand. And body armour. I've been playing too much Goldeneye, maybe.
italianmunchiez Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 (edited) One handed hands down if you use pistols, 2 if you use assault rifles etc. Edited October 30, 2018 by italianmunchiez
Joant73 Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 (edited) In most games I would say I prefer one-handed, I like to keep my player mobile and have speed in my attacks. In Skyrim however, heavy armor two handed weapon is my favorite build, once you are high level you are just a tank that crushes most enemies in one or two hits, you can just march in anywhere and lay waste to all those who stand opposed. Alexander. Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 (edited) Both have their benefits, don't get me wrong. However, it's one-handed weapon all the way for me. First of all, a one-handed sword or gun allows the use of something else such as Shield in the other hand. Defence is just as imporant as Attacking your opponent so that's why I'm choosing One-Handed. Edited December 7, 2018 by xXInfectedXx
Joshua Farrell Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 It depends on what I am doing that requires the option. If I am playing and want to mow my way through enemies, I prefer two weapons over a single weapon in game.
DarthHazard Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 One-handed weapons always. Except when I get to use the dual wield pistols on Fortnite but unfortunately those were removed from the game in a recent patch. I just think it's much better to use a one-handed weapon where you can use the left trigger to aim more accurately and then shoot. With a two-handed weapon, games usually have it so that the left trigger fires the left gun and the other trigger fires the other one which means you usually lack a bit of accuracy.
UleTheVee Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 The Monado is a Two-Handed Weapon. That's the reason why I love Two-handed.
killamch89 Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Two one-handed weapons are my favorite style. Dual-wielding always looks so smooth especially weapons.
Reality vs Adventure Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Two handed is too slow, but the finishing blow is usually worth the blood splatter, more so than any one-handed. I like to alternate.
Justin11 Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Handling two weapons will simply make my player to be weak, unable to run normal in the game. I just prefer going with one handed weapon to allow my character have pace during enemy attack.
Head_Hunter Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Same with me, I feel that my player or character will be overloaded when carrying two sided weapons. I prefer one sided weapon to give him or her the balance to float around.
