  1. Not too hard at all. How well did you do, folks? https://twinfinite.net/2021/07/can-you-name-these-iconic-video-game-villains/

  2. Has happened to me while gaming and I get stuck in a loop that goes round forever. After a while I give up and take a break for a while then after many hours or days when I get back into the mood again, I pass with flying colours.

  3. The rules of games are simple that's why we can know the exact path to success. The rules of reality are vastly complex, some of which we hadn't even begun to understand. So obviously we can't have the easy formula for success. p.s.: Besides games have clear goals, what is the goal in reality? You set your own goals, and thus you are always in control of your own success.

  4. There really aren’t any rules in real life. There are laws which are created by man and always change. Depending on who is in power, those are the rules. And even then people fight wars over those rules. Then there is religion with guidance and principles that people pretend to follow, and people fight wars over. There is a quote in the Assassins Creed games that I love: Nothing is true; Everything is permitted.

  5. I always start off with default. I am not even sure I've ever switched to a difficult mode for playing? If I'm playing for entertainment, which I normally am, then why stress myself out with too hard of a setting?

  6. I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but the reason I play games for so long is because I’m in a wheelchair and on disability. I have nothing but empty time to fill, and games do the trick. I’m stuck sitting on my fat ass all day. But I don’t only play games. I do use my time productively for a couple hours. I’m using Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish at the moment. But I’m still sitting at the same desk that I game on. Very little movement. I have to have my girl exercise my legs because I don’t have the strength to do it myself. But luckily, I know when it’s time to get off the computer. When I get so bored I want to strangle myself, it’s time to shut down.

  7. I didn't do too bad there. The only one I got wrong was Rafe Adler of Uncharted, who I never would've guessed. There were only three I had to guess, with the Dark Souls king being the one that had me racking my brain. I almost chose Vendrick, but knew that couldn't have been right because he looks nothing like that.

  9. I mean look at the definition: "the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence." No one is ever going to know everything about life, because there are an infinite number of things to learn. But the more you learn, or come to understand, about the world in a philosophical sense, the better off you're likely to be.

  10. On topic, I wouldn't rather be amazing at any activity because, like I implied above, knowing everything is pretty much unattainable. Even if if it were attainable, I don't think I would be able to cope with the pressure of being that smart. I'd image it being a very lonely. Like, nobody would be at your level and nobody would really be able to get close to you. Having ultimate talent would at least be more social.

  11. It gives you a basic principle to follow; not really any conclusions, but a principle. You could run experiments on some things, but most of the time experiments will end up being inhumane to test. Such as trying to understand the intelligence of animals, and what suffering they endure. The same goes for humans. There is usually a key ingredient in philosophy; It is: what causes the most or least suffering.

  12. A hammock. They are so comfortable, that I could live in one. I have a sky chair at the moment, but nowhere to hang it. 😢
