Leveling from 50 to 75 is the hardest part.  After that you can repair to 125% so you can practice on pretty every single weapon and armour piece you find and it's a lot easier.  With that being said it shouldn't be taking THIS long.  Are you using trainers to?  If the purpose of this is to raise endurance (which is something you want to do) then you can raise block and heavy armour as well.  Armourer as a skill honestly isn't anywhere near as important as it is Skyrim anyway since there's no crafting system.

For those wondering, the easiest way to explain echolalia is ... do you ever walk around singing lyrics to your favorite song without really thinking about it? That, but not necessarily singing or a song. That's what the kid was doing. Just repeating lines that were stuck in his head from the game. There was no "intent" or "threat" in them. He just liked how they sounded/felt to say. This is the equivalent of charging a kid with a felony for singing a song with violent lyrics.

Ridiculous. I am autistic, and like that kid, I do echolalia (repeating lines from things as a stim). Not sure if the school is ignorant about echolalia, prejudiced toward autistic persons, or hates video games.

Okay, it looks like here this kid has a pattern of out-of-context quotes, and that the faculty and parents had a plan in place where staff are supposed to ask him if he is quoting a movie/game or not, and they didn't do that, and just filed the charges (which have now been dropped).

I have a figurine of Sylvanas Windrunner from World of Warcarft, and if that's not nerdy, then my faction flags from the same game are.

StaceyPowers got a reaction from Heatman in DA Inquisition The Descent Reclaiming the Thaig … any tips?
So, I did beat the “Reclaiming the Thaig” quest in The Descent DLC in DA Inquisition last night, but only by running away a lot to bring everyone back to life at half health. Does anyone have some more strategic tips for how to beat that fight?

For some reason, I'll be trying to press the start button and accidentally press the select button on my Xbox controller or even the Microsoft logo. It's pretty hilarious actually.

I used to mix up X and Square a lot for some reason, I guess at some point they changed the fifa buttons and I was used to it one way, so mostly those two.

Seriously, I keep getting the L1/L2 and R1/R2 mixed up all the time. It happens frequently when I'm under pressure.

You can literally build your vehicles from scratch with all kinds of crazy customization. So far, it feels like a modern day Robocraft which isn't a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination. As a matter of fact, that's probably why I took such a liking to it immediately. So far, it has been a blast. You can watch the video down below:
It's funny how I've never ever seen this game anywhere and it's been out for about 5 years or more and I'm always looking for fun F2P games.

I've bought Mass Effect Legendary Edition and so thusly jumping into this iconic franchise for the first time. I don't really know why I've never played this game until now, it just sort of passed me by. I don't really regret that though because this new version offers some superb value with the original trilogy and all of thier combined DLC content in one convenient package. Shows that even EA can get shit right on occasion, but the fact there is 40 DLC's across these three games in the first place does bring me back to reality somewhat 😆.

Still, really enjoyed the first few hours so far, although navigating the Citadel (if I'm getting that right) is a bit of a pain.

What do you think of this version of the game, what hints and tip can you offer and what do you think of the franchise in general?

StaceyPowers reacted to Heatman in Where is the line between poor game design and lack of player patience?
To be honest with you, there are some gamers who are too impatient to play any game. It makes a mess for them and they dwell so much on cursing the game.

StaceyPowers got a reaction from Family sedan in Idea: There should be multiple tutorial/guidance options for a game
Some gamers complain that tutorials are long, slow, boring, and there is too much hand-holding. Others complain that they are too short, confusing, or absent.
Here’s an idea: When a gamer starts a new game, they can choose a setting for the level of tutorial/guidance, they will receive, instead of a one-size-fits-all tutorial.

The pilot of Jansen's Helicopter in Deus Ex: Human Revolution comes to mind. We never really knew much about her other than she's one brave soldier putting herself in danger to help Jansen get to the bottom of his conspiracy. She ended up dying and I was a bit moved because she's a real one.

I hate trying to learn the controls of elaborate, open world games. For example RDR2 was a bitch to learn. It became second nature after I had it down, but aside from that, it felt next to impossible when I was learning it.

I absolutely love it. It gives the thrill to learn new controls in the new environment, obviously its thrilling.
But in most of the cases, since I play action games, the controls are more or less the same. Only thing I have to do is to tweak with the the sensitivity and some additional changes in the keyboard/controller. 😊

StaceyPowers reacted to Shagger in Different Platforms, Controls and UI's. Discuss Pro's and Con's.
Most games give you an option to re-bind the keyboard to other commands that aren't the default. Even if a game doesn't allow it, there's always third party software and programmable keyboards and mice that will do the same thing. I use a programmable mouse as I like to transfer as much control away from the keyboard as possible. In my perfect world, I'd only use the keyboard to access to access and navigate menus, WASD keys to move, number keys for hotkey shortcuts for items and weapons and that's it. It's not perfect, though. Programmable peripherals take time to get set up right. I was only satisfied with how I had set up the M/K controls for Horizon Zero Dawn on PC after about 2-3 hours of fiddling with it.

For me though, the whole issue of preference when it comes to control is mostly down to the game. I would hate trying to play a RTS game with a controller, and would equally hate a very stealth focused 3rd person game like Metal Gear Solid or Assassin's Creed using M/K as a keyboard just doesn't allow for the same control over speed of movement. It's useally a toggle choice between fast as a thief at market or slow as an ass with no legs. Even in games like Skyrim I find it annoying.

StaceyPowers reacted to Reality vs Adventure in Do you miss items even when you search rooms thoroughly?
Man, how does it happen? My eyes are rolling around and head spinning looking for something; just gimme something. Flopping around here and there; Where's my gold. Gimme my gems. They are mine. I want them red rubies, green emeralds, clear diamonds, sunny gold. Gimme that straight up cold silver and drench me in it. Metals minerals. Let my hands feel it. That is my destiny. I don't care what you think. It's all mine. The map says the treasure was here. I see something shiny. There has to be something under that tree. In the cave? On the highest mountain? That is the closest I can get to God. Billions of years to produce fine specimens. I want it all. I will kill for it all. Morph me into a dragon so I can bathe in these Earth treasures. Please. I won't kill. I'll just slumber and feel it's energy within me. It's all I need.
