StaceyPowers Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 What games do you enjoy the most from an exploration standpoint? For me, first person open world games like Fallout and Elder Scrolls rank high, but so do BioShock games. Despite being linear, they have so many amazing details to enjoy.
killamch89 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Elder Scrolls, Fallout, GTA, Devil May Cry are games I love to explore because they always have lots of collectibles laying around and interesting things to see.
Empire Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 On a smaller scale, I absolutely loved the exploration in Alien: Isolation. Really enjoyed sneaking around the station Sevastpol, cautiously discovering new areas, little details and stories, new blueprints, all while soaking up the incredible atmosphere, knowing the alien could be close by. Exploration with an extra thrill!
Alexander. Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 My favourite games for exploring? It would probably have to be Skyrim. The map is so big that it would take a player days on end to cover the whole area. The graphics are 3D, detailed and look really realistic compared to real life.
Patrik Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 GTA San Andreas to be honest, it's probably the only game that never stops from surprising me because there is always something weird to find about or a small detail to pay attention to
m76 Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Oblivion Fallout3 Skyrim Fallout4 DeusEx Test Drive Unlimited Mass Effect Mako exploration Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost Recon Breakpoint Tomb Raider (2013)
Kane99 Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Most open world games to be honest, but the better ones being stuff like Skyrim, Far Cry series, GTA Series, some of the assassin's creed series and many more.
skyfire Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 I think assassin's creed has a lot to explore like those locations, market and small detail in it. Kind of makes you feel things are worth exploring.
Empire Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Will mention this since that's what I been playing for the last week now, ever since I got the game 🙂 It's valheim, it's a good game for exploring for things, caves and getting killed or kill the trolls that you tend to see on the way as you are exploring a very larg map. I mean it's so big that no idea if I able to get to explore all the map.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is a great shout for hidden areas.
Syntax Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Probably No Mans Sky, or online games like WoW/RuneScape or so

Heatman Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 When it comes to video games that really gives you the opportunity for exploration is definitely open world games such as RDR2, Mass Effect, Fallout 3 and 4, Skyrim as well as GTA.
