    Before Your Eyes

Jenkins: Sir, I've had a brilliant idea! Jenkins' Boss: Good Jenkins. What is it? Jenkins: We're going to revolutionize the world gaming like never before! Truly set the world on fire and capture and enthral the imaginations of gamers across the globe! Jenkins' Boss: Fascinating. How are we going to do this? Jenkins: We are going develop a game control interface that can only be controlled through an impulse action the human body does on it's own that the player has little to no control over! Jenkins' Boss:................. Jenkins:.... Sir? Jenkins' Boss: You're fired.

  2. I tried like a dozen different things to treat my anxiety, almost none of which helped, and then I got a PS3. Gaming every night before bed has done more to help me sleep than anything else I've ever tried, and does wonders to stabilize my mood. Anyone else have the same experience?

  3. According to this game, fluttering while definitely screw her over. She better tape her eyelids open 😹

  4. I look forward to the complete reviews but to be honest, I didn't really care about the multiplayer mode anyways so that's not a deal breaker for me. RE's canon seems to be all over the place - As a matter of fact, I'm not even sure about the chronological order.

  5. Just because PC gaming has long since abandoned disk based games doesn't mean that disk based games have lost any value. On the contrary, the advantages of disk based games are more precious and valued now more than ever and not just taken for granted because greedy game publishers are so desperate to be rid of them. They don't want people to be able to buy used games, swap games, loan games to friends, trade them and know they'll still work even if the store/service that provided them goes down. Like I said, just because PC gamers have had to live without these rights for so many years doesn't meant they have lost any value. So suffice to say, I say stick to your guns and get the console with the disk drive.

  6. To me, grinding can only be fun if the gameplay itself is rewarding. Take dark souls for example, farming souls and titanite chunks from those giants in Anor Londo presents an interesting challenge each time you do it, which keeps it interesting. Mindlessly clicking things over and over with 0 risk of dying is the absolute worst thing a game can do.

I guess it's good for paralyzed people who have no other way of interacting with a game. But I don't think it would be much fun for general audiences.

Never heard of it, it sounds like a pretty annoying way to control a game to me.

    Stargate SG-1

Fascape was the first SciFi show I ever watched and it got me hooked. That's how I moved onto SG1, SG Atlantis, BSG and Star Trek. Ben Browder and Claudia Black, both Farscape vets, joined the SG1 cast when Richard Dean stood down from the show. Super awesome show to check out too even if it's a little older. SG Atlantis was my favourite of the 2 though.

  12. @Empire You're not going to get too much for $400. Decent looks at the moon, and maybe a bit of a clearer look at Mars due to how close it is to Earth. @killamch89 I would recommend a Celestron NexStar. Mine is a 5se which means it has a 5" lens. @ZandraJoi has an 8se which means she has an 8" lens. Hers is more powerful than mine obviously, but I still have a great look at the solar system, and several things beyond, such as nebulae and a few other galaxies. Andromeda is really amazing to see. It's also easy to spot since it's the closest galaxy to the Milky Way. There are others that, if you time it right, you can get a shot of them in one. Here's a pic of Andromeda that was taken through by a simple astronomy lover, like myself and @ZandraJoi through their telescope.

  14. Imagine all the resources used if we didn't sleep. 7 billion people awake at all times? Your internet would always be slow, pollution, animals going haywire, energy consumption, and government will have the jobs make you work 12 hours a day to keep you busy and out of trouble. More taxes for them to be made off of you. So you think you would have more time, but your fellow greedy society will force long labor hours. And you wouldn't complain because the prices of everything will have gone up 400% so you would need to work those long hours and end up in the same boat you are in now. Kids will live in school half the day. Colleges will make you take 4 extra classes a semester and you are left studying longer hours. Get smarter and more skilled? Sure. Only the rich will benefit. If everything stayed the same and I didn't sleep, I would probably do the same thing I do now and entertain myself through games, books, shows, and play with my animals. If you don't work on your projects now, what makes you think you will with more time? Is time your motivation? It's not mine. If there is something you want to do, find what will motivate you and do it. Time will work its magic for you.
