  1. 100% agree. Nintendo is perfectly fine doing their thing. It works for them and for their fans. I think Nintendo fans won't care whether they buy up studios or not. They just want to play the games that make their consoles. I've said it a few times, Nintendo doesn't need the triple A games that other consoles get. Yeah sure a COD would be nice on the Switch, but I'm sure fans aren't itching to get their fix of COD on a Nintendo console. The fanbase is vastly different. When I see Nintendo, I see a niche that they found for themselves. That niche is perfectly suited for them, because they know the niche 100% and know how to market it, how to sell it, how to get people interested and so on.
  2. Yeah I think that could be a very realistic future for them. They wouldn't need to make suped up consoles when they could possibly use streaming down the road as well. We all know streaming will eventually become the norm, as I hate the idea of it, it feels kind of inevitable. But it still will be a while before streaming is possible all around the world. It's one thing to stream movies, and tv, but to stream a video game is a whole other story. Anyway, with a mix of gamepass and streaming. Eventually digital will take over leaving out physical and then streaming later on.
  3. That's a good idea. I didn't even know there was one for Fallout lol. I remember hearing about the Elder Scrolls one. I wonder what other games have their own cookbooks now.
  4. I wish my family and friends gave me more gaming related gifts. Not video games really, but more memorabilia and other such things. Collectibles and such.
  5. I remember borrowing this game from a friend years ago, and then I lost it under my bed at one point and never found it. I think my friend ended up taking it back without telling me, or someone else stole it.
  6. I wish live service games would work, but the idea behind them is that they are too corrupt. Too many force you to pay to really get anywhere. Now if they were fair, the microtransactions didn't give you an edge or better skills, than I'm all for it. But when it starts to sell you more powerful stuff, then it becomes pay to win and a definite live service game.
  7. Also, if they do ever make a console, they could potentially have the bigger userbase just because of how many people use Facebook. Now I'm not saying that would happen, considering not every facebook user is a gamer, but it would probably be easy for facebook users to navigate their profiles.
  8. It was inevitable that we'd see something from Sony to compete. They already have a service that is like gamepass, just not as fleshed out. I wonder if this will be as good as Gamepass or better.
  9. I saw a YouTuber showing the game off. And I'm not sure what to think. I'm happy with the reversal system I think. It's much different. But I do worry that this is going to be just small changes and pretty much the same. I was debating on pre-ordering it, but I think I'll wait for reviews to come out before I purchase it.
  10. Yup. I don't know how long they are contracted for, but I bet it's quite a while. But once that contract ends, MS will for sure make it exclusive to their consoles and probably PC. Would be crazy if they actually honored their word and allowed those games to stay multiplatform. But they said the same thing about Bethesda games and I'm pretty sure they already stated future games would be exclusive to Xbox but already announced/soon to be released games would still drop on all consoles.
  11. lol who knows. My guess is a no, but I wouldn't doubt it. I think the previous South Park games allowed you to dress in a lot of different outfits. So I wonder if there was a Britney Spears one at some point lol.
  12. So odd to be selling nail polish, but I see a lot of men and women wearing it, so I can see some gamers being into this. And we all know there was probably collectors attempting to buy these up by the handful so they can price them double on ebay or something. It's not my thing, but to each their own.
  13. It's honestly not that long away. I could totally see them dropping the game in the next 3-4 years. May sound like a long time, but honestly that sounds about right to me.
  14. I mean, some games will let you plan for the end, because they give you the options to upgrade and advance your character in some games. So I figure in some regards, you're planning things out. But it's a bit tougher to say when it's a story based game and you are basically following a linear storyline from point a to b. idk, it's hard to plan a game out if it forces you on a certain path.
  15. I was thinking about getting the new DLC for online just to get some form of new story. Even though I hate that it's locked to online. I'm just tired of the whole online aspect of it.
  16. Has anyone here ever dealt with a bad game admin or mod personally? Like you actually got kicked out of a game because of an unruly mod. What types of stories do you all have?
  17. Eh that doesn't look good at all. Why can't they make it as close to the show? It just doesn't screen Attack on Titan to me.
  18. It shouldn't be anywhere near gaming, but the inevitable truth is that they will find a way to put it in. It's annoying, but it's going to happen, no matter how much we hate on them for it. 😞

    Origin

Origin, or EA Desktop is just another game launcher we have to deal with. We have too many launchers now. I hate that every company has to make their own game launcher now. Or even game downloading service. Soon enough, each company will just sell their own games on their own sites, defeating the point of Origin to begin with.

    Game size

Well there is something like that, it's called compression, but that's when you zip a folder to decrease its size for sharing. I'm sure there's something like this for game sizes, but bear in mind, the compression of files can also cause corruption of files.

    Overclocking

I've never overclocked my PC. And honestly, I don't even know what overclocking is. Is it like seeing how powerful your PC truly is by having it run through 3D similatuons and stuff? That's what I always though.
  22. True, but there are PC only games out there. One that comes to mind that's recent, is that Ready or Not game. Though it has been out for a while, I heard it's a really good game.
  23. I imagine it will continue till then. Hopefully not too much longer though, because I wouldn't mind building myself a more suped up gaming PC one of these days.
  24. I feel like they still fit into the main gaming market, even though they fit into their own. No matter what though. Nintendo will survive just fine no matter what direction they go in, as long as they make products that work and are fun to play.
  25. That's fair. I mostly only use it for fortnite myself. Other than that, I maybe download the free games, but rarely do I ever play them.
